I'll be the odd one and say season 1 was better, but it was mostly because I'm disappointed they ended the season this way, again. When I saw the announcment for season 2 I had already forgotten most of season 1 side characters, what I still remembered was the main leads, and it seems like they reset/took a step back from season 1.
What bothered me the most about this drama was the camera angles, they kept doing frontal shots when two people were having a conversation, forcing me back into reality, and reminding me that this is a drama.
Not that I was very imersed into it, since it had a lot of unrealistic plots for comedic purposes. But the camera angles were more "different" than any other drama that tries to be unique. I know some other kdramas did this, but it was rare, like 1 or 2 scenes, this one overused it..
It was unpleasant to be stared at while the character is talking to someone else I guess?
Some people in the comments make me feel like it's their first time watching a Korean drama.....
I blame Parasite, ever since that movie won the oscar a huge wave of people entered the scene of Korean dramas, and you can see them reacting to every drama that aired since then, as if it's the first time things happen. I've seen dramas as cliche and cheesy as it gets, be praised as original and romantic, when in fact, the content of them is as overused as it gets.
This girl is surrounded by irresponsible friends, Gong Ji Seon on episode 14, and Gong Ji Hee on episode 26. In both cases they fully knew it's not good for her to know..
Kang Bae x Yeo Rin, Weol Joo x Chief Gwi (kind of)
I took that as her memory alone, and didn't think Chief Gwi was in the flashbacks as well. Same thing happened at the end of episode 4 when Kang Bae held her hand, she remembered the prince, and had flashbacks as well..
Although looking at episode 5 again Chief Gwi seemed lost in thoughts as well, you might be right.
I feel like the writer has this grand script in their head, and they want us to understand it when it's told in such an odd way, timeline keeps jumping back and forth, when they could've just showed us all the flashbacks and then their consequences in the future.
Some of it is understandable of course, but it's unnecessarily complicated, makes the viewer depends on theories to see their own version of the story. I'm a fan of mysterious dramas that make you "use your head" more than others, but this isn't it.. This is one of the dramas that is banking on popularity from videos that are titled "***** EP## EXPLAINED!" "***** ENDING EXPLAINED!" and I can already see these videos won't even be consistant since the timeline is so confusing but everyone wants to be the smartypants and say "I understood this!!"...
Bad guys in super hero movies are more realistic than this antagonist, at least they try to explain the way they got their super powers. I wrote a long sarcastic comment about the show below, a month ago. But to each their own I guess, I just had to voice my opinion when you said you're going to watch it.
I can not watch this drama on netflix. And I changed the language to english. Even though that I can not see anything…
I gave up on Netflix long ago, even if you use VPN a lot of VPN services are detected and blocked by Netflix. I just thought "their loss" and stopped paying them money.
I love Jung So Min and I love this drama, I only wish they paid more attention to the patients instead of the main leads, it feels like their romance just progressed too fast because they've been on screen 90% of the show while there has only been 2-3 major patient sub-stories. I don't really mind the fast-paced romance or anything, it's just that they will certainly drag it at the end because there will be no more content to progress the story..
Also, they should've lowered the volume on Han Woo Joo's explosive screaming.. yes she can scream but adjust/normalize the volume so it doesn't blow up my eardrums!! T-T
Finally got around binging this drama.. I loved it, even though higher-ups corruption was present, it was very bearable, and it showcased character development a lot. It made me feel like I'm watching real humans, that can improve and redeem themselves. Most crime dramas and specially ones envolving kids have the characters only get worse and worse until the end. I also love how Cha Young Jin changed every life she touched to the better..
I watched this while it was airing, and rewatched it a few times since then, I wish I could rate this 11/10, because it's just that good, but I don't want to discredit the other dramas I rated as 10/10.

There are a lot better ways to waste time.. x-x
