My parents had been married 55 years before my mom found out. So, you never know! She was such a happy person, until she found out. Then, their only option was divorce and more lying by my dad. It was so sad.

I totally get it! My mom went for a bad boy (basketball star). She loved him dearly for many decades, until she found out that he had cheated on her their entire lives. There was no way that I was going for the same, with all of its obvious problems. I went for a TSJ type. I didn't settle either. I'm so happy!

lol! I think I read somewhere that this novel was therapeutic for Tong Hua after her last novel. She wrote three great love rivals that maybe she herself and different people would love. I happen to prefer TSJ. If I had preferred XL or CX, oh my...

You're asking all the right questions again! Yes, it does affect the Princess status. Yes, it will be exposed. CX didn't seem to have concrete evidence at the time, but he was secretive about everything he knew. He ended up using it to make the Haoling King remove XY's Princess status, so he could war against him.

Yeah, I find it interesting that it's more fun for Tong Hua to write about XL, even though the ML is CX and the one who ends up with the FL is TSJ.

Yes, he had his wife murdered to prevent her from telling TSJ about the real father of the baby.

As one of the three great love rivals, XL has plenty of of his share of scenes throughout the story.

CX is not the end game. Although the ML (CX) in most romance dramas is the end game, he isn't in this one. The romance part of this story is a beautiful one, but it isn't the ML who gets the FL.

There are many other people who can respond better than I can. But, I'll just say for now that XL is a demon. He sucks XY's blood, because it has special healing powers for injuries, which he frequently has. He abuses XY because it's in his demon nature. And, his sad childhood circumstances reinforce his demon nature and make it hard for him to overcome them. He does overcome them eventually, when it comes to XY, because of love, etc.

My guess is that there will still be equal or more than equal screen time for XL vs. CX vs. TSJ. This is based on the book and XL being the author/screenwriter Tong Hua's favorite character. XL has gotten more screen time so far vs. the book. So, I imagine that it will continue that way.

If scenes get cut, then I imagine that they will be cut kind of equally between XL, CX and TSJ with more bias towards XL.

Tragedy is so Tong Hua, isn't it? Even her stories with happy endings have a lot of tragedy in them. I still can't believe how much I enjoy crying while reading/watching her storytelling and writing.

It doesn't seem like anyone is up for translating Once Promised (prequel to Lost You Forever for those who don't know). There's so much crying and heartbreak.

It would be so great if someone translated the revised parts of Lost You Forever before Season 2 airs (2019 version vs. 2013 version). I wish I could do it for everyone, but I don't know enough Chinese yet.

It would also be so great if someone put the leaked script for Season 2 on an English platform somewhere. Then, maybe it would be more convenient for others to translate the parts that are different than the book for everyone.

Tong Hua tends to write tragedies. But, this one has a happy ending for the FL.

I wonder if it were okay for first cousins to be together in ancient days. Because of my modern sensibilities, I automatically ruled out CX. I can't help it.
