I cried when Shao Zhenrong died. All of Xiaosu & Zhenrong scenes from E5 & E6 were so heartbreaking. 😭😭 The last time I cried was when Ashile Sun's mother died from The Long Ballad. I know Zhenrong was not the main lead, but it was still sad. I had to pause on his death scene and take a step away from the drama, even though it's my second time watching this scene. You can feel their pain. Great acting on their part in these two episodes.

It took me awhile to find that clip since I remember watching it when the bts first came out and we were all discussing initially (I think in the 20K comments?). I was looking all over the internet for it yesterday since I couldn't find it on YouTube.

I agree with you that the bts adds an additional intense feeling. The fact that he was so in character was amazing. So how great of an actor he is.

No worries, here are the steps:

1. Download Bittorrent (https://www.bittorrent.com/products/) first.
2. Download the raw episodes from the website (https://www.dlkoo.cc/down/5/2021/551783209.html) by clicking on the Bittorent link (the ones that said 01-12 BT and 13-14 BT)
3. Finally download the subtitles from here after the episodes are done downloading (https://subscene.com/subtitles/tears-in-heaven-variety-flowers-at-seaside)
4. Make sure the raw episodes and subtitles are named the same in order for you to see the subtitles.

I know it's alot of steps, but PM if you need further instructions.

Have you tried VPN? I had to use a Singapore IP address to watch from the US.

Yes, it's on WeTV. But it's not available to the USA. I have to use VPN to get around the restrictions in order to see the English subs.

I'm from from the USA, so getting the subs took a bit of time but I managed to get WeTV subtitles for E01-E14. The srt files are uploaded on subscene.com right now for those who are familiar with downloading the raw episodes and getting subs. These are for watching offline, not to be confused with watching online.

Unfortunately, Leon doesn't show up until E17.

I know what you mean. I'm currently watching Ancient Love Poetry and he's in there as a supporting role. For some reason, I seem to like his looks more in this drama. Don't take me wrong, he's good in ALP, but he seems more handsome here.

Do you know if WeTV showed the 40sec that's missing from the raw episodes? Does it show a longer conversation between Jingzhao and Houchi during their youth?

I usually download the raw episodes and watch them offline on my iPad. I've been uploading the subtitles for this drama on Subscene. So I notice there's appox. 40 secs of text that's not on the raw episode. I had to edit the subtitle so that the text will sync up with the raw video.

Dramacool just probably uploaded the subtitle without making sure the texts are lined up.

Maybe someone who watched E22 on WeTV can confirm for us if the subtitle is out of sync as well on their platform?

Did they cut out the scene where Jingzhao was obnoxious to Houchi when they were younger? The subtitles seems to show there's an extended scene, but it's not shown?
