Title Ye Cheng Fu
it was a fun drama but could've been better if they actually stuck to the main point - the matriarchal world.…
I actually think it's pretty good, they took it a step forward from the matriarchal society. Just like in our current patriarchal society, there are quite a few female heroes with great excellence and ambition and quite a few kind, soft men; in the drama too, there's a similar thing. For me, it gives more complexity and layers to the setting, making it more credible. My only complains will be the many gaps between the scenes and sometimes the story too, a much lesser-than-needed explanation about the matriarchal system of the Monarchy and how they filled up most of the soldiers with men, only the leading soldiers being the women (I think this is because of some contract that they have to give job to the many side casts, who mostly are men, so they couldn't replace them; but I really hope they make a second season and make the set-up more credible). The acting are very good in general. Both the male and the female leads, along with the supporting casts are very good.

Typical Cdrama trope, the FL will always have another man close to her for each and ever episode of the drama.in…
At this point, I can see you don't know the meaning of cheating. Neither do you know what is abusive, weak or pathetic. Or, you know those, but hear you want to just continue write more and more nonsense. Thank you, I won't entertain this discussion anymore. I hope you grow up one day, or you find the way to be genuine and honest.

We don't know everything about the FL and her Ex's relationship, not the important parts like how their life was, or, the part why she broke up with him (for the ML and his Ex though, this part, why she broke up, was showed). And, it's true the FL shares much more screen-time with the Ex, but that's work, calling the FL's character trash, abusive, weak or pathetic for that is pathetic. And yes, it is the pattern of many C-Drama scripts (I think that's the reality too, till some extent for the elite women in China, as China killed almost 2-3 million young girls, there's more than 1 man for one woman, and the females gets to choose from a much bigger sample space of men) to surround the FL with more than one love interests, besides the ML (i.e., creating a reverse-harem type of situation), but again how that makes the FL abusive trash is beyond me. Yes, it was ridiculous that the FL didn't get her own office in the 11th floor, I'm not sure about the situation of HR in a private law firm, but she surely could have brought that matter to her employers' notice. But that didn't force her spend her office time in her Ex's room, or, sleeping on his sofa. She wanted to learn, and he, her former mentor and the only reasonable 11th floor colleague apart from the bosses, was her only option. You can see how sexist the rest of her colleagues were from the discussion in her bosses' house, where they were saying women working is itself an anomaly, married women and women with babies should focus in their home and leave work, how women leaving the workforce would solve the unemployment problem and the child-care issue (without a care for what women want, or, if it really would solve the problem or increase the burden on the men more, making them resent women more), and how they called the FL a man-hater when she pointed out that married men also can be at a disadvantage when deciding between various things balancing their career and family. The bosses were out of reach, so the Ex was the only available option for her to learn. She fell asleep because she was tired from all the work, not because she wanted to attract the Ex or anything. To see it in a twisted way, and not see the practicality is really weird and hopeless. Again, you can't expect women to not stay in touch with the men in her workplace until and unless you increase the female workforce to at least 50% of the entire workforce. Did you see how all the mentors of the ML (the man taking his to Canada in his security firm, the man trying to get him in his company, his good friend who helped him re-join the workforce, and all the other mentors shown) were all men? Because most of the people, more so in the higher-up level, are men, so it's either the FL gets professional and spend time with the men in workplace (setting aside their personal relation) to proceed in the career, or, they leave their career or get stuck at a point and eventually get replaced or brought out of the workforce by their family because of no increase in their payment, or, they will save more money if they stay at home than what they will earn. Stop thinking in this untrusting way. If anyone is to blame for the ML's peril, it's the Ex of the FL, stepping over the boundary, he is causing harm to both his GF and the ML.

So excited to see the "gender role" reversal, but through comedy, humor and also an uniquely valid plot (although no historical women, but all the historical men were allowed remarry, but not the princess's husband). There will be angst too, and I love good tension.
Also, Rowoon and Yi Hyun are really cute :) Now really hope the plot doesn't get messed up like "Destined with You".

Kind of reminds me of Destined with you
It reminds me of "King's Affection". Didn't like "Destined with You". But, excited for this.

