RandomThe light pattern of that Christmas tree bothers me so much. Bless her heart lol
i need a bts just to see if it was a man who put up the prop. because...no....just no way did a woman see that & go...perfect yes let's go with this design
the only thing that im complaining about is that girlie literally fell from a cliff in that one episode but didnt…
the suffocating to death with an oxygen tube still in the nose also didn't give you pause? Production was like "why take two seconds to remove the tube before putting the pillow over his face when we can focus on making the alarms as loud as possible in a VIP ward & have not one soul rock up to check on him instead..." 😑 😒
All they had to do was replace the Argan military scenes with a healing scene, wedding scene, working day and…
I had to FF most of the Argan scenes because i was getting second hand embarrassment from some of the production choices. Home girl rocked up with a scarf and I was like lets just skip whatever is about to happen here until I see them both on screen again.
Okay, not only was a man suffocated with an oxygen tube pumping air into his nose, not only did an alarm blare…
We saw a Korean civilian out maneuver a soldier during the recent protests while holding onto his cellphone in the other hand, because every able bodied Korean man serves in the military, and they have to regularly go back for training after their 2 year service is complete. I need the characters to start acting like who we have been told they are...specially trained hostage negotiator with special forces training on top of it. Don't tell me a character has skills and then when the time comes to showcase said skills nothing happens. Like some of the episode was really well done but yeah...i'll wait to see if we are missing any other context in the last episode as there is still time to show the in between point a and b. but...side eyeing the house down at the moment. Also because they want to have the viewer in suspense some of the editing choices have been questionable imo.
Okay, not only was a man suffocated with an oxygen tube pumping air into his nose, not only did an alarm blare…
I haven't watched the last 3 episodes of that show so I might be missing context. I remember it in the hunting scenes early in the show. But if it came up again I don't know what happened with it. (don't know why I haven't finished the show...I was enjoying it, but took a pause and never picked it back up. I think the 80minute run time per episode was getting to me.)
Okay production beef in spoiler tag below. If you don't want to discuss logic/logistics of the show do not open…
Okay, not only was a man suffocated with an oxygen tube pumping air into his nose, not only did an alarm blare in a private ward with no response but that ending scene with the gun made my southern brain go...i'm sorry what are you doing?
Okay so guns...and guns in Korea...a hunting riffle is not unlimited in it's fire power. You are in a large motor vehicle that could take him down before he even loads the round. Which there is only ONE. There is no magazine on that riffle. This is Korea, only military and police have multi chambered guns. The most a civilian would have is 2 rounds...and the gun shown is not a double barrel shotgun that would spray someone with bullet pellets. ML is military trained and specialty trained at that....he could have taken that gun from him easily and fired the round to make the gun useless. The physical impairments of the bad guy would make military service seem unlikely...no? Again thinking too deeply for what this is, but stay with me. Where would he have gotten weapons training in firearms? Again...guns are extremely regulated in SK and he only got his rich kid memories back a year prior and unless he was adopted by some other rich family most likely wouldn't have had access to hunting riffles. (correct me if the laws have some how changed.) I'm guessing this is going on A Shop For Killers logic with weapons training.
All production needed to do was show me that home boy had multiple bullets at his disposal. because that gun has been fired twice already aka no more bullets...so just a 2 second shot of him putting bullets in the gun would have me less critical. For all we the audience know there are no bullets in the gun and the 3rd shot we hear is the officers warning shot(all Korean Police guns have a blank first followed by live rounds to prevent accidental or rash shootings, if this has changed please correct me)
Please don't take this too seriously. The show is a silly goofy time, but that logic is rearing its head and I can't unknow basic gun safety as a Southern for the States.
Okay production beef in spoiler tag below. If you don't want to discuss logic/logistics of the show do not open the spoiler tag...stay in bless and continue to enjoy the show.
Can someone be sufficated if they have a oxygen tube(the nose kind) in? Cause even with a pillow over the face…
I don't know if it was so much just lazy writing as it was lazy production for that. Cause we've seen this production be detailed in the props before, but to not even take a second to put the monitor on her finger or turn the machine off/silence the alarm feature and move the tube out of his nose...director should have caught that and altered the scene if that's how it was written. (this type of scene has been done numerous times before and they chose 1980s daytime soap logic....side eye) I know I loved this drama for the unhingedness of it, but sometimes logic comes knocking like the Kool-Aid Man and my brain goes "excuse me...what was that?"
So, tell me! Who's worse? The haters or the blindfolded fangirls who always give at least 9/10 to everything,…
(Please read any all capped words as italics not yelling. Sorry for the essay but since you've been here since 2012 and I'm assume have noticed the changes within the last few years I wanted to expound on what I'm frustrated with. Spoiler tag, because again...essay. By bad.)
