i hate young-soon. idc if she had a shitty childhood or is suffering due to cancer, none of that excuses the absolute…
I feel the same way. I thought maybe after his accident, she'll realise that maybe her way isn't right and there'll be character growth and a different kind of bond between them now. But instead we are shown the same extreme methods and it feels like the writers are glorifying it too because all it shows is that all her severe methods made him a prosecutor or that they cured his paralysis. The cancer bit is just an added cherry on top to justify more of her bad parenting in a bid to get him to manage on his own for when she is not there. I actually like all the characters in the show but their arcs leave a lot to be desired. The lost potential of the show has really disappointed me. We need to stop putting absolutely-shitty-parenting-but-for-the-good-of-the-child mentality on the pedestal.
I've watched 7 episodes and the beginning of the 8th. I liked the first few episodes but now I have to say that…
I was really excited to see the character growth and learn about their motivations. But sadly, it has been disappointing. The show had so much potential but as you said a lot has happened but not really either. I keep waiting to like the mom or for her to change her ways but till now she's still doing the same bad parenting. I feel like I was promised something but I got something else.
Can someone please tell me how Kim Gyeong Ran is everywhere? She works at Siesta as the store clerk, gets Yeon-jin ready before her program and also plays with Ye-sol at home. How many jobs does she have? Does she even go home?
I swear. Idk how people like ML. He's been doing nothing but simping after FL. Idk how that's attractive. SFL…
Ikr!!!!!! The expressions he makes as if he is such a martyr and better than everyone else. I don't understand how the actor is playing this character because I've liked him in everything up till now.
