I really hate when anger is misdirected. Her cousin and aunt are a bit out of control with control. They know…
Agreed. I also think it's weird for them to feel as if she's safe as long as she doesn't remember (or pretends not to, living in a lie). What makes them so sure? It's illogic to me; she is a witness a.k.a. she is a threat.

I like Sakaguchi Kentaro, I really do. Believe me, he was one of the reasons I started watching this movie. Yes,…
I think it's been over a year and I'm still in love with this movie. I found it to be very realistic. The quietness in this movie totally worked because of the aestethics and the amazing acting. Like you said, at times the angst became suffocating. I read comments before watching that made me scared of it being draggy, but it was the opposite, really; it was over before I knew it.

And omg I couldn't agree more on your latter comment. The fact people loved him really shocked me. His character was extremely abusive and pathetic and the r*pe scene was sickening.

I really need to know; am I the only one who's in love with his voice? I could listen to him talk for hours lol.

Thanks for both of your messages! I love reading everyone's assumptions a lot, it makes the experience of this drama a lot more fun and I'm glad I caught up with it while it's still airing.

Actually, yesterday I found a preview for the upcoming episode in youtube. It did show Kim Ian being blindfolded and tied up, so my theory lost it's main focus already, haha. Also the only scene of the ml in that preview was him in the hospital bed, so he's not dead but I doubt he will be conscious during the ep. It showed mostly the other three leads and most interestingly: yi young going to the police. I checked and it's still on youtube if you search "i wanna hear your song ep 17 18" :)

I really do enjoy this show but the plot is really weak. The villains skipped from plothole to plothole and the revenge relied 99% on luck. The plot is nothing new either. Not to speak about the terribly timed and unfitting music. This show has made me laugh out loud more often than it made me feel sad. The acting and chemistry however is superb and what kept this drama together for me.

This is all just my opinion though, don't take it to heart. Enjoyment is always most important to me and I do certainly enjoy every ep. Maybe just not in an as epic way as i was expecting.

Also another thought. What if the FL was kidnapped so Kim Ian could've been killed alone? The hit and run seemed to have planned and she wouldve been in the way. They never showed that Kim Ian was the other person that was kidnapped. However she managed to get away, cutting the ropes she was tied up with with that knife and ran unto that field.

Then she accidentally ran into Kim Ian who didn't know what was going on and was looking for her. I mean, the way she ran with the knife pointed forward at about the same height his stabwound was (they teach you to point a knife downwards for a reason folks). Her knife was in her right hand at waist height. He was stabbed around his left waist. Then add the way they were lying down and both looked shocked, couldve pointed onto an accidental clash.

Then a few question remain:
1- Who was the other person that was kidnapped?
2- How'd she get the knife to free herself?
3- What happened after she accidentally stabbed him?
4- Why would the dad cover it up?

Then there's the scarred hand creep who claims to have seen her stab ian and was also at the place she was tied up. However it also seems like there is another person. I feel like the one who hit the ML in the latest ep was someone hired by that creep that just found out that Kim Ian had an older brother (thanks to the maestro). However, how often do you really change hitman?

Why does no one know Kim Ian has an older brother? And what relevance does him being a substitude teacher have?

Not claiming any of this to be true, it's just some of my thoughts.

Also since I've already written a whole paragraph i might as well add this...

Why the f did ML eat from the knife his brother was stabbed with. Maybe that was the only non-suspicious way to show her the knife but that was messed up. Also the fact he kissed her. She's the one you claim your dead brother loved. She's also the one you assumed to have killed your brother. Guy's got some issues lol. But what would a kdrama be without making it seem not as messed up as it really is.

But why is the title ''I wanna hear you song''.. what song? There doesn't seem to be any specific song nor have I seen any songwriter (or did I miss it?). Maybe it's just a translation issue, but perhaps a key element in the mystery is a song? I mean, it wouldn't be the first time they gave something away in a title.

Theories aside,

The two female leads are both idol actresses, but totally rocking their characters! And ofcourse Song Jae Rim and Yeon Woo Jin's acting is great as always. I would actually say YWJ has a rather sweet face and not so much that of a stereotypical stalkerish, mysterious, who-are-you-type of character but he's still pulling it off.

There's like a 10 year age difference in casting and likewise story, but it isn't awkward at all and you mostly forget about it. However I would say both leads look/appear younger than they're supposed to be... like 22 and 30 instead of 27 and 35 (not sure exactly how old the ml is supposed to be but im guessing something like that)

I love this drama so much. Its been a while i have been invested in the story of a drama so much. And reading…
omg i've only seen 3 out of 6 episodes yet, but I was also getting the feeling Kim Ian was the one trying to murder the FL.

She seems absolutely terrified of the ML when she's having those flashbacks, asking him to spare her. Ofcourse since they're brothers they must resemble eachother. Then there's also the citation of ''when does love turn into something distorted?'' which they made sure to repeat twice in the same ep.

The ML also said he was killed by someone he loved. Maybe it was a unrequited love turned obsessive from Kim Ian.

Lol i should just continue the eps before posting about theories here, but I got taken away reading your comment. Also love the profile pic and name hahaha, I miss louie!

Hello, can someone care to explain why did Nakama Yukie appear in this drama as a supporting role? I mean, ain't…
You see ''A-list'' actors in Japan so often take on second lead or supporting roles.. in dramas, movies, asadoras. Personally I really like this.

Lying about being married is bad, but... knowingly being a homewrecker isn't? I'm not even sure which one is worse honestly.

Also sis really is cheating on two nice and kind guys at the same time. Kenji and Fuuta are the real victims in this show! My heart is especially breaking for Kenji.
