One of the few dramas where the timeskip was needed so much. She had to get time to mourn her brother, not even…
and our ML deserved also the break to learn to live a "normal live" and smile again as she wish him,. He was witness to the most brutal killing of all those who he loved and cherished him and lived with this trauma for so long.
Ep 9 - The episode belongs to Tan/New, we came to know his pain for his little bro, his parents, for all his promising dreams broken. These terrible people destroyed his life. It feels some kind of comforting that Phee is with him trying to support him. Ta/New claim some truths and that we commented in this forum: Jin is just like them because insists in be with them and participating in all the damage to Non. The teacher is charged with child abduction, so in Thailand there is also a statury crime about teachers running away with pupils. I really could not watch the sex scene of Phee with Jin, I fast forward it looks so devoid of any feelings, I don't like this kind of scene. Phee looks genuine in not feeling any affection for Jin and for first time Jin had the right reaction and felt disgusted by Phee attitude. I think Copper the actor is doing really well handling such a difficult character. He is not there with Barcode at his level of acting but he has all the potential. His character Jin is complex and has to show a whole range of emotions. Well done.
Honey Lee has written the most beautiful post about Wong Jon, she said at the end: "Fly high now our Wong Jon" and it is what we all wish for him. He so deserves it. If you watch the bts of the series, Honey Lee has been an inspiration for all the actors. Always encouraging them and giving directions herself. to Wong Jon she even said when he was getting shy as he had to be rough with her or embrace her: "Don't be embarrassed, why you are embarrassed? Wong Jon also wrote a heartfelt message to all the audience thanking us for watching and reaching a 18%+ of rating, this is a record of some sort (for those who understand the system). I am also grateful to Zeenan who composed both of the OTS and sang one; the other he left to the fabulous Lee Youngji. Go and check them out in Spotify. What an incredible series this has been! the happiest experience watching a K production. It never disappointed. it sustained the energy and breath of the drama throughout, not a moment dull. The romance was so lovely. I was convinced there was not going to be a kissing scene, they did not set the series for this. Her character was so proud and wholesome and did not give away to him easily; until the very last end second she did not allow him to be complaisant and his love was so unconditional, he was going to take whatever she had to offer. The implied "you can catch me now if you want" and she offering her arms, was everything, the most perfect, loveliest ending. The rolling credits made for the rest of the narrative summarising such a beautiful love and the joy of all the cast. Well done everybody, we were all winners in this series!
Lmao, they cut off the kiss probably because of the antis and their whole "omg age gap" nonsense. Either way,…
The actors not even post one single photo together in their social media while they post photos with every other member of the cast. Hopefully now that the drama ended we will see a nice CP actors photo. Maybe it was to control audience expectations as it was not going to be a rom com.
Eps 7 - loved this episode. This series is so uplifting and joyful! Haru and Maki are such green flags and love each other unconditionally. The end conversation is so wholesome about the families we make in life, which comes in all forms and shapes and that could change with time so we are allowed to be flexible. It is such an up-to-date message not only applicable to the LGBTQ+ community but to everybody who loves and puts their trust in others who are not necessarily their relatives or even as relatives are not expected to play the role of substitute mum/dad/sibling/kids etc. Well done!
Wong Jon posted in his Insta that this put them in first place in rating in Korea for the episode. He is so happy…
Yes, it is fantastic. Kudos to the casting team that were able to see the matching between him and Honey Lee. "In Paper" would have not work, so to speak , but the cast team could predict tthey had he right energy to complement each other in these particular roles. We are all winners here!
Knight Flower |EP 11| Nielsen Ratings Nationwide : 15.4%Seoul : 14.7%Wow congrats to whole team for achieving…
Wong Jon posted in his Insta that this put them in first place in rating in Korea for the episode. He is so happy about this. He is having a big celebration and giving a big thank you to all those watching (us!)
Ep 11 - The epilogue was beautiful, but who else loved the 1st scene as much? It was not just the tenderness of her tucking him in the bed and him caressing his cheek but how without saying it directly, she acknowledged and accepted his feelings: "Something must have upset you", meaning I know why you are upset and I give you the right to be upset, she then reassured him that he should not be worried at all that she is alright. This means she has no intention of being the "real wife" so they can continue to be platonic lovers 😍
Ep 11 was full of tender moments between our CP. It is minimal touch, yet the intensity of their feelings is there, their longing, their worries, their caring in the way they look at each other, or/and tacitly reassure each other. It is impossible not to be moved by Jong Won performance, with his piercing eyes and loving expressions. Honey Lee is amazing as the action-brave woman, in this ep very much broken-hearted by the end. We went on this journey with her with the hope of finding his brother, all so sad. Just a side info, if you follow them on Insta, you will notice neither of them has a photo together while they have photos with all the other members of the cast. I think this has been done intentionally so as not to raise the expectation of the audience that this is a romantic CP or a kind of rom-com which is not. It is much better than that. (Of course, Honey Lee is married but I think this is not much of a consideration and is more to manage the audience's expectations).
First of all, I wonder how many of us around the world watching this drama know of the existence of THC? I did…
It is really very confusing/contradictory. because if you say they were "made a couple" even if we don't know the end of the storyline, what was the need for making them a couple? Do you understand our frustration? It looks we are already giving away the ending, which is ridiculous as it is a spoiler. On the other hand, what's the point of "creating" a CP if it is not to give them a typical Thai BL ending.
