i saw the cover pic on yt (ost) quickly and thought it was song hye kyo and jang ki yong, then find out they actually have an upcoming drama together lmao. at closer look they dont even look similar to these two, but it's still a funny coincidence to me ahah
i expect Jang Geun Suk oppa to belong in the Top 5 of this list because i see so many comments everywhere that…
I first watched jdramas, then after finishing Ikemen Desu Ne I wanted to see the OG, so... Yes! For me Jang Geun Suk was the first k-drama ML i've seen and I was surprised he wasn't listed yet :D

I just read upon it (couldnt find thát much) but damn.. his whole life seems a tragedy. Like he was just a pawn. I wondered why all his male offspring died within a year, then read even that was suspected to be foul play...
Some of these are disturbing because of the fantasy/fiction elements, but I also put some I found disturbing bc they showcase the reality of how brutal and distorted human beings can be
I do watch movies from korea, usually those based on true stories they tend to be really good and their old movies…
Ah yes I get what you mean. Even in a movie like Yurigokoro, things still feel realistic. It's something about the directing, acting and maybe aesthetics?
In the movies 'Alice; Boy From Wonderland', 'Monster' and 'Perfect Proposal', things get really disturbing. Both left me very affected, but I guess it still feels different. The movie that came closest with weirdness, yet realism is 'Pluto' I think.

my god i totally forgot this comment. You are a true legend, a true kind soul! bless you!
