Glad you noticed. I'm finding it totally distasteful. It does reflect the Chinese and Korean values I'm afraid. This is a very forced ship at some point LPE was disengaged and tired. Totally different than Elliot and Kipuka that obviously, have a special relationship.

Their accents is what they see as a problem. I dont know why. They all come from different parts of China. E.g the Beijing accent is very strong so that have to go for sure in period dramas that are not about Beijing people.

It is all dubbing in The Untamed. Yibo was offered to dub his part but he declined. At present both dub all their works.

It is actually very annoying!!! Most top actors nowadays want to dub their own series, so at least we are hearing their voices.

It is a Chinese thing! - they want perfect diction and accents. I understand this with period dramas, but not with modern ones like this one. the film sound experts must be very scarce in China!

I saw it yesterday. It is shocking. I think the craziness is with Elliott because in the one I watched from another angle I could hear the voices and they were screaming Elliot name (his Chines name) and only his. In previous videos was the same. I am glad Kipuka is fearless to protect his partner.

I think the Omegaverse genre is not for everybody taste. It is a world of predators, inspired by the behavior of the wolf pack. I wouldn't like to spend too much time in the genre. I like this series very much because I have read the novel before, and I am mesmerised by the chemistry between Elliott and Kipuka (Enigma/alpha) but I don't think I would ever be a fan of the Omegaverse.

Indeed. The Omegaverse is an wild world. They are hunters and he is stalking his prey. I believe that they try to present a world turn upside down after the virus and in this world pheromones and all that stuff is important. I agree that the dialogue in the series and even the narrative in the novel is not enough to understand what we should be interested in all this background history.

Yes, I was trying to remember who was the one that many people say it is in the wrong CP because the other guy is not good actor. yes, it is Gun! but the shipping fans go crazy. In China there are myriad of shipping fans but they don't expect the actors to act together what they do is supporting them in their individuals work. I am totally agree that it is really good to see a fab CP acting together again. There are quite a few in China. I so enjoying see their new works. These people can come together every 2, 3 or more years. Nobody expect them to repeat the formula all the time. It is the same with Korean actors.

The worst is that they pair very capable actors with very mediocre ones and these guys are stuck in their careers like this. There are quite notable cases like this. when they try to pair them differently, the fans go crazy. I think some actors have started to refused this formula. Is it not Gavin who does not want to repeat CP? I think he is one of them. I hope more Thai actors refuse to do this. the point is that the shippers spend a lot of money on them so it is more revenue for the actors.

I agree with a comment from @danny_elle1908 . This is false news. What it has been created is the ship. There is an "official" XingQui CP fandom now, with a terrible name if you ask me "cups"!?, the color it is good - purple. There are myriad of these ship fandom in China. They get together and do charity work, fundraising, go to fan meeting in an organised way and things like this.