Blind haters who can't even follow the plot of a show they have a hate boner for are weird for camping out in the comment section. (you just finished this show so you haven't been seeing the same few users pop up in the comment section for months harassing viewers of the show)
I'm frustrated with people who don't understand that starting shows they know they will hate are weird as f*ck. If you(metaphorical you not literally YOU) don't like idol dramas, don't watch them. If you only like dramas that have top actors in them watch those. Why are they the ones to dictate how a fan rates something. I'm talking about EVERYONE who goes into a shows comment section with the sole purpose of tearing down a piece of work simply because they didn't like it without any actual thinking to back it up. Or responding to negative feed back with la la la's and "my oppa this" type of mentality that's juvenile and gross.
I'm NOT talking about people who watch a show and have actual constructive critiques about the project. I'm talking about the people who jump on comments of someone enjoying the project just to tell them that what they like is crap actually and they are stupid for liking it.
I don't understand why you are separating two different annoying groups like they aren't the same problem when they go into spaces that don't bring them joy.
This site is called MY drama list. Aka each person has a right to rate on THEIR scale of what they enjoyed about a project. There are other sites that have criteria for rating, THIS is not one of them and has never been.
My criticism isn't for the people who simply watched the show and didn't enjoy it for valid reasons. My issues are with the ones who are harassing people...this includes "fans" of projects as well.
I spent the airtime of this show making an in dept timeline tracker with explanations to references the show made because I am the same age as the characters and have first hand knowledge of the time period this show takes place in. I have also explained how the time travel worked within the confines of the show, and then been proven correct when the scripts came out with the writer giving an interview. I have used my critical brain to analyze multiple aspects of this show. So please do not try to say I am a blindfolded fan because the leads are attractive. I came back to the comment section because it's award season and I was looking for links to articles and videos, but instead found the SAME users that were harassing people in the comment section back in June that made me leave the space in the first place. Those are the people I'm talking about NOT people who are just wrapping up the show for the first time and finding it mid in comparison to the other shows they've consumed. Finding something mid when you consume high budget award winning written shows is normal.
When I rip into a shows writing or other aspect of the show I tend to do it under a spoiler tag so I'm not yucking anyone else's yum, so to speak. If a person is enjoying a project more power to them. But the fanatical people on both sides in the comments need to stop. I'm also not just speaking about this show. I've gotten into the habit of watching shows as they air because after the show is completed that's when the comment section usually turns. I love being able to answer questions from people that would like spoilers or have other inquiries about a plot or aspect of the production. It's just turned into the wild west within the last few years or so. Which I'm sure you've noticed being a member since 2012. (I'm assuming we are similar in age)
There was a show that I was enjoying until fans of it went into OTHER shows comment sections just to put the other projects that were airing at the same time down...it was weird behavior, and those are the people I don't associate with.
Question for nurses and doctors. In spoiler tag because duh.
Can someone be sufficated if they have a oxygen tube(the nose kind) in? Cause even with a pillow over the face shouldn't there be oxygen flowing through the little nose tube?
So, tell me! Who's worse? The haters or the blindfolded fangirls who always give at least 9/10 to everything,…
If someone finds enjoyment from something they have the right to rate it 10/10. Each person has their own measuring stick. Spending your time in the comment section of a show you did not enjoy is loser behavior, and not the cute loser behavior of a ML in a romcom. Rating a show a 1 just because fans of the show liked it en masse & rated it high because they enjoyed the show. If a person knows they don't like shows that would produce "fangirls" it's maybe best to stay away from idol or youth dramas in general. If you are not the target demo for the production why do you care that someone else found joy in it? If the show is giving harmful lessons sure go off king, but for the most part the "haters" in the comments need to go outside touch some grass & have an interaction with a breathing human.
Fr. I don't remember MDL being that toxic back years ago. Now, it seems like people are making bunch of accounts…
I came across someone's profile who took it upon themselves to create an account and rate shows because they found that the ratings for shows were too high. Most of these shows aren't think pieces or high art...the rates is for vibes at least for me when I'm rating shows that are more on the idol/youth drama side of things. I swear they had dropped over 800 shows...that's actually insane behavior unless you are being paid to review or give first impressions of shows for a living. Anytime I see a youtuber review something and not yuck anyone else's yum but give valid feedback on what worked for them and what didn't I'm doing a happy dance and following and engaging in the comment section. I just don't get people who continue to start shows with a premise that they know they dislike or have actors that they know they dislike...why are they wasting their time? I just don't get it. Don't get me wrong there are shows that I will rip into because it was a case of I was rooting for you and you somehow pulled the rug. But unless I completely finish a project I don't rate it. There have only been 2 shows that I've dropped and still rated. I also have different rating scales for different types of productions because again...a youth drama is not the same as a deep melodrama with veteran actors and crew backing it.
