I've read One Life, One Incarnation - Beautiful Bones. So excited that they are making an adaptation. But the story didn't have must details on the historical timeline, wonder how they will handle that.
I wish I could forget the whole drama, so I could watch it again. They gave every single character so much depth. It was so amazing to see these characters grow while facing so much heartbreak and suffering. The life lessons they learned from every event and every person they met meant so much towards how their thoughts changed over the course of the drama. Li Chang Ge learned the true meaning of forgiving and that peace of country is the most important . Le Yan become more confident and learned that there was so much more she could do to help her country and its people. Hao Du realized that following the rules is not always fair. MiMi GuLi who has suffered almost her whole life found people who cared for her, and learned what loyalty truly is. The list goes on and on. Not everyone survived till the end, so many sacrifices, but every death was worthwhile. The beautiful OST also did its part in driving deep the scenes in the drama and the emotions behind them. As for our OTP, Chang Ge and A'Sun are a well-matched pair, equal in every way. I liked all the secondary couples too, though not every pair ended up together. This drama is definitely staying high on my re-watch list. I will be back here soon.
Omg, that's what it is! I kept thinking doctor pra'ek, annoying second female lead with a thing for the doctor…
LOL..... the story seemed so familiar.. right? The uncle with crush on his niece.. that was the part that actually made me pinpoint where I've see the story before.
I kinda felt bad at first about the spying Xiao En did on He Tian Xing at the very beginning. But HTX really knows how to get back at Xiao En for that. He so got even with her. LOL .....Xiao En gave him the perfect idea of how to pursue her relentlessly at the very start of the drama. Drones. :D
Even though I knew this was going to make me cry....still watched it. I wish so so so much that the writers would have given Lang Zai and Xing'er a happy ending. Just them living a peaceful life in the wilds, growing old together, having kids. They deserved that after all the pain and suffering and sacrifices. ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ The wasn't a single moment of peace in 49 episodes where they didn't have secrets, guilt, responsibilities or death hanging over them. Generally I always check the ending of fantasy dramas and avoid the ones with death of main characters since I cant tolerate the sadness and I also checked this one as soon as the last episode was available. But this one deserved a watch after waiting for 3 years and watching the trailer for.....I have lost count how many times I've watched it....that song in the trailer is stuck in my head. So that was the drama.....*sigh*......so unsatisfied...but have to admit......it was good. Amazing acting, great story, loved the opening song.

Can someone give a spoiler if by any chance its platonic relationship? Might give this drama a go then.
