1)is there love triangle? if there how much deep it is ?2)when do leads will be together3)is there any breakup?…
I answered short on the first line and then added spoiler filled context. So if you don't want to be overly spoiled just read the first sentence after the numbers.
1) Sort of, but not really. The leads only have romantic feelings for each other, but there are others who like them. One is supportive(the one who likes Ying Tao), while the one who likes Jiang Qiao Xi is a snitch and a blockade for the pair.
2) They aren't together romantically until episode 21. They don't break-up after officially getting together. But is it is extremely clear by episode 9 that they are "it" for each other. (Honestly I think it was pretty clear in episode 1 that he was head over heels after she gave his name meaning) They have a bit of an ambiguous relationship from 9-14. Obvious that they like each other but still in high school and unwilling to make his mother's and others' assumptions about them correct.
3) No "official" break ups but many separations for long periods. 7years, months and the final separation lasts 2 years. His mother separates them for about 7 years. Ying Tao(FL) ends up in the same high school as Jiang Qiao Xi(ML) and there other friends. There is a reconciliation in ep 6, but by the end of the episode his mother once again works to separate them from each other. But they are able to secretly stay in contact. Ep 9-12 they get to be around each other before his mother AGAIN pulls him away. In episode 15(after graduating high school) they confess to each other but he lies to her and ghosts for 2 years(This is explained in episode 21). She finds him at the end of ep 19 and wants answers and to make sure he's okay. As an aside, HER parents love him and have always treated him like their own son. And are extremely supportive of not only there relationship when they are older, but they support their friendship throughout the whole show.
4) Yes, happy ending. They are happily together working in the their own fields(including the extended friend group all doing well in their careers). It ends with their marriage. Best part...he is extremely low contact with his parents. She talks to his father more that he does. And although there is some contact with the mother its limited to phone calls that barely last more than a minute.
We got a bed scene before we got a reunion kiss...that was a...choice (editors/director looking directly at you) I feel like I remember a few more kisses in the bts videos that were leaked. I guess they either got cut for time or censorship reasons. I should have realized when the 'G' rating popped up on Netflix that a lot would have been left out.

(My brain went fully tangent rant. I apologize. read this like you are listening to someone with adhd explain the hyper fixation hole they fell into late at night.) I started skipping once they killed the dog. I was like. SA trauma...okay knew that going in...I can work with that. But the damn DOG...I beg your finest pardon?....nope...NO...not today Satan. βπ»ππ¨
Then they were like, lets sprinkle in some MORE SA just incase you missed us alluding to her past SA from high school, want to make sure it's extra fresh. Oh, lets add in an orphaned sad little rich boy, who just got dumped by his girlfriend, with a dementia grandpa who has a misunderstanding with his wife(grand ma) of multiple decades and they aren't speaking...oh and for the cherry on top, lets kill the dog off just for shits and giggles. π
Also, absolute BS that THIS little shit was the one to actually find her in HK after she ghosted and then ran from the high school friend when he saw her by chance. Because of said dementia grandpa's connection to the university she was attending.
They took a story about hope and growing from past trauma into just a sad fest of weird jokes. HE(director/writers' version of Sang Yan) INVITED ANOTHER MAN INTO THEIR APARTMENT KNOWING SHE HAS TRAUMA AND LET HIM BE NAKED IN HER PERSONAL SPACE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE...Sang Yan would NEVER. Sang Yan was the one to make the no one but the two of us allowed in the apartment without express permission from the other first. He made all those rules to make her feel safe and the broke ever single one. Sir....no.
Wataru surely became a beast when he beat the manager. And he done it after sliding elegantly through the window.…
I was like, ain't no way Takeru is going an entire show without doing at least ONE stunt. & bam...he's still got it. really wanted to see him holding twins, but oh well. They gave us crumbs with Sumeyoshi's daughter so I will take that happily.
You know, people seem totally fine when the male lead is the one chasing the female lead like in TFF but not when…
I think you might mean internalized misogyny. Putting a man's feelings/actions above a woman's feeling/actions. Feminist attitude is more anything a woman feels/emotes/presents a man can also feel/emote/present and visa versa.
this 'pvspvcsm' comment... this same comment was here yesterday and the day before..for the last 3/4 days, There…
See the alphabet soup...block the alphabet soup...wax on, wax off. I sometimes sing 'Click Click Boom' (stray kids) as I click the profile the click the arrow next to follow and the boom block.

In the book they were no contact for the length of a plane ride....a PLANE RIDE. I will never forgive them for changing that and making the character backslide so much. Also never forgiving them for adding an entire second couple/story that was unnecessary. Don't get me wrong I like those actors and their performance but it wasn't necessary for Sang Yan and Wen Yi Fan's story. The production should have taken notes from the 'Hidden Love' production and kept the story to the leads. Also they made an alcoholic perve bum with a criminal record into a powerful business/house owner who can then get a job as a security guard of her building....i beg your finest pardon...
I need someone else to listen to Josh Gorban's "You're Still You"....cause I feel like the author also listened to this song at some point and was like yup. that's it...that's Ying Tao's inner voice.
Same. It invokes so much more meaning than Our Generation. Cherry Amber invokes warmth, color, sweetness, passion etc. Think of all the romantic scenes across film and media that are shot with an amber glow. Cherries are youthful, bright and sweet but can sometimes be bitter. Cherry and Amber are both soft yet hard substances. 'Our Generation' is too broad in meaning and could literally go with ANY of the hundreds of school age to young adult shows that have been aired. Side eyeing the hell out of the studio people for this one. Specifically the person responsible for giving shows their English title. Ma'am or Sir....it already had a perfectly good English title.
