You do realise that in real life gay relationships are the same as straight ones and it is not all about kissing?…
I agree that the pushing was not rape. I have seen it enough in Chinese BL's to interpret it as rough sex. It's just that it comes off worse in hetero romances because, as you say, the woman is physically weaker. But with these 2 guys the struggle was far more emotional than physical.
What interested me was not the sex itself, but the fact that the one who was chasing a girl for half the show should be the one who is more openly aware of his male-on-male attraction and the one who aggressively goes for it.
1) When Dome, Vee and the drunk friend were walking together, why was Dome telling his drunk friend that he "adores" Vee? Didn't he just expose their relationship? Now, Dome did not say Vee's name, but he said all this in direct reply to the friend's having just asked about Dome and Vee's quarrel. Hence, Dome is clearly talking about Vee. Why? Did I miss something?
2) Why is Saen asking Aii to be his boyfriend when they've already had sex and are already planning to have a long distance relationship? Isn't the "boyfriend" part already presumed? It was certainly presumed by the audience.

To your point, I can think of 2 excellent BL's that had no kiss at all -- Cherry Magic, and Precise Shot. Precise Shot was a censored Chinese BL, but it was clear the boys were in love, and one did not need a kiss to show it. So yes, it is possible to make a romance w/o kissing. Although to my point, it's far more common for romances --both hetero and homo -- to include kissing as the physical manifestation of abstract love. We don't need it for a romance to work, but it is common.

In all fairness, hetero romances always include a kiss and there's nothing wrong with expecting that. Even the most chaste romances from the 40's and 50's, with squeaky clean actresses like Doris Day had a kiss. We don't slam viewers for wanting to see a kiss in a hetero romance, so why slam them for wanting to see it in a homosexual romance?
Spoilers: (But its all so predictable that they're not really spoilers anyway.) Wow. Episode 7 is certainly a…
Yep, and episode 8 is not much of an improvement, cuz it explains nothing about that bizarre "I love you" from LXL to YYZ (I guess he was just messing with YYZ). And episode 8 is full of memories -- which is to say, they just spliced in pre-shot clips. Repeated memory scenes, plus the intro music, ending music, and a repeated opening scene of all 4 boys on the sofa that wasn't even a memory but poor editing, there's less than 15 minutes of new material.
Well, he told him he was in love with him, that's pretty nice, isn't it?
You know, I was gonna comment on that. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought he was just messing with him. There's the way he smiled afterward, like it was a big joke. Now, on the one hand, love would explain the antagonism. But do you think it was truly intended? I gotta watch it again. So much in this series is just off kilter.
I am annoyed by how mean they all are to that poor kid, Lu Lue lol. He's trying soooo hard to be their friend -- especially Lu Xiang's. Every week I wait for them to be nice to him, and it doesn't happen.
Yeah!! It may be nothing special but if u watched early episodes then u will know how the word `hyung´ is so…
It's all clear now. Thank you to all! Viki had me confused cuz they used his name, and the sounds were similar to the way Hyun is spelled. But now I rewatched and yes, he hangs up the phone right-quick. lol
Doesn't hyung just mean little brother? Why is everyone commenting on this? Did I miss another level of meaning? Also, when does he say it? I am watching on Viki and don't see it.
Hi I agree with your list entirely except for one !! I think love by chance was what it was coz of AePete..yes…
OMG, that blonde one was so hot! I forget if it was Win or Team, but he's one of them. He had angel wings tattooed on his back and just this great smile.
As for Tin-Can, yes Tin started off as a douche, but , for me, that was the point. Because Can softened him up. At any rate, I suppose it's a matter of preference.
I think people love DomeVee and are very intrigued by their chemistry and appeal, but they are in fact the 3rd…
Yep, definitely a matter of personal preference. Although I think Dome/Vee are getting the most attention cuz it's controversial and controversy always gets more attention.

I bet the producers are kicking themselves, cuz all the attention, all the youtube clips, and all the interview questions are directed at Dome and Vee. Yet the show's already wrapped and they screwed up by not giving Dome and Vee any airtime. This often happens with secondary couples. Indeed, I just posted a comment about secondary couples stealing the show w/other BL's in my comment above. It happens a lot.

True enough, but TinCan were so popular they got their own sequel. I mean, they had to get a sequel to compensate for that awful ending that had Tin crying in the shower. WTF was that? Oy! Also, doesn't "tin-can" sound so funny together, in ways the Thai's cannot know, like a tin can of food? lol
So many people are loving the secondary couples Saen & Aii, and Dome & Vee better than the main couple. It got me thinking of how often this happens in BL's. Indeed, I just watched Make it Right, where Book & Frame took over the show. Who else can we add to this list? So far I have:
Saen & Aii -- You're My Sky Dome & Vee -- You're My Sky Book & Frame -- Make it Right Jack & Shorty -- History, Trapped Tin & Can-- Love by Chance Pitch & Bank -- Golden Blood Chris & Jeno -- Second Chance
Vis-a-vis "You're My Sky," if you like Fah & Thorn, power to you. I'm not looking for an argument. I'm just having fun with secondary couples whom I and many other happened to enjoy more. When I say "many others" I am referencing the fact that Saen and Aii and Dome & Vee have more YouTube clips made of them than the leads (Dome and Vee have the most), and all the interview questions are for the actors playing Dome and Vee, so it's not just me. :)
Now that they've got "the big game" out of the way I hope they'll keep focusing on the relationships and the life…
Wait, do you mean "Secret Crush"? Cuz that's gotten low ratings too. But I don't really care as it's not a serious show with kick-ass cinematography as this one is. One would think it would score better on cinematography alone. The lighting is always capturing the golden shafts of sunlight just so!
Also, what is ITSAY?

I'm sure I've missed some. So, what did I miss?
