I tried to watch the ABO live from yesterday (I never watch the lives), and honestly it was frustrating, apart from all the silly things that they made them do. It is a mess. Elliot was giving a heartfelt explanation why he chose autumn to represent Kipuka and Jiang Heng was being obnoxious and hitting LPE in the back with a loud voice. I hardly could hear Elliot. Elliott is the one who is more articulated among them and speak beautifully his education and sensitivity as an artist coming through. Kipuka does not have the gift of the word but what he says is just right and he is very complimentary of Elliot. He always refer to him by his real Chinese name not by his fictional name. He described Elliott as winter because it looks cold outside but if you go inside is all warm. So sweet. Another lovely thing he say is about how good Elliot is at showing his vulnerable side so it is inspiring for him to let her emotions flow and get into character. This was in the first 20 minutes because after this I stopped and left the room!

The live series fail in providing SSY background. Until meeting HY he was a very arrogant, domineering, competitive guy who used lovers and disposed them after 1,2,3, months. He was well known for not wanting romantic attachments and for her dismissive attitude toward colleagues in business. A man like this will never fall for HY without manipulation. Even when he met HY first time as an adult he was also dismissive toward him. Why HY is obsessed with him? because he met him as children and made an impression in him. Thats the only reason provided. This is a story within the Omegaverse genre, a "hunt" is always centre plot.

Yes, unfortunately, fujoshi everywhere can be very homophobic. The other subject it is about fans behaviour. Again they engage in all sort of extreme behaviour, like follow them everywhere. What also shock me is the antagonistic views between shipping fans and non shipping fans. Shipping fans go to extreme to proof that actors who are clearly straight (with a past history of relationship with women) are "together", they cannot accept this is a professional job. On the other hand, are the fans who are the opposite who would murder anybody who suggest that their favourites could not be straight (and won't marry them 🙄) and are viciously defending an heteronormative view . In the case of ABO Li Pei En is clearly not enjoying fan service, he is alright and friendly with his CP, but it is just not his thing, it is quite obvious. I don't like Sisters Nong forcing this agenda on this CP. Elliot and Kipuka are clearly having the time of their lives. People are different, it is the same in mainstream dramas. This is not the first time that fujoshi refer to being gay as a kind of crime or indecency. Apologies for provide you with partial information but it is precisely this partial information or manipulation of facts who damage the actors. If they are a couple or not, it is their business. I would love for them to be a happy gay couple but we will never know and this is alright. They want a career in showbiz, this is their choice and, sadly, they need to follow "the rules of engagement". shipping fans and non shipping fans should respect this equally.
