If you turn off the "transparent background" the text will be white with a black box background. For the most part, the black text box will block out most of the Chinese words.

Right after asking Changge about wearing the perfume, the camera shot a close-up at Ashile Sun, 8:21 into the episode. I love how they shot that angle because his face was very well defined. 😊

I will do that. It's funny because I posted the same instructions on the Ancient Love Poetry page and instead of using it to watch ALP, someone said they were going to use this approach to watch TLB again with the revised/better subs. 😂

Yes! 😁 You just have to download the subs. I just found this out today so I thought of sharing.

I went on Youtube and the other website I've mentioned above and tried the subs that I had created and it works just fine. But the subs has to be only one line of text (usually at the bottom of the screen) rather than the other set I did where there are two lines (music lyrics on top while the text was on the bottom).

Yes they were rip from WeTV since I purchased their VIP account. I also edit and grammar check the subs.

I believe WeTV is only showing up tp E12 for non-VIP accounts as of today.

There were no videos on the playlist at all for me when I clicked on the link. I had to use VPN to see the playlist/videos and watch them.

I was so piss off at Siqi from E13-E18 with how she was treating Qunfei. I also want to wring her neck every time she came on screen. 🤣 He really needs to forget her and find someone so much better.

I regards to Fanlu & Xiangyun's sudden marriage, I think part of it is due to poor production editing. They could have put more time on how those two progress to the level of marriage. Like you said, if this was Fanlu's way of trying to get Yuzheng's attention, then she went own the wrong path. You can clearly see how UNHAPPY she was.

I was smiling when Yuzheng grabbed Xiaosu's hand and lead her out of the police station. 😍 I wish he would've turn around to say something to the mean cheap woman just to slap her in her face. She deserved it.

1. Love the way Yuzheng came to Xiaosu's rescue. Very cute scenes and chemistry between them.
2. Her best friend was of no help when Xiaosu was stuck in jail. Too busy being a materialistic person. 😤
3. How did Fanlu & Xiangyuan relationship progress so fast to the point of marriage? We're only on E18, they could have shown more on how Fanlu decided to marry Xiangyuan. She was EXTREMELY UNHAPPY getting married.
4. I hope Zhenrong's mother doesn't cause any more problems for Xiaosu after seeing her at Fanlu's wedding reception. I'm not fond of her after her attempt to breakup Xiaosu & Zhenrong.

I tried it earlier and it works. Remember to change the font color to another color (like yellow) so it's easier to read the text. There should be a 'S" icon on the lower right of the video. Click on it and change the color (white, yellow, blue, green option). You have the option to change the font size too.

If you're using Youtube, remember to turn off the captions from Youtube and then apply the subtitle browser extension.

For those who are interested in watching a different set of subtitles (if your country is restricted to a certain platform), someone from another drama page shared another way to watch online with subs without having to download the raw episodes.

FYI, this doesn't work with people from US. I had to use VPN with Singapore IP in order to see these.
