P.S. Instead of using a translation app, use co-pilot (if you have a computer/laptop.) You can ask it to break down a sentence in Chinese, English, and Pinyin and, if you 'talk to it nicely', it will even explain the grammar and the syntax of a phrase or sentence. You just have to know how to ask it.
To anybody who might care: I don't understand why nobody has translated this drama given the huge following of the ML. I understand that the language used is very complex, but other dramas with similar complexity have been subtitled over the years.
Worse still, although S1 is on Youtube (I don't know about S2) one cannot turn on autosubs in my region (UK) ; nor can one download the script in Chinese, or I would attempt to translate it myself. (It might take me a year as I have only been learning Mandarin for a short time.) For those tech-savvy amongst you, why would one be able to get (so I have read) English auto subs on You tube in France? Is it a political thing? A licensing thing?
I tried watching this years ago but dropped it because the ML was too weak (mentally). Does he mature at all and if so when? I'm willing to give it another go. (P.S. For those who might be bothered - I don't regard this as a spoiler so did not mark it as such.)
Anyone know where to watch series besides Viki(Seems to be region capped).
Season one is translated on myasiantv.ac. I don't know if it is manually subbed or if it is auto-subbed. (I am just about to have a look at it, myself.)
It's available on Kisskh now https://kisskh.co/Drama/Braveness-of-the-Ming/Episode-5?id=9569&ep=164258&page=0&pageSize=100first…
Do you happen to know if myasiantv.ac get their subs from kisskh? I am quite used to this site and have not had any issues (given the nature of the site) and don't want to switch to another dodgy, unknown site.
I think the same way. I am wonder how they will solve this matter. ML doent know for now the she was the one,…
Someone else pointed out (just below me) that it may have been someone else who ordered their deaths. I shall have to watch that part of episode 1 again. Did we actually heatr him say it, or did we just hear sombody else pass on the order?
My guess is it is because of tribal/city wars. The FL's mother is from the Enaqi tribe and fled to Tiandu for…
Her mother may have been from the Enaqi tribe, but do we know what tribe the father is from? (I am not sure if it was mentioned in ep. 1.) FL would have been of her father's tribe. FL seems to be the only princess of her tribe whereas the 2nd FL was the ninth princess of her own tribe.
I am surprised that nobody has commented on the fact that the ML, the North Lord, is the one who ordered her, her mother, and their retinue to be killed outside the city gate when they begged for asylum. I wonder how they will deal with this issue later on. Will it be a 'I love you but I must kill you for revenge' ending, for example?
Did not the North Lord's people pass on the message that she had this desert scroll? Later he appears to be travelling incognito as a merchant and is very interested to discover that the FL is in possession of same. (Please don't tell me its a 'twin trope'!)
Or have I misread the plot thus far? (When I have watched a few more episodes I may revise my opinion.)
As it is not written in the synopsis (on MDL), and there is no mention of it up to the end of episode 8 (unless I missed it) how is it known by viewers that she is a former assassin?
