it's not fluffy romance, it's longing? And I think we were all under the impression we'd get some fluff. I definitely…
ahh I had not actually seen any teasers or trailers. I wasn't even aware the show existed till it was on ep 6 or something and didn't start watching till ep 8 or 9 was out. I actually started watching because i saw sad pictures and i like dramatic shows. I didn't know it was the teasers misleading people, but now I understand the comments. Still I really find this show to be romantic, but as you said, in a longing way and not fluff.
agree!! and somehow the little skinship we had isnt even the most romantic to me (esp since their iconic hugs…
the small things are so precious! I really liked the hug though, because it was different. It meant the fl is aware he likes her, which means she is aware of the small things too.
Also middle aged cops like kang moo who look and act edgyare usually the most annoying characters to exist. Jang…
ok now that i've caught up: I don't hate his personality like I thought I would. In fact, he's quite funny sometimes.
Though he does now have blood on his hands, as I'm sure multiple people died (probably 13 or less w the weird ass prediction thing) because of his plan.
I do understand that doing nothing will get them killed too, and that it's necessary to try. But there's still time and he knows soo ho would do anything to save FL and he could've made use of that so idk why he rushed all of a sudden. The risks of this plan were too high imo. They really should've used the time since this wasn't a 'golden chance'-plan to eliminate as many obstacles as possible.
So: don't hate him, but i also have to agree he was incompetent w this plan.
I think it'll be a sad ending and they both die tbh or because of how chaotic the whole kdrama is right now they'll…
So that'd be option 3. To me, that is the most heartbreaking option. It's one where no one can move on. So i do high key hope that doesn't happen.
I think at this point the ending will be sad even if it is 'happy'. Even if they are to get out alive and together, it will cost someone, or probably multiple people's libes :( That will not be an easy thing to life with
Option 4 seems plausible to me. The whole drama till now shows that he doesn't want her to die/get hurt. He on…
but that would mean he dies, she lives right? Option 4 is the opposite. Or do you mean the 4th listed ending where they both survive, but not stay together? I'll change the numbering bc i get myself confused XD
After 5 eps, these are my preditions on possible endings, from most to least likely. Pls take it lightly I just rlly wanna write it down XD.
1a: 'Happy ending' Yes, a happy ending. This one may be shocking, but I actually think there is a solid possibility for a 'happy ending' where they end up together. How? I think there is a chance someone will help them escape to Germany. After all, both leads have a higher up who's vouching for their lifes. Berlin has just been mentioned so many times that I think it must play a significant role in the future. They'd have to fake their death and will lose their families and former life, therefore it's not completely happy.
1b: She lives, he dies This one I give the same chance as my first prediction. The show has given me a tragic vibe since ep one. There's so many people after him that there's many ways he might end up dying. Even if they escape to germany like in my first prediction, someone may still kill him. Personally I'd find it a bit corny if he ends up dying by protecting her (like taking a bullet or sacrificing himself as distraction). That has happened in so many dramas. I also hope they don't pull a City Hunter and leave you wondering if he is alive or if she's hallucinating. This is the second possibility where I can see Berlin playing a role. She will probably have to move away after saving a spy or for whatever connection her dad has with NK.
2: Both die If FL dies, he will die. I am 100% sure of that.
3: Non-tragic, but not happy They may both survive, but never be together. I don't really see this happening though.
4: She dies, he lives As stated before, if FL dies, he will die. I just can't picture him moving on and going back to NK after she dies. I would give this a 0% chance.

i am confused because i got mixed reactions hehe.
Recklessness and unearned moral high ground is something i REALLY hate and what I feared is his character. Maybe they just removed the smugness or is that bad too?

However, so far, I think a happy ending would strangely enough fit the best.
