Title The Heir
Me too now when i see ink in historical dramas i think all the work that went in that haha thanks to heir. I love…
Nahh i really loved POJ maybe not everyones cup of tea but it was mine with extra sweetness:
1) strong female lead (Badass with a capital B)
2) cinematography
3) not boring at all, fast paced story
4) handsome as hell cast🤭
5) loved the people in that village 🥹 and their character growth arc
6) lover boy male lead ( he didin't play about her and she ABOUT him)
7) she didin't need a saving all the time she saved herself most the time
8) They told the story of every character so well, even the ''villains'' and how they ended up the way they did.
9) The chemistry like you said top notch
10) male lead supported her and all her achievements wholeheartedly (my fav part was when he came to watch her secretly when she was getting that promotion flower thing, when he didint't get none yet and could be killed leaving without permission.
11) He was not ashamed of her not once in front of his people (noble/military) he didin't give an F about his ''reputation''.
12) my fav second leads, loved all their stories too. The princess and her story had my heart.

I understand what you mean about that surgery thing 🤣 but its a drama not even a medical one, i didin't even think about that much and i'm in the medical field. The day i was watching that i literally came from work and watched that episode with my food, dramas are usually an escape from reality. I have seen a lot worse in a MEDICAL drama where you think '' did they even consult people in the medical field'' with this.

You see people holding forceps in the wrong way in a medical drama i just laugh and ignore, once they where showing a wrong ( of course fake, probably from even internet) x-ray about a character/ patient and whatever they where claiming didin't match it. It's hilarious when you work in the medical field.

I haven't seen irreplaceable yet i'll watch it after ATC. I have watched 4 episodes of SOTB i was already watching ATC couldn't do 2 ongoing dramas but def will continue it too i love both leads in SOTB.

My fav drama for 2026 is POJ and it's getting close if POJ is 10
ATC is 9.7 and it's still ongoing..

Before that my favorite was ten miles of peach blossoms/eternal love in 2017 and before that scarlet heart in 2011.

So all in all 2026 is very good year for c-dramas. We keep getting banger after banger can't even keep upp, but keep them coming.

Me and historical/fantasy dramas are like🤞i dont watch that much modern c-dramas, but i have to say when it comes to historical/fantasy dramas they make the most beautiful high quality dramas omgg and the outfits/costumes i just love them

Title The Heir
Very underrated , i love the attention to detail for the ink making it's very traditional and love such series…

I love stories about traditional things and people making them. More dramas like this please. Currently watching ATC about the life of maids and love it.

Title The Road to Splendor Spoiler
I dont know much about against the current but this drama is anything but silly. The plot is well structured,…
First time watching a historical drama where ml did this and they didin't even wait for her to accept that ''offer/force'' whatever. They got married so fast without her consent or feelings i was shooktt but kept thinking maybe it's a more realistic take of that time. Only thing that kept me watching that episode was that ml immediately understood what he did was wrong and was seeking her forgiveness and then came ''tea part'' IYK and sight wasn't with that at all but kept watching, because it's too good and got me already hooked.

watching this alongside against the current is a mistake lol. this drama feels so silly in comparison
I also started watching this because i was waiting more episodes of against the current to drop so i can binge it later and i have to say the cinematography, script and acting were all 10/10 and high quality. I started watching with no expectations at all and was positively surprised. I got so hooked so fast haha i watched 16 episodes in 2 days. Also so much is happening in this drama so fast and there's too many villains that it can get you overwhelmed very fast ( not complaining at all) but comparing this to against the current where things go slow but it's not boring at all.

Personally i also prefer against the current, but i also loved The Heir, it had that slowness but also the betrayal of FL family was almost as crazy as this.

First time watching a drama with these leads and it's amazing. Also it's the director-screenwriter duo as in The Prisoner of Beauty so i'm not surprised with the good quality.

Haha i'm 8 episodes behind and waiting at least ep 40 to air before i binge watch again. Hardest task ever
it's impossible i'll continue and then wait again.
Let's see how long it takes for me to catch up with 8 episodes i bet in 1-2 days like last time.
Last drama that had me this hooked was pursuit of jade, i don't want this one to end too.

