I'm halfway through ep 2 and my baby fever is at its PEAK..... HOW DID THEY CAST THESE CHILDREN GODDAMNIT! How am I ever going to live through watching them grow up and then suffer? (I heard someone say there's a bit of angst later on)
On Ep 14 and not me waiting for a car crash or an accident to ruin their happy time together lmaoooo.... but I'm so glad this show is as sweet as it is. It has me giggling everyday to and from work.
Genuine question... I don't understand the rating for this show..how does that work lol? Like I know really bad dramas out there with an 8+ rating... and I procrastinated watching this one because of the slightly low ratings, but this is GOLD... taught me that I should never trust the numbers on here again.
I see a reverse harem tag, and I actively stay away from love triangles. However, I'm willing to give this a shot if there's a strong love interest for a good part of the show... can someone pls help spoil the romance part :')
I hear you, it's not really the ending many of us would have preferred. But I don't personally think he'll be…
Thanks for the recs! I've watched all of them except Lost You Forever and Goodbye my Princess. Heard the latter has a sad ending, so I'm going to skip :') and I'll check out the former!

Ohmygosh thank you so much for the links!!! I feel slightly more at ease now . Just realised how much I was thinking about this drama since yesterday lol.
And no doubt BL and LYX were just spectacular. Like I'm obsessed and I cry because I don't have words to describe how much I LOVE them, especially together on screen. And they're probably half the reason I finished the show, the other half obviously being to satiate the longing my heart had for a happy ending hahaha.
Additionally, since I take it that you're an experienced watcher of TTEOTM, could you please recommend me another show that could help me take my mind of this and become my new obsession?
Nooo what's that ending.... I didn't just watch 40 eps to see him being stuck in a stone forever? :'') Just have to let it all out,
Honestly speaking, I binge watched the first 24 episodes in 2 days, went on a TTEOTM slump for the next three months, and then binge watched the rest in the last two days.
And as good and beautiful as the first half was, the second half was just as repetitive and draggy. There were too many blood spits, too many tears to the point that I felt it was over-angsty. Don't get me wrong, I love myself some tear-jerking angst in a show. It makes me warm to think of the things a couple has been through to be together and its a good trope to have in a show this long. But that dragged on for a good majority of this show? It was just... too much.
And as much as the plot was simple to understand, it felt like TTJ and LSS/YXW just kept trusting and betraying each other every other episode? I get that that is the plot, but I thought, it just got too repetitive even though it was necessary to connect all the dots.
But apart from that, LEGENDARY acting by Luo Yunxi as expected. That man knows how to cry and show pain which worked in his favour for the show. Bai Lu... she was meant for that role. The role was made for her. Gorgeous CGI and music. Literally everything about the show was perfect (obviously except for the amount of repetition in plot and angst), except for the last five minutes that could have been different... (my personal opinion. ppl might be happy with it idk).
How... is this a Japanese drama...? Like was the production house Japanese...? Or maybe the director? I'm a lil shocked to see it on MDL lol that's all.
Watching this was like having sunlight gently blanket me in a bubble of happy warmth during a cold dawn. I don't know how else to put it. It's simple and perfect in every way possible.
it's not bad in the general sense, but here, the female lead is barely 19 when they get together which makes it look like the FL is naive and innocent and that the ML is in a position where he is more dominant ... which is why it became an issue later on in the show.
How Sangzhi junior met chen zhe yuan directly? Is my question. I don't see any difference in face when zhao lusi…
When they met for the first time, Sang Zhi was in 8th grade so around 13 or 14 years old? and Jiaxu just entered college so he must be 18.... when they meet again, Sang Zhi was in Grade 11 and 17 years old so Jiaxu must be around 21.
A 14 year old undergoes puberty and hence, when she's a 17 year old, they gave the character an older actor whereas for CZY's character who jumps from 18 to 21, he obviously doesn't undergo as many changes and hence, they just changed his hairstyle a bit.
LEE NA YEON YOU FUCKING BITCH WEKJASHDJDFSBNNMDSBDS I JUST WANNA THROUGH HER OUT THE WINDOW BUT GODDAMNIT SHE'S NOT REAL AND SHE'S NOT HERE AND ITS SO FUCKING FRUSTRATING I HOPE SHE DIES VERY VERY SOON
I genuinely want to know.... is the military in South Korea as brutal to enlist in as it shows in the show? It is freaking devastating if it's even just half as bad...

Dude was very smart.... until he wasn't anymore lol
