Who wants to bet that the Head Director for the jewelry ad is Ji Woo's sister?

It would explain why Seo Joon was staring at her in every scene in which she appeared. He was staring at her even before Ji Woo showed up and it turned out he knew her. Seo Joon must have been staring cuz he thought she looked familiar somehow (ie, had a family resemblance to Ji Woo). After all, he could not have been staring cuz he was attracted to her. We know he is already in love with Ji Woo. My money's on her being Ji Woo's sister.

Why indeed? Is there logic to love? Relationships are messy in real life, otherwise there would be nothing to…
Thank you for a good reply to my question. Because it was hard for me to wrap my head around the attraction to Ji Woo. It seemed as if Ji Woo only showed some warmth and appealing personality traits AFTER he already hooked up with Seo Joon in the final episode. But he showed no attractive qualities for the hook up to have happened in the 1st place. That's why I felt it defied belief. Well, he did show a lot of dignity in how he handled his pal who wanted to blackmail Seo Joon. And I thought that Seo Joon would be attracted to Ji Woo's quiet, stoic dignity. So I grant you, Ji Woo does have that going for him.
WHY DOES HE LOVE THIS ASSHOLE CHEF???

"Blueming" is my #1 fav BL, with "Where Your Eyes Linger" not far behind. But "To My Star" is my least fav of this director's 3 BL's. Hell, it wouldn't even make my Top 10. Why? Well, because Seo Joon's attraction to Ji Woo was utterly unbelievable. Let's compare the 2 men.

Seo Joon is:
rich
famous
talented
handsome
friendly
charismatic

Ji Woo is:
not very attractive
so broke he needed to live in a friend's house
couldn't be talented if only cooking at a pal's dinky cafe
uptight
a total dick who cannot get along with people

I was hoping the 2nd season would give me a reason to find this relationship more believable. Alas, Ji Woo is an even bigger dick than in season 1. He takes off with a 3 word note saying "Let's end it." And gives no explanation. When Seo Joon finds him after a year of obsessively searching, Ji Woo says rotten things about how he hated the way Seo Joon gritted his teeth in his sleep. I'm sorry, but when an unattractive loser tells a gorgeous movie star a shitty thing like this, the relationship defies belief. At this point, I am watching and thinking, ok, so Seo Joon loves Ji Woo not because there's an actual reason to love Ji Woo, but simply because the screenplay told his character that he's supposed to love him.

Can someone give me any other reason for why a nice, friendly, successful man would love this asshole?

I want to see Vegas unwound and unhinged and completely devoted to Pete.
Agreed. But there are only 5 episodes left and they still have so much to unwind with the primary plot that I fear we are not going to get as much as we want from the Vegas/Pete subplot. After all, it has to show Vegas torturing and then slowly falling in love with Pete. How can they do this all in the time that's left? Rather, how can they do this in a way that's satisfying? I have a feeling we're gonna be let down with the Vegas/Pete subplot.

That was the first that was cleared in the episode ....that after he was shot ...the Italians saved him and kept…
Even if the Italians saved him, the plot point still makes no sense.
Because when one shoots to kill, they go for the head or the heart. If they had only shot Tawan in the shoulder or something, they would have known it and shot again to ensure he was dead . If this were realistic, they would not have stopped shooting until Tawan was positively dead.

I cant even focus when hes on screen
We finally got lots of him on screen in this episode. But they still have not begun the plotline of him and Pete. And we're going on episode 10 of a 14 episode show. This tells me that they decided to give minimal time to this plotline, which was a real mistake. He's the most interesting character in the novel and show. Vegas is a layered character with contradictory personality traits, and that's what makes him interesting. I really wish the show would give us more of him. But hey, I heard there will be a sequel just about him and Pete. Is that true? Was there a book sequel on those two on which it will be based?

OMG, I only just now realized who you were! Dang, there I was thinking it was rather refreshing to see a critique of the show on this page from a fan, because I thought that only you and I ever do that. But now, alas, it turns out that it's STILL only you and I.

Wow, it took courage for you to critique this show on a page with such rabid followers. I am surprised you have not been bludgeoned with angry replies yet. As for me, I agree with some of what you say, and disagree with others. But I am most in agreement with your final point, because I am also bored with K/P's love scenes by now.

They became a couple episodes ago and we get it already. At this point, we need a serious injection of Vegas in the narrative. I don't care if it's Vegas and Porsche, or Vegas and Pete, just give us a jolt of energy using the truly interesting character of Vegas. Instead, what did we get in this episode? More schmaltz with those bland little college kids, Porchay and Kim. What a way to waste valuable narrative time.

I did not mind the Tom Cruise's Risky Business dance, but with only so much time to tell a story, I could've done without it. It's one of those instances when the show wants to be cute. However, such cutesy scenes also make the show uneven when in a following scene we're suddenly asked to believe that this is a guy willing to kill in cold blood as Mafia men are inclined to do.

In all, the only way to enjoy this show is to understand that it is NOT a genuine Mafia show. It's a light hearted romp with some good chemistry between the leads, hot men, and amusing scenes. As for amusement, I actually don't mind Tankhun the way you do, because he has not been coupled with anyone so we can still read him as just a lunatic instead of the gay stereotype of a screaming queen. The biggest laugh I've gotten in this show was when Porsche got him watching porn and he asked, "Will she die?" The actor had impeccable comic timing in that scene, as he does in most of his scenes. So I must disagree with your dislike of his character.

I hated the show in episode one when it was trying to be a Mafia show cuz it failed on that count, but decided I liked it in episode 2 when Tankhun showed up because that's when I realized the show is not asking us to take it seriously. Once I realized the show intends to be lighthearted, I liked it. So just watch it in that frame and you'll have a good time with the show.

Ok, I laughed out loud when Tawan and Kinn were reminiscing about old romantic times during their Korean vacation and Porsche is standing in the background dying, cuz Kinn was actually smiling over the old memories.

Ah, ok. I only looked when Porsche went to the table, not when Pete came in. Ok, then it does win for all time best product placement!

Other people mention that, but when I looked again, I did not see them show the bread package and name. You just see the slice in his mouth. It would've been a winner of best all time pp if I could see the brand name!

WHERE IS VEGAS?

He was not in even one frame of today's episode. And he's the one I want to see at this point. I am impressed by the character he plays, by his real life, wicked smart self, and by his beautiful, lithe, slender looks. I just wanna see him.
