this is why lovely runner fell off for me. It's like they wanna tell a serious story ab the harsh realities of idol life then sideline all the development to shoehorn in the y/n fan girl nonsense and it ended up destroying the show. It's frustrating that writers never want to display healthy platonic relationships between idols and fans--the FL either has to be delulu or end up falling in love. It's pretty insulting like no we don't all want to marry our faves smh

the premise for LR was promising but it went downhill quickly. Hopefully this goes better

The acting is what kept me watching after ep 8. Everyone brought their A game and the characters are developed well.

I wanted to see more of him ngl. I don't think his back story would have been as interesting as BAJ as he's just a spoiled rich kid who got too much too soon so he now has to go to extremes to be entertained. The actor nails that crazy smile and he's cute ngl

Do Hyeok was underutilized...I don't think he messed with Ajin quite enough. Watching her be played with was satisfying as it was a taste of her own medicine. Not so fun when you're the toy.

Don't know why the writers tried to redeem ajin in ep 8... why can't yall just let bad be bad? she isn't misunderstood or has a point and is going about it the wrong way. she's irredeemable in the webtoon but they gave her some humanity in the show

I feel like in ep 8 they tried to redeem ajin by showing an inch of humanity but I think that was the wrong choice...they should've kept her undeniably bad

at the end of the webtoon no one is really happy but it isn't too sad. Shit is kinda bleak but it's fitting for this story

The number Ajin did on the MLs is INSANE work. The psychological damage is so deep. She didn't just get inside their heads...she altered their understanding of love so masterfully that her cruelty felt like affection and loyalty to her felt like a moral obligation.

Junseo is so whipped for her pls she just has to look at him and dude starts tearing up. Their relationship is prob the most interesting I've seen in a drama. It's so weird and twisted and borderline incestuous but also original.

I see what they were going for but too much smirking and laughing to the point of being comical but it still works imo bcs everyone else is good
