The best thing about the ending of this series is that i dont feel tempted to visit this forum that have been a pain all along. It started with the pathetic RL fanatics, then came the pseudo moralist idiots and then the second CP syndrome sufferers and those non discerning viewers who elevated to heavens a series mediocre in execution. i liked the series very much but didnt fulfil my expectation. Except for Elliot, the casting was wrong. Yes including LPE that is a sound actor but obviously didnt want a kissing scene in a BL. So i dont know why the fuss about the 2nd CP. Mediocre dubbing, editing, lighting. Poor direction. The story was original. It was about an Enigma and Alpha love story. Should I shout that one!? So I blame the PR and the fanfare for Desire4 to fuel the nonsense of the 2nd couple supporters. So immature to vote down a series because people dont like the ending. It happens all the time in MDL that it looks a club of obnoxious teenagers. Bye to the most discerning commentators in the forum. I admire your resiliance.
Could you clarify how there is not "proper" kissing in Chinese BLs??? RL is full of kissing, so far I…
I disagree with you totally, that it is in Hollywood, and in a very old fashion Hollywood or Disney kind of fantasy. The rest of the world does not really produce any film/series high or low quality with a ending kiss because is a gimmick. and old trick.
She committed suicide on his birthday!!!! This cannot be denied.
Oh please!!!! that you want to defend this lair because he is your idol is one thing, but they were a couple. he himself acknowledge he knew her for years and she, not the other 34 people that you mentioned, had a story with him!!! So she committed suicide on his birthday!!
Rewatching - ep 10 to 12 - The Love that We Made Kill to love - how unfortunate name in English - original: "The Eternal Silence of Mountains and Rivers" is a powerful, intense, passionate, love story, and it is until the end. It grabbed me since the first stills were released and it greatly surpassed all my expectation: this is a BL masterpiece indeed. The last three eps - which predominant colours are golden. red and black - with hints of whites/almost white reminding me the concept of the "sacrificial lamb" in critical moments. These episodes are full of a heartbreaking sensuality. Every fits of anger in Zi Ang is a cry of wanting to possess ShuHe again - like a portrayal of the old Freudian theory that awareness of death heightens sexual desire. The golden scene - Start well in prison, "Ziang" SH called with a mix of pain and seduction, in bed SH looking more beautiful than ever with a shoulder expose, his lover tied up with golden lace. SH holding a knife, there is jealousy and there is a turn of tides. What we are watching? it looks like a sex scene, but the dialogue is piercing. The red scene - (the favourite of the director) - Everything is so intensely reflected from the Zi Ang red robe in the bath tube to ShuHe and Zi Ang delivering every world with a cadence that express the pain of their lost story and their current sexual longing. It is a mutual seduction interchange, that bear fruits. I believe they become physical intimate again here and continue until the Lantern Festival. The white/black scene - The saddest of all the scene for me happens here, in the Lantern Festival night. Shu He going against his heart doing all "for others" the white is his predominant colour. Zi Ang in full dark robe that in the night at the critical moment look like black. Cruelty, is the word in both lovers lips. The red/gold scene - Marriage. The series brings us the first wedding in a Chinese BL, but for me is so melancholic. When I imagined LWJ and WWX wedding in The Untamed I saw it as a celebratory, pretty, cheerful affair. Years by, we have this, and maybe we have better. Two "old" lovers, that know each other wounds around their bodies and souls, bound themselves for eternity, eager to seize those husbands moments. Black/Golden scene - ShuHe wanted to recover his freedom and dignity, not to escape Zi Ang, but to chose him again and again for the whole eternity. What a beautiful story to be told. My heart is full of gratitute to all those who made it possible šā¤ļø

They don't have a 3 year contract. This was a rumour created by the fans among other stupidities that circulate in the net. Like Elliot and Kipuka 8 years relationship. they are together in some way or form for 3 years. Elliot said it himself!
I think this kind of series need to show full pregnancy like people shows the pregnancy of women, big belly, child…
Could you clarify how there is not "proper" kissing in Chinese BLs??? RL is full of kissing, so far I understand because I only watch until ep 5. This one has lots of kissing, maybe not very good, but lots. Kill to Love the winner with lots of long kissing scenes, including tongue kissing. Even the not very good ones have kissing. Meet you at the Blossom, the boys kiss alright. There have been a couple that were not really BLs, like the new version of Addicted only have a cheek kissing.
Petition for season 2. Spreas the word.https://boysloveinsider.com/abo-desire-season-2-official-fan-petition
Absolutely not!!! If this only season hardly manage to scrap an 8 here, I cannot imagine how bad would be the 2nd season!! Let them finish with certain dignity and let's all move on.
Have you read through the wonderful reply @Jasprin had to my accusations regarding Huai Yi? https://kisskh.at/discussions/788946-shan-he-yong-ji/145662-duan-huai-yi-beloved-long-lost-brother-or…
How brilliant your court case Yerisina, I have missed it before! - actually I am with your original arguments!
Coming back here after rewatching episodes 8-12 and left ponderingā¦.what drove Huai Yi to grow into what he…
I have re-watched three times and still have the same questions as you. He looks like disliking ShuHe from the first moment he saw him despite he facilitated the reunion with his brother. He became obsessive in his loyalty to his brother at some point that he took cruel decisions in order to protect him and the North Kingdom, like killing the prisoners of war. He thought if we free these ones they will turn against us and he was right, that was the plan by ShuHe and his guards all alone. What an irony, because Huai Yi was not the real brother of Zi Ang, he belonged to the Zuan family, Zi Ang was the prince of Jibei as he discovered. I think HY definitely lied to SH about who killed the prisoners of wars, better to say, I don't think he said it expressly but he let SH misunderstood that one. When SH takes the decision of committing suicide he was thinking that he would be spare no mercy the second DZA die. It is what it transpired by his conversation with his doctor. Let's remember that at DZA death Hua Yi will become regent. The doc assure him he can help him escape but SH was tired of this life. He has so much guilty on him about everything. So I have concluded, thought not 100% convinced, that Hua Yi motivation was his brotherhood, but also a power ambition.
Unappropriated questions - I wish Chinese fans were not so aggressive. They take advantage that both are quite candid. If they keep doing this we are going to loose the best part of this relationship and it is the spontaneity. Because that quality, their relationship looks genuine. While fan service is of benefit of their actors and the agencies, Jin kissing Xu in the airport did not have any benefit for them, on the contrary. It is a first one for a Chinese BL CP. Not even Elliott and Kipuka, the rumoured "real couple" of ABO has done something like that. They have all this cuddly attitude while filming, yet in their wide public performances, they avoid contact despite the fans scream for "a kiss". It is the easiest way to get cancelled. Jin action was a spirit of the moment affair. I wish Chinese fans could be less selfish. Following an actor/actors is also caring and respect them . Of course, there is the issue as well that these "fans" sell those videos for profit or disseminate them for traffic. Here 2 examples, there are more but these make me cringe so I stop here: https://x.com/yunton37496913/status/1976911078346178592 https://x.com/yunton37496913/status/1976886525880361061
