The poster assigned to Splish Splash Love is actually that of The Diary of a Resentful Woman.
I'm watching a bunch of the new shows and there's quite a few that seem really promising. My favorites so far are Cheese in the Trap and Kaitou Yamaneko.
I gave it a try for the cast, not expecting to actually like the show. But I absolutely loved the first ep! It's fun, hilarious, fast paced and unexpectedly also has some darkness and depth. The characters are awesome. Seems like the cast is having a blast, and it's infectious!
I wish Jin Woo was a bit smarter. It's kind of frustrating that he's always a few steps behind =(
I'm not saying it's either the plot or his character. It's the combination that is unfavorable and makes him seem dumb. That's why I see the fault in the writing. I never said I expected a genius in this show and I have absolutely no problem with non-genius characters, I rather prefer them actually, they're more realistic. I don't think there's something inherently wrong with Jin Woo or that he really is dumb. He's smart enough, even if he's no genius. But the way the show is written, it's super easy to get frustrated with him because the audience is always way ahead of him. Hence he comes off as dumb. That's why I want him to either smarten up or the execution to adjust so that we're at his level and that's more fun as a viewer.
On a sidenote, if someone prepares for 4 years to get revenge, I kinda do expect them to have a plan besides applying for retrail. But I won't hold that against a 18-22 year old. And when he said he'd never trust a prosecutor again, I'd assumed he included all law enforcers involved. Apparently not.

Maybe I have more of a problem with how that whole thing was orchestrated than with Jin Woo falling for the scheme. It felt super rushed and fake from the first step on. Starting with the bathtub scene murder instigation, somebody called someone, but how did that info get to Jin Woo in the first place? Does he have a spy in place? Does that mean both Soo Beom and Joo Il placed that convo there on purpose, or was one of them not in on the plan? That scrap yard scene was ridiculous. Who would try killing someone quietly with SO many people? And in this way? If they had written it to play out more believable, then viewers could've bought it. And if you're not just waiting for your hero to find out something but are surprised yourself or at least were in doubt, then you don't think he's stupid. But the way it seems to me, they didn't even make an effort.
I cannot begin to express how disappointed in this drama I am. Even after the tearjerker tonight. And I did cry.…
I agree. It's totally the writing, cause all actors are doing their best with the limited material the skript provides. Still hoping for it to get better again in the last half! Don't want to watch a makjang cryfest >.<

You're probably right about that part being realistic, at least in the first trial. But after 4 years of preparation and knowing the extent of corruption I think he should be a little more wary of people. I mean, I bet he was the only one who didn't know that officer was faking.
Exactly how many episodes is this? It's either 16 or 20
That's because anyone can edit details on a show at MDL as long as they present a valid source.
Dramawiki as well as the Korean wikipedia list the episode total at 20, so I guess those sources were used.
That is such a weird poster for this drama. It makes it seem more like a bubbly, screwball show, when in reality it's dark and contemplative. There isn't even half as much color in the whole first ep! It's really intriguing so far though. Can't wait to find out more!
This movie was really good. I find Hirose's acting to be lacking, but Yamada totally makes up for it. They have great chemistry and lots of tension filled moments, making it easy to get absorbed. I especially liked the pacing and the focus on the small, everyday interactions :)
She's...too cute...be warned! I was watching 2 minutes in and was totally drawn in by her cuteness
Ikr! 2 minutes in is when I realized I'll have to watch this to the end because she's too darn cute! Lucky for me the story doesn't fall short either ;)
I just found this blog and thought you guys might be interested as well: http://bodashiri.tumblr.com/
It contains lots of historical facts and background info to every episode of Six Flying Dragons!
I quite like this show because the characters are so relatable and cute, but it's funny how this story would work exactly the same if Yui was a boy. I'd not recommend this show if you're looking for something actually about same-sex relationships but rather if you're just looking for a sweet romance.
