Anything can happen with this series until October, who drag a series that long!!!

Not much happen in every episode. This is alright if there are 2 episode per week, but only one at that pace it is dragging. I also do enjoy the series and have read the novel too, but in all honesty, this approach of filling the week with "fan service" does not work for me as much as lovely Elliot and Kipuka are. As a matter of fact, they should be paid a double fee as the bts is much more loving that any scene in this drama. Still I am here for the storyline and that does not progress much.

Not transferring sexual scenes to live show it is quite common in any country, even in Hollywood they tamed very graphic sex. Directors and producers avoid their film/series to be classified as 18+ . As a matter of fact, they avoid it at all cost because this means a reduction in the audience size and, as such, of income too.

Why don't write to costumer services to explain you joined for this series and they stopped. They may pay attention, who knows

I understand you can stop your subscription at any time. It would be good that people that join Iqiyi because this series say so. It could be a good message not to mess with the audience expectations.

What is this rant against China now? We knew about China position in relation to BLs for years, and YouTube is not accessible to Chinese people. China has their own apps, YouTube is not one of them.

Rakuten Viki, Gagaoola and two other more platforms that I don't recall. the ABO Series official account both in Instagram and X are fully operative as well!

The Chinese government did not remove them. The same streaming platforms took them from the air and we really do not know the full picture. The sisters has not told us why, only that they were working with this platforms and did not reach an agreement. It sounds more a business problem more than anything else if you asked me.

I am sure we will have new episodes. The series is already bought by the other platforms, I wouldn't hold my breath regarding live streaming....I don't know I may be wrong but I would think that maybe it is good to keep a low profile at the moment.

I am worried about the cast from the beginning. It takes nothing to lose reputation in China and these are pro actors in the ent industry for quite a few years. I know they have fans abroad now, but honestly, who do you prefer as fans the millions that make the Chinese audience with a lot of "power of acquisition" that can buy expensive brands or a bunch of indiscriminate international fans that maybe gather for a fan meeting once in a while? One of my Chinese friends just recently comment this in our chat. Actors who participate in a "international" BL gather international audience but would never get brand deals like even secondary actors can get in China.

They wanted to sell the BL to a wide range of streaming platforms. Four of them where state owned and are bound by Chinese regulations. In all moment this BL has been promoted as "Chinese BL" targeting Chinese audiences that should have not been targeted as it is illegal there (also encouraging illegal streaming via foreigh VPNs). Some of this platforms promotes this BL as being a Taiwanes BL to bypass the problem, but the production is registered in China. In other cases of "Chinese" BL the productions, these have been registered in other countries e.g. Thailand. so even it was show in e.g. Iqiyi, they were not in infringement because it was not a Chinese production. Probably, there are more reasons but these are the main ones that have transpired.

Well said. I noticed arrogance/grandiosity from the producers since the beginning when promoting the first trailer. The truth is that they do not have experience in the industry. Hopefully lessons have been learnt.
