Everyone is entitled to their own opinion - what would you rather do? Block ranking it or reviewing it till it…
You asked if I would block ranking until a certain number of episodes are aired. Yes, I would. In fact, MDL has a feature that asks how many episodes a person has seen, so they already can do this if they wanted to.

Please consider that watching 1 hour of a 14 hour show is tantamount to a movie critic watching 10 minutes of a 2 hour movie and writing a movie review. Would you trust a movie review if the reviewer had only seen 10 minutes of the movie?

I think for no. 2, instead of being a director, he wanted to be a photographer, since he said he likes people…
But why would he have to whisper that? I thought photographer too, cuz he took a photo of Si Won that their professor had praised before, but then I thought, wait, why would he have to whisper this?

WHY IS MDL ALLOWING RATINGS FOR 1 EPISODE OF A 14 EPISODE SHOW?

When you see a 9.4 rating for merely 1 episode of a 14 episode show, then you know people are jumping the gun, and the rating can't be trusted. Many things can change in the next 13 episodes of this show.

For instance, plot holes may appear, or plot points may turn out to be predictable instead of surprising, or in some cases even illogical. The pacing may slow down. Characters may be introduced who will be undeveloped. Maybe the climax will be underwhelming. Or maybe everything will be perfect. Who knows what may transpire in the next 13 hours of this 14 hour show. That's the whole point. We do not know yet. That's why it is absurd for MDL to allow ratings & reviews based on merely 1 hour of a 14 hour show.

Okay. I come out with these theories.1. I can sense a glimpse of connection to the title when they did a blue-silhouette…
Thanks! I was also thinking a sequel might explain some of this. Because otherwise it's crazy for a director to have a character whisper in another character's ear in a way that leaves the audience 100% clueless.

Be sure to watch Korea's "Cherry Blossoms After Winter" which is airing right now, and has 6 of the total 8 episodes already out (it's on Viki, YouTube and BLparadise). It's a wonderful show! Just as good as "Semantic Error" but a very different style. SE is energetic and humorous. CBAW has a quiet, tender vibe and you need to be patient and sit with it because it starts slow but gets better and better (and better!) as it goes.

I really liked it until the last episode that got me confused, like...
Go back and you'll see that he laid down in bed. Then the next scenes of his parents in the kitchen and Si Won outside were all shot in a blurry, soft focus -- thus indicating that they were a dream. It was what his fantasy of Si Won smiling, forgiving him and kissing him. The next morning, we see Si Won at his own house and we know it's reality cuz it's no longer blurry, soft focus. Moreover, Si Won is reading the text that Da Un had sent to him right before Da Un fell asleep the prior night and had that dream (Da Un had texted: "Are we seriously over?")

QUESTIONS

1) What is the meaning of the title, "Bluemings"?

2) What did Da Un whisper into Si Won's ear toward the end of episode 11 after he'd said that he realized he liked shooting people more than stories?

3) The guitarist on the beach in the final scene had the initials "DBW" on his guitar. A comment below said that this meant the guitarist was the person whom Do Ba Woon likes. But where in the show did it state that Do Ba Woon liked a guitar player?

Yes, I am loving this show. Which is why I wish they had 10 episodes, instead of merely 8. Either way, we need the university part, because if it had ended with them at high school when they'd just confessed their love we wouldn't have had a chance to see them behaving as lovers -- which is so cute!

Think about it, before university, TaeSung was still being pretty stiff around Haebom. The best aspect of the university part is how now that he has Haebom's love, he acts adorable with him!

A big problem is that these Korean BL's are so darn short. Because you are right that it happened too fast. You see, in the manhwa there was more time given to TaeSeong suffering with guilt, and contemplating how he needed to make it up to Haeboom. There was also more time given to the mother witnessing TaeSeong shoving Haeboom, and her angrily reprimanding him for it.

But with only 20 minutes per episode, the director was forced to condense all of this into about 4 minutes, which wasn't nearly enough time to adequately develop the action that had transpired. I truly do not know why these Korean shows are all so short.

Ok, so I know we all re-watched the dream scene kiss. But who else re-watched the scene on the college walkway where Yong Hee kept puckering his mouth at TaeSung like a blowfish spitting water at him? So freaking ADORABLE!

it's something else entirely between taesung and mom - but i don't think they have the time to sort it out within…
If they cut out all the other stuff from the manwha, then they will have time in the final 2 episodes to resolve this storyline with the mom.

I'm dropping this, really disappointed. I still can't forgive TaeSeong.
The character was portrayed as a flawed human being who lost his temper. All human beings lose their tempers. In terms of fiction, I think that the author put this scene in the story because she wanted to show the character suffering with guilt afterward. For example, Taesung sat on his bed afterward and said to himself, "I care for Haeboom so much. I can't believe I tried to force him to say he liked me."

