The reciting of the marriage ceremony while they bow to her family's grave shows us that she has made the choice to be Lin Jinqi's true wife...not just in name. She has seen that he isn't exactly what she thought. Now it's her turn to slowly show him her real self.

This show is definitely more heavy on the soap opera acting elements, more so in the supporting and when main characters are performing for others. It's not really going for subtle. I'm still enjoying it, but it's not my favorite performance/writing style.
So can we all agree that the only reason the Emperor still has his head is because Lan Xiang warned her husband before he walked into an ambush and he sent his men to warn others? Cause yeah, no smoke or destroying of the armory. no one to get to palace to warn the guard/Emperor. no one to send word to the Lins in the capital that Rebellion was afoot. Lanxiang once again carrying the whole Lin family on her back and now she's added the Empire.

I dont think it will, but I could also see her staring down gramps with a "Remember me? Remember the family you threw away to save your own skin?" Im more curious in how Lin JinQi finds out who she is and how he takes that information in. I believe he was the person to find all her family members and give them a proper burial, but im not 100% on that prediction. (I havent read the source material)