As an aside...if they put the word Blossom in one more show I might actually lose my mind. 'Nine Layers of Purple', 'Nine Layered Purple', or even 'Wisteria' could have been fine, but no...'Blossom'. Do you know how many times I've had to verbally specify "In the show...Blossom" because "In Blossom" is ALSO a damn show.
When TFF was airing same people who defending FL there now bashing ML hereπI just come here to see hypocrite…
TFF was rewritten by the male director to give it more trauma and extend a separation that NEVER happened in the source material. It was a weird choice for the development of the the characters & I'm still mad about it to this day. Also the fact they kept the exact dialogue from the novel without factoring in the 6 MONTHS verse the less than 5 hours no contact(she was on a damn plane TO HIM)....oh wow I am still truly not over this....Imma go touch some grass and brb.
OMG the double meaning conversations happening in episode 18 were so well done. Nice holds on expressions without over explaining. So the audience understands that they aren't just talking about poker. Good job director and good job actors. I still can't believe this is Wu Sheng(Yu Qiao)'s first performance. I don't know if he's been doing stage work or little indie things that wouldn't show up on here, but really looking forward to his future career if this is what we get right out of the gate. "You folded too early." Shots fucking FIRED.
Spoiler section: It doesn't matter what "hand" Yu Qiao has. It has never mattered what he has to offer Ying Tao romantically. Because Jiang Qiao Xi exists, it doesn't matter how he plays the "game" Jiang Qiao Xi will win and Yu Qiao will always lose. When JQX left "folded his hand" it didn't matter because rules don't apply to JQX for Ying Tao. Just because JQX folded his hand doesn't mean Qiao Yu suddenly had a winning hand, he was just the last one left in the game. Just because Yu Qiao is around Ying Tao doesn't mean she will love him like she does JQX and YQ KNOWS this. He can't stand to see Ying Tao in pain. He and Qin Ye Yun reall are so much alike. The way they would rather be in pain in silence as long as the person they love is happy.πππ
Okay...so I don't know how it was in China, but text messages and calls cost money back in 08. If his family was…
Yeah, And that's being 18. He didn't want her to feel the need to "fix it" or change her plans because his plans had to change. Communication could have been leaps and bounds better, but he is 18 trying to navigate a very adult situation and he doesn't want to tarnish her . I'm not sure he fully realizes WHAT his leaving does to her. I know he has to remember when she first came to the high school and those emotions. But he's 18 and there is A LOT happening with his cousin and cousin's family(that we don't know yet). He knows her well enough to know that she would uproot her life at that time if she thought it would help him.
He knew before anything went wrong that he needed to become his own person. I think he could recognize his co-dependance on Ying Tao and how that could hurt her in the future if he wasn't able to fully stand on his own. But then his whole world that he was building crumbled around him and he was the only one left holding the beams to support the only family who do love and support his decisions.
She better get a few chest punches in when they finally do reconnect. I would love to see some begging/apologizing on his part as well. Cause 18 or not...homie saw what 6 years no contact did to her and then he caved and kissed her for one selfish moment. I'm giving him this final bit of selfishness before going back to sacrifice his youth for his family(cousin who is kind and loving and all the good) things).
Yes, I run into most of the people I've dated because of my job and well, even though I live in a large city/college town it feels very small town most of the time. Literally just ran into another ex two days ago. We are VERY different people now. I barely knew myself then. Reading old journal entries later on, I realized I was trying to fit into an image he wanted not who I really was. He's happily married with a wife and kid. I'm on good terms with all of my exs. It's big hugs and OMG your little ones are getting so big.
All the different friends' advice and perspectives are sooooo freaking valid. They all just want Ying Tao to be happy and at peace. Qin Ye Yun 100% knows her girl would be on the first flight she could book and can't let her fall into a search spiral in the middle of her first year of university. She isn't being cruel or mean spirited...she is genuinely concerned for Ying Tao's physical and mental health and knows that Jiang Qiao Xi is Ying Tao's Kryptonite. Yu Qiao loves her and feels she has a right to know why Qiao Xi left her without a warning and stopped contacting her/all of them. He wants her to have answers...In the preview for episode 18 Yu Qiao is the one going searching. The fact he's willing to be the buffer shows that his care/friendship isn't conditional imo. Yeah he probably wants to hit the shit out of Qiao Xi for hurting Ying Tao, but he also cares what the hell happened to his friend. It's pretty much, I'll hide his whereabouts until I have all the information because aint no way I'm handing over a ticking time bomb to my friend and watching her self destruct.
Her dormmates are so sweet. They don't dismiss her love for Jiang Qiao Xi, but they do give her gentle reality checks from the perspective of someone a little older and aware of how the future goals can change peoples relationships. One even gives her a lovely explanation as to why he wouldn't want to be forgotten and how someone like the Jiang Qiao Xi, Ying Tao described would never forget her. The Edward Tulane reference had me in tears yall. They really are each other's touch stone. It's like as long as the other one exists they know that they themselves exist. So melodramatic, but I love it.
Not me having an emotional flashback to breaking up with my first boyfriend in 08 right before starting my freshman…
To add on, I feel like because I was the same age as the characters were in the year they are in I understand the mindset a bit more. It's not as frustrating to me as it appears some people are feeling towards decisions made by the leads.
Not me having an emotional flashback to breaking up with my first boyfriend in 08 right before starting my freshman year of University...like damn. I felt that "You're 18 don't talk about forever" in my SOUL.
