The famous nepo baby of the Chinese c industry is Chen Feiyu (Arthur Chen) son of acclaimed Chinese director Chen Kaige (Farewell My Concubine) and actress Chen Hong. Fans of The Untamed are not particularly fond of him as he made negatives comments about idols turning actors and he said it on the top of the popularity of The Untamed. So everybody knew who he was referring to.

For me this BL did not sustain the energy towards the end. It was a good effort, there were original elements but they were just repeated scenes. I got fed up with all the display of affection by Tada and they relied on sex scenes to fill the last eps. Pond overacts all the time, when he does not he delivers very well and has a serene beauty. His kisses were so exaggerated. I don't know why he has to open the mouth like he was going to eat a truck. Peterpan (what a name!) did well and have super chemistry with Pond. Bom, what was that? I guessed he was inspired by a cartoon character. The rest of the cast did a good job. I am giving it an 8/10 for the storyline and good effort of all the cast.

Glad you noticed. I'm finding it totally distasteful. It does reflect the Chinese and Korean values I'm afraid. This is a very forced ship at some point LPE was disengaged and tired. Totally different than Elliot and Kipuka that obviously, have a special relationship.

Their accents is what they see as a problem. I dont know why. They all come from different parts of China. E.g the Beijing accent is very strong so that have to go for sure in period dramas that are not about Beijing people.

It is all dubbing in The Untamed. Yibo was offered to dub his part but he declined. At present both dub all their works.
