Idk if it’s just me, but I don’t really see D.O. as a convincing villain. Personally, Kwang Soo nailed his…
I see what they were going for but too much smirking and laughing to the point of being comical but it still works imo bcs everyone else is good

Something about Kim Young Dae for me is that he always to be acting. What I mean is that his characters do not…
he's good at acting with his eyes which is impressive. He has a strong vibe. Think it has to do with his sharp features.

I found it hard to care about the main couple. the second leads were more engaging.

An interesting concept but the plot wasn't fleshed out enough and it shows….the first 4 eps were entertaining. Got draggy and repetitive in the middle then the messy finale. The palace intrigue felt shoehorned in. It would've been better if the King didn't fall for Ji Yeong but this is kdramaland so ofc he did. Yoona sold her role but Lee Chae Min stole the show. He elevates any project he’s in which speaks to his talent. Will continue to tune into his projects.

Started off strong but got draggy very quickly. Lost interest then went back to finish. Good premise but the execution could've been better
