Go Ara plays the piano, but I believe they use doubles as well. Someone posted a screenshot of a scene where you…
That could be her a well, with a mask? It was an accident but it might still be her, maybe she had to reshoot it a few times and her face wasn't supposed to show there so she left on the mask?
Or maybe because he promise his friend to go to university... also it might be the promise he gave to his father…
This is pretty much on point, they saw him going into his father's office, probably asking him for help, he's probably now following his father' conditions for doing that, my problem is that he COULD'VE GIVEN HER A DAMN HINT.
While everyone in Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol is peaceful and happy, Start-Up is having a ship war or fan war. LOL
That's because this drama actually has a lot of interesting side characters and backstories to them, so people aren't fully focused on the couple. But even then, the main couple and the side lead all feel like adults, meanwhile in Start-up I feel like multiple people wrote each character so they're all over the place. And with the lack of any side stories, everyone is just shipping.
Don't get me wrong this drama isn't perfect, it never tried to take itself seriously with the plot, it's full of incidents and chance meetings. But somehow it works.
Personally I love how they show what both sides are thinking in an arguement. (When Jun's mother was talking to Rara)
Sometimes it may be good to sit back and watch some silly plot with zero expectations after all the recent dramas. So far Ep1 was a shampoo ad and Ep2 a corona awareness ad. lol
I binged this cause I had nothing better to watch and it's been on my radar for a while. This is a decent show to binge watch if you're in my situation, but it has a lot of kdrama tropes, and clichés so be prepared for that.
In fact, I think the whole show is a bunch of clichés jumbled together, I can't remember a single plot device that seemed unique and not overused.
But again, if you're bored and looking for a time filler, this is a decent binge, the way all the tropes are weaved together can create a drama somewhat unique. And at least it's 10 episodes only.
I binged this one today, and you actually put all my thoughts exactly in your comment.Especially the motive of…
She could've kept the promise to keep Eun Soo's child until she was out of prison, and then give her back to Eun Soo without tormenting her so much, then Eun Soo would probably still be mad but will not hold it against her any more. She'll try to make it work with her child completely disconnected from the tyrant chaebol family crap. The ex-husband kill would be covered and forgotten. Eun Soo only started digging the past after she realized her daughter is missing and she was lied to for 10 years.
Then again, it wouldn't be makjang if it happened that way, lol
I would've liked to see more about the FL overcoming her abuse trauma. There are not many dramas about this topic,…
"Kill Me Heal Me" is one drama that comes to mind when it comes to mental scars from abuse trauma and overcoming them. But I think any avid drama watcher has probably seen that one. Another one is "Let Me Introduce Her", it's worth checking out, but I watched it so long ago I can't honestly remember all the details and it might end up being disappointing.
Like you said there aren't many dramas about the topic. :/
Would like to mention that there is NO romance between Mom and son..Tae yi is a diff character entirely and only…
Uhh.. Lets be clear about one thing, Tae Yi is NOT a different character, they are the same person from different year and dimension. they are both named Tae Yi, the mother just changed her name after leaving Alice. With time travelling ENDED, both Tae Yi's shouldn't even exist, since Tae Yi's mother was also a time traveller. Jin Gyeom also shouldn't exist, since his mother was an older version of the young Tae Yi that fell in love with him.
I think the best way they could've salvaged this shit ending while cattering to the people that were shipping Tae Yi & Jin Gyeom is making them both cease to exist in the current timeline, and then maybe show them meeting in a different timeline (future or past) Although it's clear he didn't like the young Tae Yi the same way she liked him.
-Uhh so why is Tae Yi living with her foster family again? if time travelling didn't exist? -How come Jin Gyum even exists? let alone on the timeline where his mother was still a professor? I know they tried so hard to paint them as different characters with multiverse theory but now that time travelling ENDED there shouldn't be two Tae Yi's that look identical.
-Above all, why did time travelling even end after killing the older Jin Gyum? It should still go on until the moment the young Jin Gyum becomes that old. Since he was still alive at the time and it's only a future verison of himself that died?
I'll be the odd one and say season 1 was better, but it was mostly because I'm disappointed they ended the season…
I was hoping to see Si Mok smile more since he was starting to show improvements in season 1, but all we got is a smile at last frame of the season.
What bothers me about the ending is the fact half the bad people are still in power (unfinished job, again). And proscuter Kim Sa Hyun clearly had more to do with the kidnapping case than just "knowing" and he's walking free.
I'll be the odd one and say season 1 was better, but it was mostly because I'm disappointed they ended the season this way, again. When I saw the announcment for season 2 I had already forgotten most of season 1 side characters, what I still remembered was the main leads, and it seems like they reset/took a step back from season 1.
What bothered me the most about this drama was the camera angles, they kept doing frontal shots when two people were having a conversation, forcing me back into reality, and reminding me that this is a drama.
Not that I was very imersed into it, since it had a lot of unrealistic plots for comedic purposes. But the camera angles were more "different" than any other drama that tries to be unique. I know some other kdramas did this, but it was rare, like 1 or 2 scenes, this one overused it..
It was unpleasant to be stared at while the character is talking to someone else I guess?
It was an accident but it might still be her, maybe she had to reshoot it a few times and her face wasn't supposed to show there so she left on the mask?

No one is EVER happy with the result, and they take up too much time from the main plots.

Especially the motive of the antagonist, it's just so.. weird.

So many plot holes..
