Outstanding performance, I got so immersed I forgot they're actors and actresses.
The messages are nice, the backstories are detailed well, the comedy is great, and the ending is realistic and fulfilling.

There are two issues though.
Firstly, the foreign teams didn't look like homeless people at all.
And secondly, everyone played way too aggressively without any fouls or penalties, I guess they're going for amateurish rules like children, but then their opponents look like professional players.. The visuals give conflicting feelings.
On one hand they push and shove like children, and on the other, the opponents looks like pro league players.

I can't say that I was disappointed since I'm here for the main cast, and the main cast DELIVERED.
I'm just sad that the screenwriter decided to go with these kind of football scenes. The movie would've been better if they didn't show the worldcup matches at all, and just did a time skip with the results of the matches, and more time to tie the ends with each plot.

It'll come out somewhere when it's done selling on theatres, I just assume it'd be netflix.

I really wish they'd at least try to show this movie in cinemas internationally, I would've watched it even without subs if local cinemas had it. :(
Of course licensing and passing the movie to many different countries can cause leaks, but this is a risk every movie industry takes and still end up with positive results.
There is no way netflix streaming would do it justice... not in viewer count nor in the monetary deal. :(

His revenge is death by torture, not simply death, and as they showed him all bruised up, yes it's on-going, probably ends with the murderers death.
If they showed him dying then it would've ended too quickly :)

Mama Jin is just being obsessive and deceptive as usual, Master Lee said no such thing.

The love triangle in that one was a little frustrating in it's own way. :(

Her Private Life is my favorite and the only one not turn into shit in my opinion.

Surprised at this feedback, honestly thought most people here liked that sort of hopeless romantic character.

Can confirm, happened to me as a kid, luckily the car hit the brake and only bumped me slightly to give a few rolls on the ground.
But yes, I could've easily gotten out of the way.

This drama would be a lot better if Kang Hae Jin didn't exist.
Woo Gwang Nam could've saved her in that assault incident and everything would've been better.
Forced draggy love triangles suck. The fact he fell for her cause of what happened 13 years ago and never did anything about it until he found her as a "married" woman, then proceeded to snoop around and look into her background with the "first love" excuse is pretty dirty and dumb.
Sue me.

This is really underrated and under appreciated, a few terrible comments and reviews almost stopped me from watching it..
This is a unique show, no matter what you everyone thinks this is something you'll only experience once in your kdrama life. People watch and accept regurgitated kdramas with all the same cliches and troupes, but criticize something unique so harshly.

It starts off with dark comedy (imo one of the funniest I've seen) but gets more serious on later episodes, with the consequences from all the comedy riling up. And has a little sad touch in the end.
All these parts are well written, the story is not very realistic, but serves it's comedic purposes, the seriousness and the sad plot in the end is good enough to tear your heart apart. the ending closure was great and left NEARLY nothing to be desired. (There are some loose threads).

I have no idea why the harsh and low ratings for a kdrama that FINALLY tries to be different.

First episode and introductions were really cringe but then it started growing on me.
My favorite character is Hans, lol.

It's just annoying because it's in every kdrama.
Idk I used to feel like you too but after seeing it over a hundred times now it's more of a "ah it's this shit again" kinda feeling.

I binge watched this and I don't get all the 10/10 positive comments and reviews.
This was overall disappointing compared to kdramas with similar concepts.

If you watch it don't expect too much; maybe I went in with high expectations to be this disappointed..

I mean there won't be any sudden change that will get you invested in the characters, but watching more episodes will definitely improve it?
Your question is a bit difficult to answer because Idk what's the problem to tell you if it's still there or not.
I found myself invested really fast because I love shows with psychologically broken characters.

The writer change for episode 13->16 is the cherry on top

Way to ruin Soojin as a character just to add more unnecessary love triangles that is barely developed without any chemistry.
Love developed in a single day in their camp was enough to ruin her friendship with Joo Gyung. And turn her character from this compassionate friend, to a basic vile love antagonist..

I knew nothing good will come out of a drama tagged with High School and Love Triangle but this is extra.
