need to see duan zi ang (zzx) in more shows. he has nothing after this hopefully that changes...
Post KTK. He has been filming at the same time than MiJin in a separate project in Hengdian. MiJin went to visit him in set. Lots of project are not announced even less in MDL. It looks they had some days off so they could come together to record lives and vblogs.

The novel does not give the couples equal time, it is mainly about HY and SSY. Their story doesn't even get wrapped…

They would. I’ve never really been active in BL fandoms on social media, but is this kind of behavior common?…
Yes. I have read comments here that are actually pathetic.

wait! the poison DZA takes when he's asked to kill Shu He, is it the one that he suffers from later? Also does…
That was not a poison. It was fake a trick the chief assassin played on him. He was the son of the emperor so he was spare because of this.DZA died from an illness that all elite assassin suffer from. It is believe the training and diet (probably with toxic ingredients ) damage their internal organs in the long term. ShuHe knew from DZA brother he was dying for this inexplicable disease. All elite assassins die on their prime.

The first couple is very boring, Gao Tu should be the protagonist.
Then it should be based on another narrative!!!?

The Nongjian sisters gave the four great actors a chance to shine. The actors are very comfortable with each other…
I don't understand what the fuss is about but I kind of blame the promotion of the series before releasing. I read the novel before so I couldn't understand why they were promoting 2 CPs there was not enough narrative to have a second CP to be honest.

I always interpreted that Shu He entered the court because of the "favor" Prime Minister Gu asked of him…

Just my opinion, but Im seeing progress in HY’s personality, and maybe I’m the only one noticing it. 1. For…
Precisely. SSY was not a green flag by any account. He used lovers and disposed them as nothing. He was ruthless in business and dismissing of people. It is HY who changed him too. This manipulator was capable of bringing SSY vulnerability to the surface, so it was a mutual nourishing to make them change for the better.

On a related note even the CP of Kill to Love had a good laugh about them having kids in one of their last live. MiJin asked ZheXu what have you being looking in the internet? ( indirectly referring to info about ABO) So funny. You may know, their characters actually get married in the series.

Re-watching - ep 4 - Festival date
Shu He entering the court- SH was always tempted to enter the court to avenge his mother, but he knew was going to be taken as challenging the throne. He took the final decision to have more political leverage to protect DZA.
Before going he tell DZA: "the only priceless thing in this world is the love between two people, and i have that" looking at DZA directly into his eyes.
DZA past - we learnt here that DZA real mother (a maid in the Jibei palace) gave her baby to the Jibei guard who took it to the Duan family. He lost also that family and was taken by Jibei elite assassins. DZA had a painful uprooted past. When finding love he attached to it with claws and teeth as we will see later on. ShuHe was the only home he wanted.
Interesting subtlety - ShuHe didnt reject DZA because he wanted to kill his brother. He was concern he was defending Jibei interests and could harm the South Kingdom.
He gave the opportunity to DZA to come clean, he didnt took it. So he trusted him again, but events unfolding will realise his own words "Trust is a fragile thing" .
Festival date - they are beautiful in their masks and happy in their mutual longing.
