Any thoughts on why he would snap her neck given that she was about to die? (Apart from the fact that he is a right nutter, that is.) - Yes, an assumption on my part, but characters are always just about to die, aren't they? Was this taken from the novel, anyone?

Using the link which you provided, I skipped to the very end, to see how it ended but I couldn't actually see what happened because You Tube advertised four dramas over the top of it. Do they see or recognise each other, or does he leave the shop without approaching her?
