one of my fav historical dramas till this day ! Rewatched all of it in summer 🤭 after 10+ years. I wanted more episodes with them.....true love well done and one of the reasons i love old historical kdramas is they actually showed their culture/ josean era so well if you know what i mean, the instruments, food like it was amazing.
They don't do it like that anymore...like jewel in the palace, dong yi the long well detailed historical dramas. Last good historical drama i watched was six flying dragons in 2016 i think .

One of the reasons i started watching c-historical dramas. They deliver till this day with the details, the stories about ink making, about maids i love them. KBS used to do so well historical dramas i don't know, now it's all about streaming platforms i guess.

This was my first chinese speaking drama omgg i watched this when i was a teenager ! Memoriesssss ! This and Autumn's Concerto got me to eventually watch C-dramas later. Taiwanese dramas used to be THE blueprint !

What kind of beef ya'll have with this director it's hilarious ! Not one negative feedback in where the mask ends page. Everyone is entitled to their opinion i was just surprised about all of this hate. I think he did a really good job, nothing to complain i have seen A BAD work and this is not it.

Just for curiosity, did you drop it because of the directing...of a specific scene or ?? ya'll said something about slo motion i have seen 14 episodes nothing like that.

I have been watching c-drama for a longgg time. Og c-drama watchers know about those damn old dramas and their 20 angle per scene so i don't know, maybe i don't see what you're seeing.

It's actually good, hella funny and educational nothing over the top ! Binge watched 6 episodes. Very well made.

I'm waiting more episodes to drop so i can binge watch it, i feel like many people are still waiting to watch it later too.
