Hi. I discovered this beautiful gem recently and have been enjoying this so much. I don't have any baseball knowledge so can someone please help me? In ep 10, they all discuss how players go off for their own off season training to a warmer country and how it's supposed to be their own thing, which the club doesn't have anything to do with. Then how come in ep 11, they're discussing the team going away and the director canceling plans etc.? How is the club getting involved with their off season training? I know this is not very important but I'm going crazy trying to figure it out ðŸ˜
As far as I remember (I watched it in 2020)They had a child who died. The ex-wife kind of blamed him. Hence, the…
They're actually talking about him being sorry for Gil Changi Ju having to join the army to get him back as the general manager. She tells him to not feel sorry all the time as that was the problem they had when they lost the baby.

That is not the sense I got from their conversation. She doesn't apologise. He asks her if he can be happy and she says of course. That's what I understood of the situation. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Seriously. The subtitles timing was so off that I had subtitles on but thankfully I have learned Korean so I was…
Right? Eps 1 and 2 were properly synced. I watched yesterday's ep and thought it was just a one time thing. It really made me wanna stream it elsewhere... :(
Is anyone else's Prime glitching? The subtitles start off okay and perfectly timed. But as the episode goes on it starts lagging, until it's completely out of sync by the end :(
What a drama. I really didn't have high expectations after seeing the rating but they've dealt with such complex issues so well. I have no complaints with the story at all. Such layered characters that you get attached to so quickly. I wonder why the rating isn't higher. Anyone in two minds about watching this should definitely go ahead.
Hi. This drama is so interesting! In ep 2, did anyone understand the ear sequence? When Koo Won goes to collect the soul and the guy says the contract isn't fair, they focus on the guy's ears for a bit and he says he hasn't worked this hard even for the Olympics. I didn't understand this part at all. What did the ears signify?
I just started this drama and am loving it so far. This is my first cdrama and I don't know much about this world so I had one doubt. I thought China had a one child policy until 2016. How does the FL have a sibling then? Thank you in advance.
Is the show condoning abuse? Because a lot of what Mother does in the name of tough love can be interpreted as…
I feel the same way. It's all okay because it's out of love. There's one scene where she says sorry for putting him through everything but that is also not addressed to him but another character. This would have been amazing earlier in the show with the rest of the episodes built on them trying to repair their relationship. But all we got was a montage where the son discovers that all her actions though bad were well-intentioned so he also forgives her and continues loving her. I'm so so disappointed with the show, for the lost potential.
Anyone in two minds about watching this should definitely go ahead.
