Come on! Acting is a job and kissing is an added difficulty in a role. You need to get friends in the acting profession…
Your comment is unsavory. Javier Bardem was asked how it felt to kiss one of the most beautiful actors (Penelope Cruz) and he told the journalist literally: "What a crass, distasteful question" I did not want to use these words when I respond to your comment but this is how actors' view these kind of comments. I have friends in the acting profession and some of them properly hate kissing scenes sometimes they don't feel comfortable sometimes it is far too much work because it takes lots of shots to get it right.

I hate that redundant Yura character has taken the screen time of other endearing characters in the series!!!

Preview ep 12 - who else was like, what?? Now FL "has" to seduce her evil ex WTF honestly. (and I love the series but this sounds like a bad joke!)

yu jihyuk fiancée concept is a flaw in the drama... and i didn't understand why did she kiss minhwan ?
I agree. Lazy writing, just a filler

Ep 13 - Ha Yoon an Yi Kyung (villain couple) amazing performances. Top actors they are showing their best in roles so different to others in their careers. In Ep 13 their characters show not to be evil but to be deranged, barking mad. In my delulu mind I was expecting they will keep some tenderness between them, but not, they are holding into each other from the very worst part of their characters. We can anticipate a very bad ending for them. Was I the only one who wanted them to continue like a pair of married losers?

I did a rewatch of the first four episodes with the background information now and noticed some things I hadn't…
Thank you, re: point 6 I also re watched and came to a completely different conclusion. They both said clearly it was only physical in the past and it looks Phee is playing a bit to get close to Jin again because we know now Phee arrived to this point seeking the truth/revenge

I'm glad someone said something about the CP's and shipping thing, I kept scrolling past the shipping comments…
You are totally right, I have also risen my expectations. This is a good series and they are keeping our attention on the complexity of the plot. I really hope they keep this level until the end.

It is not a minor issue in the series but a major fault. Other people have pointed out this.

Title My Demon
I just wanna be honest and say that song kangs acting in this drama is horrendous and his looks literally save…
It is all a matter of personal taste and opinion, you obviously ship him with another CP, otherwise, you would have not mentioned Nevertheless. We have read it all in this forum.
Check the rating of Nevertheless and the reviews of Song Kang performance in that series were bad. Nevertheless was the reason I swore not to watch any other Song Kang performance but I am a fan of the FL here and Song Kang was a good CP for her. Would I watch another Song Kang series? Probably not.

There is a person from Thailand here in the forum who keeps bringing the opinion of the actors concerning the characters and I was really taken aback by what he said, the actor who plays the teachers said. I never watched a programme/interview with the actor. However, if you say that the actor who plays the teacher said that "the teacher was Non's type" is also very unsavoury, sorry I find this comment really shallow considering what we were watching: an appalling behaviour by a teacher.

They are all kids the difference is they did harm to Non while Non didn't harm them.None of those kids has to…
Exactly! I think people come to this series after watching a previous reality programme by Be on Cloud? It was called The Hidden Character that I not even know existed until I read comments in this forum. Because of that, you have these Ta / Copper shippers that are totally alien to the rest of the audience that come here to watch a good BL. Of course some of us know Ta and Barcode from KP but they were not a CP there so everything feels totally new. By the way, amazing performance by Barcode and Ta, what a great surprise/bonus. Let's follow the storyline as you say, it does not make sense that there is an honest relationship between Phee and Jin since at the moment it looks like Phee "entangles" with Jin to infiltrate the gang, so much that Jin said to Phee complaining: you never consider me more than your friend, this means that was only physical and was never love, so how people is expecting a "love story"!? Of course, this is fiction and everything can happen, is up to the writers but it would be a let down.

After reading some comments it felt like Non was the only kid in the show. & Jin and his friends are responsible…
They were late teenagers, not small kids, but there is one of them, Non, who is systematically abused. His mental health, his self-esteem is severely affected by the bullying he encounters. So he is in real disadvantage to defend himself. They all gang against him. This is called victimisation.

Well said. Phee and Jin should not finish together to be fair to the storyline. I would like this. However, this is fiction so anything could happen. Let's see what the writers decided.

For all of those in this forum trying to defend this gang and judging Non as he is in the same position as them. First of all, none of them were small kids, including Non, they were late teenagers. However, Non is systematically abused. His mental health and his self-esteem is severely affected by the bullying he encounters. They all gang against him from their privileged position. This is called victimisation. Please do not lose objectivity about the issues presented in the series because you like and actor or you are shipping a particular CP. That's fine if you like actors or CPs, but keep the planes separated and do not mix them up to defend bullies and other inexcusable behaviours.

Can you spoil what they do to Non....I haven't been able to bring myself to watch the latest episode! I'm so nervous…
Non was knocked down and taken to the gangster by Tee. Nobody knew was happened to him and they denied in front of the police that Non was ever with them in the jungle property despite the desperation of Non's parents, nobody believed it. Father of Phee tells Phee that the higher rank decided to stop the investigation because the conclusion is that he ran away with the teacher but he told Phee that he does not believe it for a second that they were made to disappear probably murdered, then is when Phee decides to take revenge and/or find out the truth. It is very sad when he recalls his time with Non. He truly loved him.

Somebody mentioned here that the actor said that the teacher only has good intentions and that the sex was "extra". I do not even know what "extra" means because I was shocked by what I saw on my screen. I could mention all the elements that the directors used in that scene to make it look like rape. The intention was to make us feel uncomfortable about it.
On Dead Friend Forever - DFF Feb 12, 2024
Actors' opinions about their roles it is just that, an opinion, as valid as us the audience. The series is filmed for us, we come to decide based on what they are feeding us through the final product. If the guy playing the teacher tries to justify the teacher's behavior to show his character in a "good" light, it does not mean we have to support/validate his opinion. The teacher's behavior was terrible, and the same with most of the other characters. So don't take what actors are saying about their roles as something to follow. Form your own opinion.