I teach college literature and writing, and it's common to write a scene where a character behaves badly in order to get the plot to unfold in a certain way. In this case, when Taesung lost his temper, it subsequently moved the plot to make Haeboom start to avoid him. This gave Haeboom the space he needed to be alone and think.

It also made Taesung reflect on his own poor behavior. He realized that you can't force a person to respond the way you want. The person has to come to you on their own terms. Which is exactly what happened, because when Haeboom came to Taesung later on, it was on Haeboom's own terms, and by his own choice. In short, the character of Taesung behaved badly, but it was a necessary part of the plot's development. If you try to view it as an element in how fiction is written, then you'll have an easier time accepting the character :)

It was cute, but again the bitch female character, at least it's solved fast, then at the end I was laughing when…
I know a lot of BL's have a bitch female character, and we are all tired of this trope, but at least the bitch in Cherry Blossoms had a very brief role. In fact, what I like about Cherry Blossoms is that girl with the much, much larger role is a 100% positive presence. Ji Ha is a great girl!

Your comment was the first time I ever heard of Blueming. After I read your comment I went and checked BLparadise, and found it there. It's strange, because it was not there yesterday. Yet now it's not only there, but all 11 episodes are there at the same time.

I wonder why it didn't air one episode at a time. Don't get me wrong, I am glad all 11 episodes dropped at once. Because it drives me nuts to have to wait a whole week for these Korean shows when all their episodes are so insanely short. I am just curious as to why this show aired all its episodes at once when this never happened with any other Korean BL's. Do you know why?

The director actually toned this down from how it was in the manwha, where Taesung actually pressed multiple kisses…
Well, it's not that I am even judging Americans who stream BL for free. Rather, I was making the point of how silly these American Social Justice Warriors sound when they expect Asian shows to cater to their demands to be less "toxic" when they don't even contribute to the Asian BL's profit margin.

For example, think about all those SJW's who ranted about how Gu Ha was a "rapist" and wanted people to boycott the show. Well, the production company who made Addicted was like, "Really? Go ahead and boycott it. We make no money off you Americans anyway."

Another example is Japan's 2021 BL, "My Beautiful Man," which little American girls were calling "toxic" and "problematic." The Japanese production company didn't give a shit what these American girls thought because the show was a massive hit in East Asian countries. And it is these East Asian viewers who generated all the revenue for that show.

At any rate, I don't judge people for not paying to stream a show, or not buying tie-in products. I think it's fine to get shows for free on youtube. I only judge them when don't contribute to a show's revenue, while actually having the nerve to demand that a show cater to their cultural specifications. See what I mean? It's totally obnoxious.

Wait, I read the manwha, but now you have me thinking that I missed something???? Because I don't recall that the team leader at their office succeeded in seducing Haeboom. Didn't he TRY to seduce him, but Haeboom was so deeply in love with Taesung that the team leader's efforts to seduce him totally failed?

The way you worded it above, it sounds like the team leader successfully seduced both Haeboom and Taesung. You wrote:
"The office team leader who seduced HB and later turned to TS and seduced him at the hotel."

Does that mean the team leader really succeeded in seducing Haeboom and Taesung and I somehow missed it? Or am I just misreading your how you wrote it????

I agree that the sweatpants are a bit much. But based on the open mouthed kisses from episodes 4 and 5, I don't think the director is avoiding portrayals of intimacy. Hence, if he's showing them fully clothed in bed in the early days of their cohabitation, it could be that it's because they're both still virgins and, as such, would still be fearful of having full on sex. I could see it taking a couple of weeks, or maybe a month or two before 2 virgins go all the way.

Now, I have no way of knowing what's going to happen in the final 2 episodes, but I really hope the director has at least one scene implying the boys had sex. I'll be very disappointed if there's not. And it's not cuz I'm into sex scenes for the sake of sex scenes. Rather, it's because such a scene would add to the realism of the characters' relationship.

LOL, the Chinese! They are so homophobic that their movies invariably punish a gay character by killing him off by the end. In fact, just last night I watched 2001's "Lan Yu" which killed off the gay hero. The director was so scared of the ragingly homophobic govt, that he had to shoot the Bejiing scenes in secret. It was based on a novel from the 90's, and the novelist was so scared that he had to publish it anonymously. He made no money off it either, because he posted it anonymously on the internet. He just wanted people to finally read a gay novel. It was the first ever gay novel people had ever read in China, and became a mega, monster hit. The movie is not perfect, but it's very romantic. Every BL fan should see it because both the novel and the film were groundbreaking and reached a record numbers of readers and viewers.
