to me, it felt super forced, it felt like she had to love him cuz the script demanded it. the chemistry wasn't…
The romance in this drama wasn’t forced. The female lead had a lot on her plate, especially with her illness, and she didn’t immediately share that with the male lead. Her emotional growth wasn’t about fitting into a script but reflecting a more mature, realistic approach to relationships. She wasn’t defined by her connection to the male lead she was dealing with personal challenges and still showed care for him through actions like cooking for him and helping when he was sick and assisting him during work time.

As for the chemistry, it wasn’t about constant sparks but moments of quiet understanding, like in the pool scene. Even when the male lead confessed, the story didn’t rely on instant tension, but rather the emotional depth of both characters. The arrival of the second male lead added complexity, but it didn’t freeze the relationship it allowed the characters to grow individually and together. The show didn’t need constant dramatic tension to make their bond believable it was the subtle shift in their relationship that mattered.

So I just finished this it was overall pretty good I wouldn't call this a romcom though. It is more heavy & sadder…
It was marketed as a romcom, but it’s more of a slice of life, melodrama, and family drama. The 16 episodes were necessary since each character had their own story to tell, though I sometimes felt it could’ve used more. I get that we all have different opinions, but the realism hits because, as adults, it’s not always easy to communicate especially with everything the main leads were going through.

it's a happy ending right? They would ends up together and she won't d-worded?
It is a Happy ending, she did not d-word but live.

I started rewatching this drama again just to feel the comfort it gave me. Loving the first EPs again, and before they revealed Seokryu’s illness, she was really slaying with her outfits 💗

Imagine being in your 30s and still act like a teenager *cough* seok ryu.
Seunghyo also has his childish moments in the drama, but both characters still show their mature side as well.

I'm missing my wholesome fam, SeungRyu, adorable Moeum, and her little family 😭. Been listening to the OST today, “Wall” by Kwon Jin Ah, I really like this song. Maybe it’s time for a rewatch ❤️.

I had to officially drop this at episode four for some reason I just couldn’t be compelled to continue this…
They were best friends in the earlier episodes, and in my opinion, the first four were really interesting, even though I liked it all the way to the end. They started dating in episode 11, and it’s a slow burn drama.

It seems like the word “overrated” is often misused when talking about popular dramas. Just because a drama gains some recognition doesn’t mean it’s truly hyped or overrated. In fact, the hype surrounding this particular drama was fairly surface-level. Only three dramas this year had what you call “hype".

imo it should have been a sad ending drama. not everyone needs to be happy .
Not every drama requires a sad ending. Since this is a healing drama, it was essential for the characters to find their happiness.

The chemistry with the leads for me fits more as sibling/bestfriend relationship… no spark, I love the parents…
Stop creating accs to hate on this drama!!!

Ikr, disliking the drama and attacking the watchers who enjoyed the drama are two complete different things.
Yeah, that’s why I mostly engage with those I’m familiar with to protect my peace.

This isn’t fair at all. Why make others feel like they can’t enjoy this drama?.

today feels like a battle day instead of the peaceful days when I could just enjoy reading the comments, whether they were negative or positive, like before.

I don’t think this fanbase is toxic. The real issue seems to come from some people acting as if others aren’t allowed to enjoy the drama or from trolls coming back just to insult others. It hasn’t even been 24 hours, and yet some of you are already resorting to insults, which is what’s actually making things toxic—not the fanbase.

Let’s not fight. The arguments are mostly caused by users who disliked the drama but chose to leave degrading comments toward those who liked it. Of course, that kind of disrespect would cause a stir. This isn’t about criticizing the drama; it’s about attacking the fans. Let’s try to keep things respectful.