Person Yang Mi
Her dramas, at least the recent ones like "Legend of Fu Yao" or "She and Her Perfect Husband" are really amazing! She is a very good actress.

People are taking Strong Girl Namsoon too seriously, when it's suppose to be fun & unserious. Also it's a spin-off,…
I don't understand this people. After, "It's Okay to Not Be Okay", "King's Affection", "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and "Behind Your Touch", this drama has become my new ritual for the weekend. But, obviously, everyone is entitled to their own feelings, and whether to watch or not. But those who are hating without providing a reason are not fine.

I don't find what you claim in your first para true in general, in most of the K and C dramas both the male and the female leads have one ex, or, another man/woman attracted to them, and lots of dramas are created around that plot. That's the usual case, not that male leads are just have the FL in their drama life. Also, you are funny to say the only female the ML talks to is the FL, that too in most such dramas, that is simply not true. And, if the ML is treating the other girls "like dirt", then he is not even near to being an "wonderful" ML, I don't understand your definition.
But yes, I can agree that in most of the modern dramas at least (but I am not that sure of how unbiased that is, because I didn't watch most of the dramas, and I select dramas with nice male leads, and strong female leads only), there's a trend of the ML maintaining "propriety and boundaries with every other women in the drama".

To address your second para, I didn't find the molestation scene (and, you don't have to be polite to point it out, if it is there in the drama) in the first Ep, I watched on YouTube, I don't know if it was cut out there. The version of the episodes I watched, all three of them (the FL, ML and the SML) seems mature at the present timeline of the drama at least.

The FL, although falsely, but is indeed married, and although, nowhere she said explicitly in the drama, but her action showed that she was in love with the ML. So, she should not have any romantic feelings for the Ex. And, she doesn't. All she got is professionalism, and a friendship? Come on, they (FL, SML) were in a seven year relationship, and both of are grown-ups, not driven by hormones and impulses. So, to expect that they won't have any friendship between them, and to expect that the FL specially would behave like an absolute robot with the SML outside professionalism is really untrusting towards her, and even quite a bit controlling. Also, I don't think she knows the the SML has 100% feelings towards her, and even if she doubts it to be like that, can't we expect the Ex to not act on that feelings and be mature and loyal toward his GF instead of expecting her to compensate for that? Isn't that biased?

I don't have anything to say anymore if you are describing her as an "abusive trash". It's like you are calling a nice man a selfish prick.
And the ML here is not only nice, but is extremely mature to form his own thought process and feelings going above the societal trope of always doubting and controlling the women, always untrusting her and being either an insecure or a narcissistic prick and sucking the life out of the woman the man "loves" apparently. To not see that in the character, but instead view him as a push-over, or, as a "gutless coward", really shows internalized misogyny and misandry.

I didn't watch this drama yet, but what I personally understood from the comments is that the FLs didn't fully…
You should then watch the drama, and stop reading the nonsensical comments. But as I saw, it was mostly you in the comment section, spreading misconceptions about the drama, saying the FL is still hung over on the Ex, which she is not, and you are writing all these without even watching the drama. Really, people like you would do anything to give bad reputations to good dramas, why, I don't understand.

The ex works in her office, what is wrong with you people? how is she supposed to avoid that guy? but harming her career? and they are both mature, the female lead, male lead and the ex too. they are keeping their relationships as they are. FL and ML are getting close, and FL and her ex are colleagues.

The ML is a wonderful character, one of the fewest and best ML ever, above all the bs, male ego, and toxicity. He is an ideal bf, husband material, and above all, both the ML and FL are great persons.

The FL is not doing anything outside of work with the ex, are you that crazy that you think the ML should divorce her for that? In the workspace, most of the workers are men, specially all the higher-up people, a woman can't avoid working with men in their career. People like you are really illogical, if you are concerned about the women in your lives lessen contact with other men as much as possible, you should let more and more women in, to the workplace. But no, you like a woman dependent on you, but when they starts doubting you, or, turns possessive, demanding, bitter, intrusive or frustrated, you blame them. Wonderful.

i like these type of drama, i like how ML and FL are independant people, i like how ML becomes famous and has…
I also like the drama. But as they both worked hard, they both shouldn't got equally rich. And honestly, it's really an endless process if we measure a good life by how much money one makes.
