I suspect it was the guys who didn't want to kiss cuz there was a kiss in the Bonus chapter of the manhwa and the Asians follow source material exactly. I mean they follow mangas/manhwas panel by panel, so there has to be a reason they did not follow that bonus chapter in this manhwa. As for homophobic, maybe that was too strong a word, but they were definitely uncomfortable with male-on-male kissing when a professional actor should be able to lose himself in a role and forget his real life identity.

I thought there was more sexual tension and signs of love in the Chinese censored BLs "His Cat" and "Precise Shot" than this. It was not just the absence of a kiss, but the sexual tension overall that was missing.

I can't think of even one hetero romance where the couple does not kiss. Even squeaky clean 1950's Doris Day romances had a kiss. Can you name a hetero romance that does not have a kissing scene?

All the Korean BL's have had a kissing scene. They might have been bad kisses, but they were there nonetheless. It's a couple of Japanese BL's that lacked a kiss -- Shiny Smile, Cherry Magic, and Kieta Hatsukoi. There also wasn't a kiss in the J-BL "His" but it worked in that one cuz they were little boys only 16 yrs old. As for Cherry Magic it was the tall actor who refused to do the kiss. He advanced his career with a gay story cuz he was suddenly very well known, yet he didn't want to do a gay kiss.

What is Unforgettable Love Story? I've seen all the BL's but never heard of this one.

The absence of a kiss comes off as exploiting gay shows to advance your career while too homophobic to do a gay kiss.

Holy shit! They have to apologize, I imagine because as you said the agencies make them. These agencies own the idols, and the idols work for the agency whereas in Hollywood the agency works for the celeb. I think the way idols are owned accounts for some of the misery which leads to all the idol suicides. At any rate, thank you for replying.

I also liked the dialogue, "You can try having a (one-sided) crush on me a little longer." It was cute because there's no way Eddy believed for one nanosecond that the crush was "one sided" lol. He knew Ian was pining for him just as much.

Yes, I agree that the boys in CBAW got less sexual once they moved in together -- which is the opposite of real life because in real life they'd have gotten more sexual once they shared a bed, not less. Yet Taesung was suddenly doing baby talk (which felt so phony and made me cringe), and little closed mouth pecks. I read the manhwa and man, it was sexy so I was disappointed as well.

You see, I left a negative comment for "My Tooth, Your Love" when everyone else was praising it. So they all started shitting on me and I finally just left the page. Funny, but one of the girls said, "Oh, you're the only one who hates it." I know! I no longer bother looking there. Instead, I go to where the rating appears in that block high on the page and right beneath that it says how many reviews there are, and then I click that.

I'd love to know how they calculate ratings too. Also, I did not know that our age was factored in. I do not recall giving my age. Or did MDL ask when we were born when we signed up?

The comments are 100% praise. There are only 5 reviews so far (including one I just posted), but all 5 gave it a 9.5 rating. Nevertheless, the overall rating for the show is only 7.9. Meanwhile, "Unintentional Love Story" is sprinkled with negative comments yet it's rated 8.0. At this point, I don't merely disagree with MDL ratings, I don't even think they're calculated accurately.
