I agree that this drama got really bad and messy, but I can't help caring for the characters anyway. I blame the actors, because the writing is obviously not this drama's forte.
Ep 8 had me grinning like a fool (that wink!) and then crying at the end. The writers are really skilled at hitting just the right balance! So much fun and heartache
Ep 10 reminded me why I fell in love with this show in the first place =D So glad, because the last 2 eps were…
I think it's because both girls' objective is looking good in front of their respective crush and Young Eun felt that Ye Na cared only about herself and Woo Hyun without considering her concerns regarding Sung Yeol.
Which is basically true if you ask me but still no reason to misstreat someone like that. It's not like one of them is less selfish than the other anyway.
So in saying she can't lie for Ye Na anymore because of her conscience, she wanted Sung Yeol to think she's a good girl... is what I understood, but the reasons are a bit wishy-washy.
Ep 10 reminded me why I fell in love with this show in the first place =D So glad, because the last 2 eps were hard to watch (because of the preemptions it felt much longer than 2 eps though...)
No tension or chemistry whatsoever, got bored to the point I had to speed-watch to even finish it (which I normally don't do at all). Some of it made me laugh out loud because of the silliness.
Of course the issue is dramatised here, but I really like their way of subtly criticising a recent development in society.
Also, Watanabe Konomi is amazing as Nao. Recommended!
This is a show were you can see all the effort they put in trying to move you with so very much drama and I don't like when it's so obvious. Add to that all the preachy speeches and an annoyingly perfect eldest brother. I also didn't like how their ultimate method of solving every problem is fighting it out.
It's not that it's a bad drama or anything, but I failed to connect. The whole cast is a treat though.
I actually like what they went for with the ending because that seems the most realistic to me - and this drama's…
That's why I don't like how they got the outcome in the end. I meant that Rikako going back and Sawa/Kitano not getting a fairytale ending are realistic, but I wish we had gotten there differently.
I actually like what they went for with the ending because that seems the most realistic to me - and this drama's strong point was that it felt so real (at least until about halfway through).
I don't like HOW they did it though. Some of it was forced and out of character or just confusing...
I got a bit confused at the beginning trying to keep track of all the characters but by now I'm absolutely hooked. This ist just what I was hoping for, so many intriguing characters =D