Yes, they already punished us with 1 episode a day, now they don’t even give us 1 episode today, so unfair 😭
It makes sense, AI translated dramas are horrible.
I remember i dropped so many dramas in YT because of machine translations it didin't even make sense. I just waited the sites to translate.

Screenwriter Tong Hua is one of my favorite authors. She is the original author for Lost You Forever, and Scarlet…
Scarlet heart was my first chinese drama omgg the reason i was sucked on a c-drama hole i was already watching kdramas at that point.
It was soo good but also traumatized the hell out of me i legit took a long pause from c-dramas for a while and came back for Sound of the Desert because of Liu Shi Shi another 10/10 drama by her.

Word for all my girlies you must always choose the one that cherishes you they make good husbands because feelings…
My mom said exactly same thing to us ! I agree but i think you need to love them at least 75-80 % back for it to work forever in my opinion. I mean if this person gives you 100% of his energy he deserves at least 80 % of your energy back.

If you look Kaiyi and Yiheng couple he was the one liking her at the beginning and pursuing her but she met him at the middle also soon after that (my couple 🥺).

And i agree that a man should always love you a bit more !

I'm kinda happy for xilun it was like a love at first sight for him, but i don't think Yuer is 100 on the same…
Oh ok that's nice, i really liked when they met in the opening episode almost shipped but i just sensed that she wasn't into him like that, hopefully they last.

I meant similar with their ego and pride. Of course she can change in the future but i was speaking about what we saw right now with xilun. Who knows if they are together, did they confirm yet ?

Person Kim Eun Sook
Can't believe she has written so many good scripts before writing Iblis. Gosh.
Iblis is crazy pull, skipped it Audhubillah even though she did my all time favorite dramas secret garden and goblin and i was tempted but there is limit to everything, no regrets ✌️

Not a heyue/xiyue shipper!!!This couldn’t leave my head, xilun and sha Yue’er would have been the great love…
I'm kinda happy for xilun it was like a love at first sight for him, but i don't think Yuer is 100 on the same level with him in this, Can it last if one person just keep giving, what yall think ?
I like Yuer's personality but i don't think you can force love, sometimes its better to leave alone and single.

And for hewen i feel like yuer would choose him from the get go if he was like xilun and gave all his attention and energy to her only, with no constant clash. Both seems too prideful and can't admit their wrongs, they are too similar and not in a good way.

Hopefully he finds his happiness with someone else who's more compatible with him, he seems like a good person.

I think the best thing HS9 did, also compared to korean ones, it allows you to let go. Like in S6 we have many…
THIS !

Why i loved S6, it was my first chinese dating show and when they could't find their person, they left and said their proper goodbyes, it was a nice surprise comparing to korean shows, where they just kept dragging meaningless connections and many people just kept pursuing people who didin't like them back even 10 % for the whole show.

They need to normalize this. It's better for everyones mental health, less stressful and awkward too. For both, people in the house and for the viewers as well.

Even when Mengmeng left, she left with her dignity and with grace, she was one of my fav contestant and i really cried twice with her before she left, but loved her decision and rooting for her happiness. Why continue with a humiliation ritual on national tv if the person doesn't like you back AT ALL and is obsessed with someone else midway a show.

No haven't seen Family's honor, somehow i missed it all those years ago, i tried to watch it but can't find it anywhere anymore. I was searching like 2 months for that drama whenever i remember and couldn't find it :(
If you know where can i watch family's honor pls send me ?

i have seen golden bride like 15 years ago, i don't remember it like that anymore but i remember it was good.

I haven't seen Life is Beautiful either i'll put on my watchlist thanks.

I dont remember seeing Wonderful Days, it's going definitely to watchlist too haha, so many stuff to watch i love it.

Rightt love big messy families, with so many characters and stories. I used to watch them with ongoing dramas and we had something to watch every day.
