Eh...the friends to lovers trope isn't my cup of tea so majority of this was tedious to get through. There were characters I enjoyed--Moem and Danho had my heart(no wedding??). The drunk antics from the dads were laughter inducing lol. Themes like the ripple effect and family showing up for each other was done well. The main couple was fine. I liked this more the longer things played out but I wouldn't rewatch as that would be a bore I fear.
(Jung Hae In in a rom com was refreshing but I think I prefer him in more serious roles^)
I'm amazed at how much aspects of idol culture this touched on--and in a way that was nuanced while still keeping respect for the subject matter. As an idol fan I feel understood, not belittled. This is how you do an show about otakus.
Average rating is appropriate. For a binge watch this is fine but there's other dramas with similar storylines that had far better execution. We can't deny the half bakedness but I don't regret watching.
I came in for a good time. wasn't expecting much except rich kid shenanigans and a dash of character development. I like this enough to want a season 2
Love the Seasons of Blosssom shoutout. The 1st ep is what got me emotionally invested. That soon dwindled once the show decided it didn't wanna further explain exactly how Sunjae got to the point of his death. And fir what it would've been worth, I would've preferred a finale where he died. The payoff would've been so much better imo
Too fast-paced imo and the FL was already in love from the get-go. Wish there was an episode or two for the sudden marriage to sink in and at least some mindless filler to make it longer. Don't know why the ML even attempted to play hard to get cause he fell for Miura so quickly. Anyway the cute scenes were cute and they had good chemistry. I absolutely love the opening theme song. Might be my fave dorama OST. I'd recommend if u wanna watch something short, cute, and to the point then def give this a go. If you want something romancey with a bit more substance then maybe find something else.
I liked this. didn't love it but the fwb part was enjoyable. For a virgin Kamisaka seemed pretty experenced. Guess he watched a lot of adult content lol. Felt like this coulda been an ep or two longer. i wouldn't have even minded an epilogue episode with how Ranko's intimacy and vulnerability has improved with Kamisaka.
This show kinda destroyed me. The way I had to take breaks between episodes and would get headaches tryna figure out the twists. I haven't watched a psych thriller after this show cause this fucked me up. Can someone relate? lmao
