Yeah, at least they are back on track now with later half of episode 10. (The whole Majin arc is a bit out of loop.I am still bitter they had to rescue GMJ instead of making connections & doing business)
In the remaining episodes, hoping the drama will retain the qualities of earlier episodes which focus on human relationships than over the top 'Loss & Win' scenes. These kinds of over the top scenes are usually present in same genre dramas like 'Chief Kim' & 'Vincenzo' ,but it doesn't matter much if hero team is winning . But if hero team is losing in repetitive circles, it becomes a bit annoying .
I am the type of audience who will go till the end . So, my mind will be peaceful if the production retains quality or if it can be better . For the sake of casts & crews too.

My pookie is going to become a villain. I can't hate him though.

Some regard Typhoon Family as not a success. It is a success in South Korea with highly decent Ratings on paid channel and buzz. And it is mentioned on South Korea media as 'Lee Junho's third consecutive box office hits after 'The Red Sleeve' & 'King The Land'.

For an actor, the filmography is built step by step, and Junho is doing this by expanding his genre.

Umm. It don't think it is underrated in South Korea. Good data buzz is an online buzz so it means younger audience who are active on SNS are also paying attention to the drama.
Tv viewership rating is around 7-9% (It is usual that the even number episodes do better than odd number ones for tv dramas) though it is paid cable Tv channel.

It may not be a career defining hit for the casts, but still a success as a project.

'Underrated' may be for global audience. Yeah, but this slice of life genre with ordinary people is rarely popular for global audience. No super rich, no super smart protagonists .It is not a story,centred around young love either.
And, traditionally Rom-coms are the most popular .

But,Junho wouldn't do a romcom for twice in a row to expand his popularity. He is an actor who wants to expand his filmography.

Exactly that point. If it is promoted as a romantic drama,it makes sense. But it is promoted as a business drama and the majority who tune in, on television are expecting such genre.

Above, I am talking out my frustrations out as a viewer of the drama.
Hearing you said about Junho's charms ,let me out my frustrations as Junho's fan. Director & writer surely bring out all the charms of Lee Junho as a singer & actor, but they failed to bring out 'Actor' Lee Junho acting abilities to the max .(in the already aired episodes).

Sure, Junho could act out in the earlier episodes ,but in later episodes, I couldn't see much.

When tvN promoted it as the best script of the year and Junho was cast in it, I thought it would be another masterpiece like TRS showcasing both his serious side as a workplace CEO & some fun side as a man. [Yi San is a character ,written extremely well both in his role as a king and as a man in love. Junho got a Jackpot when he was cast in TRS.]
And yeah, call me as a fan with ambition, I hope to see him at next award ceremony.

But in latest episodes , I couldn't see the gripping quality at all (esp in thailand episodes) .I thought Majin issue would be solved within a few minutes of yesteray's episode and they would do business. My thought couldn't be proven more wrong .

The story started so great that they gained viewers than other dramas. But in the middle, the story is losing tempo . So,it is not surprising they slowly lose viewers who expect something more.

Saying this, it is not that story did poorly. It can be something greater ,but it stops where it is. So it brings me frustration as a viewer of the drama & a fan of the leading actor.

I can't be an Oppa fan whenever I watch a drama. I end up giving 'Mean Remark' to the drama while it is fangirl's duty to promote it.

The writer can create more well-written female characters than male counterparts.
-Oh Miseon - An introverted female lead who lacks confidence in her self. Actually a capable staff . A young woman who has to look after her family.
-Oh Miho -seemingly an ignorant little sister at first, Miho is actually quite lovely. A young woman who has to work to support the family.
There are other characters who are also well written.
Like male lead mama & gangnam business woman character.

On the contrary, her creation for male characters -it is like there are rooms for improvement, but she doesn't like to touch there.

-Taepoong - sure, he is lovely, thoughtful male lead character. But,he is Tititular male lead character . We like to see him more in business action since the business is his father treasured one . Now. he is more like a love sick puppy character who follows female lead character aimlessly. There are some scenes (like Taepoong & loan shark) that bring the tension up ,but the writer is bringing down the tension back to zero to focus on other character. And the character is GMJ.
-Go Majin - The writer should tone down his arrogance & incompetence to a degree. It is a company member ,the viewers should root for. But she wrote the character with unbearable quality, nobody is interested in his redemption arc.
-Pyo father & son. Both father & son are a little dull except they are doing villain things because they are villains.

I am one of the few actually expecting Taepoong to do a proper business in Thailand, talking with wits , doing business with Thailand business tycoon. So 3 episodes used on GMJ and not improving on business front is a little frustrating to me.
It is a business drama. so I think everybody who watches this drama surely wants to see the success of Typhoon Company at the end of the drama.

I hope the writer's ambiguous side doesn't leave the future of company hanging open at the end along with the line 'Success will come as long as people are with us' etc etc.
Because we are into 10 out of 16 episodes drama, but it somehow feels like we only reach 4th or 5th episode of the drama.

I agree with you. If they can make the business aspect more exciting , thrilling & more wins than it currently is, I can definitely say more audience will tune in.( viewership rating wise). But this writer has decided to focus on characters rather than the background business plot. She is the first time scriptwriter so this is her best shot which she can manage currently.
So, I am finding my inner peace & settle with what it is,rather than what it can be more.
