It is important to understand that Non was abused by his teacher. He was deprived of everything at that point and he offered him help, like all abused people he reacted -not acted- to the teacher's advances. The sex scene look like rape to me. It was very uncomfortable watching. Barcode portrayed that sense of abandonment to the predator perfectly. Tan (Phee) rage reaction is visceral, he felt deeply hurt but later he realised what his lover went through with that teacher and it is an important piece to understand the storyline. Very good acting by Ta as Phee too. For those who did not recognise him, the teacher is the actor that portrayed Time in Kinn Porsche, finally given the opportunity to actually act.

This series belongs to Barcode, what an amazing performance. Such a complex multilayer character. He even has me guessing where his morals lie on,. He is not "just" a bullied boy. He is tremendously smart, he is capable of falling in love with Tan's character despite his self-esteem being on the floor, the relationship with his teacher, though the teacher is a typical abuser, is also not crystal clear, still the sex scene feels like rape to me. The second surprise to me is Tan as a love-struck boy. He really conveys how much he loves Barcode's character, the way he looks at him at the beginning of their relationship, I totally believe him. I am so glad both Barcode and Tan have been given this opportunity. Tan also did well in his sex scene with Copper but (sorry to the Tan/Copper shippers) that was just a typical Thai BL hot scene, Barcode and Tan together are the real deal as a power CP. The other boys' performances though not bad at all fall behind. I hope we can see more of Barcode/Tan in the future with a good script though I see Barcode future going beyond BL series now.

Platonic love in abundance (CP lead), we don't know if there will be an actual relationship. Side characters have fallen in love, maybe there. This series is excellent on action comedy and is worth every minute of your time.

Ep 9 and 10 "belong" to Lee Jong Won in his ML role. What a performance! This is a top actor that can convey all the emotions without uttering many lines. The worry, the hurt, the longing, the love all portrayed in that beautiful painting-like face of him. For me this is one of the finest Korean actors nowadays. Why is the reason he has not been offered central lead roles in the past? Luck/influence is a bit factor in all entertainment industries but we also know in Korea physical presence is important and although Jong Won has the most beautiful face he is not "that tall". MLs in Korea are now towering tall even though they don't have the acting quality of Jong Won. I am only speculating of course but that's my impression. Jong Won is not yet 30 years old, though quite close, I really hope after his amazing job in Knight Flower he gets the recognition that he deserves.

Did I get actors' names wrong? The characters are Jin and White. It is just an idea, they are not together in the series.

I think this series has been good to leave our imagination soar because I was looking at other possible CP combinations. Yes ta copper, but also I would like them try Copper/Fuaiz characters, they are the pretty-faced boys there and in ep 1 they have a brief encounter but everybody else got jealous. I am not keen in Fuaiz/ Jjay characters CP, too much of a contrast suggests a kind of dominant-submissive relationship which I really dislike. I thought in other possible combinations too. It is not only typical hate, but the amount of misogynistic comments is awful. These haters assumed we are all fans of Song Kang and not that we simply like K rom coms! (this is me) I have been insulted in terrible ways only for saying I like the series. I have to block 4 people. If somebody insulted me this way in the street I would have had grounds to make a complaint in the police station for gender violence!

I know people are all busy commenting about the different plot lines here I simply cannot stop thinking of how on earth Be on Cloud did not give Ta and Barcode a series as a CP earlier!? They look so good together. This could have been a powerful CP but instead, they insisted on pushing Jeff and Barcode together which I found creepy. Jeff is a wonderful artist at all levels but I always thought there was something fundamentally wrong to cast him with Barcode.

It is not a small detail, other viewers have expressed their concern about how mental health is misrepresented in this kind of series. It is important.

Thank you. For the same reason that here is 8. A new drama will always go to the top of the list if it is a bit popular. My Demon was top of the list on Netflix for various weeks. Marry my husband keeps top of the list in Amazon Prime for 6 weeks maybe? So let's see.

I know it does not affect other users who have to read such hideous comments, but I feel so thrilled when I block all these haters here. I accept some people do not like it. I so don't like Doctor Slump, but others love the series, we are all different we have different opinions but why the super offensive comments??? come on, get a life, you did not like it say it move on, don't offend others for liking it or being so hypercritical. I highly recommend the series to anybody who is hesitant to watch it. Don't pay attention to the "latecomers" party poppers here.

I never understood why this drama got high ratings here. I guess the leads have a strong fan base as it happens. I find it hyper melodramatic with no purpose, very very slow with very few endearing moments. I thought the acting of the leads was poor. To keep the melodrama they resource to display 1 or 2 facial expressions. I guess some people love this kind of hyper melodrama, not me. I persevere to the end, but it made for a painful viewing.

The only way to explain the high rating of this drama is because Hyung Sik/other actors fan bases. We have seen it with other dramas in MDL, all the fans vote and the drama gets high scores. Hyung Sik is a sound actor that I like and follow but this series does not deserve an 8. The humor is so lame. It is cringy at moments. Other people are pointing out the shortcomings of this series too (see below) so I am not the only one feeling disappointed overall. I keep watching because I am still waiting that something deserves the high rating, but how this can have the same score as Marry My Husband or higher than Knight Flower? 🙄

Personal Weatherman- I still don't know how they pull that one off. The actors did incredible with such poor material and have had more contracts for photoshoots in magazines and contracts abroad than my Beautiful Man CP.

I love the novel! It is written by an award-winning writer. Super high-quality writing. I savored every phrase. yes, I recall he acknowledges himself as gay in the novel but I don't recall it in the live version though Kiyoi quite proudly announced that he is dating a man, and also in series 1 he asked Hira if he likes boys, and was quite puzzled by his reply. I like the actors too how much they embrace these characters and how proud they are about them, even now. I know I am a moving countries but the lead of Korean Taxi Driver who is a top actor there, started in a gay movie and he is so proud about this performance he often mentions it and he is still best friends with his CP. What a contrast with Keito Mashida (Cherry Magic)! I also did not watch the film because of this.
