Fr! The traumatic past healed by fl is overused now. Though only 2 eps are released many things are simply exposed and it kind of leaves less room for suspense and development in further episodes.
One i noticed is that we don't get grandmas like this often in cdrama. I mean , though they are not entirely good people but they are sensible and understand the value of a thing called " human life ". Casting a chou aside is one thing but killing her is way off charts and they resisted !

Did u not watch carefully? It was against Ma ke not Tianna . Ma ke stole her proposal and she wanted to get her revenge for it. Also both xu chi and tianna decided to compete after tianna got on the project. Yes , initially xu chi was bit agitated but she calmed up quick. Bro literally there were other things happening between the 2 events u mentioned.

I genuinely loved the KAIST team. Because their teamwork was so good and each member utilized their abilities man. SNU was really good but it was mostly carried by Gyumin. Regardless, i loved this season way more than the 1st. I really want to meet kaist members man, genuinely found smart people... they carried the games strategically so well.
When this drama was announced, at first i was bit surprised by the casting. I could not imagine Zhou ye and Xu kai in a drama together. But damn this one got me blushing after a long time . The chemistry.... loved it. The scenes are shot really well.
There are toxic drama categories- 1. Toxicity is ignored 2. Toxicity is acknowledged yet its been promoted 3. Toxicity is acknowledged but theres lessons learnt from it , reflecting on it , resistance is shown towards it.
This drama falls in 3rd category. Its a toxic bl done right. I never thought i would actually like such questionable plot and characters but here i am , writing a full-blown comment about it. The main characters are not 1 dimensional like other typical, typecasted characters. This drama made me cry despite me having no expectations with this originally. You shulang his character is genuine and feels real. Fan xiao actually realizes what you shulang wants to convey though it takes time but he tries. That being said Toxicity should not be promoted, this drama does its job well. You shulang's resilience and fan xiao's reflections are loud and clear. Though this might not be everyone's cup of tea but it actually conveys the point to the watchers. This is what dark romance should always have been. To acknowledge the darkness, accepting it and fighting it too rather than living in delusions of control and Toxicity being love and care.
