jealous Hae Jun ? why? no triangle with main couple... right?i will start watch soon.. but if there is the triangle...…
There isn't a love triangle with the main leads. But HaeJun has always felt like a third wheel with everything. So when he finds out they are dating he feels hurt & like once again he is being left behind & abandoned. Not because he likes Juwon romantically, but because if they aren't all siblings what is he to THEM. They actually do a really good job of showing the complexity of all of their feelings & past trauma when it comes to family, and how they are working towards breaking that cycle.
Episode one. Our boy can't even tell that his online friend is talking about him. I'm dead. Does he think she's in a different city or something? She names the book and the exact situation that he was just on the other side of and can't connect the dots. I'm dead.
Anyone watching as it airs...have they kissed yet?
The main couple do not kiss, but the second couple(main couple in the novel) have two. Ep 17 & ep27. There is a forehead(?) kiss of the leads in episode 32.
This is one that could benefit from a season 2, but a season 2 isn't completely necessary. I would want either like a movie length special or 24 episodes tops season 2. This one actually had a much longer time in the real world than most in the last episode. But I still wish shows would have a full episode or episodeS in the "real world" to finish off certain stories. Did I still enjoy the ending we got? Yes, very much. That doesn't change the fact I would have liked to see her meeting her classmate and getting to know the adult him. And maybe finding a firmer footing in her professional life after getting a bit of herself back...she had stopped standing up for herself and others because of what happened to her father and found that side of her again in her "dream" so I would have liked to see a follow through.
Is duanwu, Yan zhijings sister? just started watching, so bit confused is duanwus mother, lady Yan? can someone…
Their fathers were business partners together. They aren't related except by family association. Like the steward of a family isn't necessarily blood related but would still have a title linking them to the family. At closest relation they could be cousins, but I don't think that's the case when they explained their past connection to one another.
Because in those days we didnt have social media to spread nasty rumours. Mob rules and get enough people on your…
Yeah, but to use the same technique repeatedly is either lazy writing or just lack of creativity. It's just that it keeps happening over and over again with very little difference in start to finish and not a single character other than named characters going "time out and lets hear the other side". Its on the same street....after repeatedly being proven wrong with ulterior motives at play. I need a different technique used to take them down is all I'm saying.
I will never understand someone hell bent on revenge for a family that treated them poorly. I get wanting to claim back somethings that once belonged to said family. But they treated their own child badly & then you find out they are also directly responsible for the death of 100s of people from another family(and others) with one known survivor left and are like "I need to finish what they started." Girl, sit down, get some help. You should be girl bossing your way to the top as you dance on their graves. You were never going to win daddy's love girly pop.
I was thinking the same. But I guess they are depicting the typical mob mentality here 🤣🤣
So comment ended up an essay...my bad. Yeah, I get the mob mentality pile on, but like this is the 4thish time it's happened in the show in the same town(on the same street) and all other times the side yapping the loudest was in the wrong so you would think it would give the town idk sooomme kind of pause to think it through. But they see a well dressed man and are like "I believe everything coming out of this person's mouth" I think there have been less than a handful of shows that depict a crowd having someone logically question what is happening in front of them that isn't a named character. Most of the time it's multiple people in the crowd with the same complaint before a whole mob of people chime in with support. Or multiple plants in the crowd to drum up negative sentiment.
But for some reason in this town all it takes is 1 to 2 men talking over the person they are accusing with little to no receipts to back their public claims before the whole street is like "burn the witch". 2 men harass and SA people in Clear Mind and then try to say they were threatened/hit by the Clear Mind workers...they were being kicked out of a private business for harassment. We've seen countless shows of people being tossed out of businesses & I'm just like...wth...I also get the fact that it's because Clear Mind is run by women that that issue was able to escalate, but still.
I just need them to stop using this "outside business call out" because it's getting repetitive and I just need more stealth moves being made by the bad guys, because they be acting like the CoolAid Man busting walls down. If the "good" guys are the only ones able to work in the shadows the game of cat and mouse becomes less interesting. But the pawns aren't as smart as the power behind them aka Prince Ying and Dock guy who was "friends" with DuanWu's father...i don't care what anyone says that man is sus as fuck and he killed Lil Shrimp. The one person who is aware enough to realize that something is a trap by ML is a woman, so of course she gets talked over and disregarded as "overthinking and worrying for no reason".
Apparently you can yap in front of any place of business in this town and lie and cause a scene and get your way without anyone in the crowd questioning your motives. I get it I do...but not ONE person is like "Humm this grown man is throwing a hissy fit in front of a group of strangers instead of going to the authorities with a complaint. Seems sus."?
If you think at any moment that FL looks remotely like a man...sure. But I have yet to see a single frame that does a decent job making her look masculine. There was an attempt to give her a sideburn sort of...but brushing baby hairs forward do not sideburns make.
That scene in episode 29 with Lusi and Tang Xiao Tian made me even more excited for Love's Ambition don't know how much their scenes will overlap as he'll be more Brother-in-law than love triangle 2ML(he plays the love interest of her sister). And Lil Shrimp playing her step-son. The gangs going to be getting back together again and again. (for promo/press) They starting filming Pearl Girl in Nov of 2023 wrapped in March of 2024. Started shooting Love's Ambition in June 2024, wrapped in September of 2024. Then immediately started the promo/press run for Pearl Girl in October. Love's Ambitions press/promo tour is about to be hilarious.
If the ending won't be to our liking we can just go ahead and watch Moonlight and pretend it's them after waking…
I'm waiting to watch that one as a chaser incase I'm disappointed in the ending or I just want more time with the actors later. I was like, don't do it, not yet.
The drama is almost ending. We basically don't know anything about the author Fu Zhou, except that he will be…
I'm sure it will be a 5-10 minute tops actual world running into each other type of deal like with Fateful Love, The Romance of Tiger and Rose and with Story of Kunning Palace. I hope this one is different as they knew going in that they needed to follow certain rules put into place by the censorship review board.
