I have to say that I loved this whole drama except for episodes 9 and 10. Episode 9 kinda frustrated me because…
Yeah, actually I kinda said that in my other comment (on a spoiler) but... I guess I thought maybe they did it properly cos Tarareba Girls suprised me by having a more or less good ending so I thought maybe this was the same, since everybody liked it. But yeah I don't like it either when they screw up the ending, sometimes I just google "good ending" with the jdrama I'm watching just in case, to see what people are saying about the end lol
And I wanted her to end with Tako, but I understood that the flow of the story ment that she needed to date Yukito, but not even that. The whole reason to not date him was ridiculous and there's no way they can stay friends when they're atracted to each other.
Oh well, lately japanese dramas don't know how to end things properly.
I have to say that I loved this whole drama except for episodes 9 and 10. Episode 9 kinda frustrated me because I could not understand why she was in such a state, and 10 because well... I don't want to do spoilers but sometimes they just don't want to end it the "cliche way" and instead ruin it because they don't have a good way to change the story or give you logical reasons for that decision, but they do it anyway.
Listen, way better a cliche ending than a bad one because it doesn't match the flow of the story or there's not a good reason to end it any other way, rather be cliche than try and suprise people but ruin it in the end. I don't know if they wanted to do a Special or what, but I'm not in.
I would say episodes 1-8 deserved a 8.5
episodes 9-10 more like a 5.5 or 6.
I was loving this show until episodes 6 & 7 when all got needlessly dramatic whitout logical reasons, you know, you can feel they dont know how to create drama and thought about the whole paparazzi thing in a kind of cheap way, it could have been resolved quite easy but, yea... I'm kinda tired of the whole "i'm gonna break up with you so I don't hurt you" thing when it's been stated a thousand times in japanese dramas that you're always hurting them more by getting away than by staying. It's just too cliche even for me (I like cliche but not this much). And the villain who doesn't have any reasons to be a villain and the brother who is against god knows why... the whole thing just got so ridiculous so quickly.
Sadly, at ep 7, I'm out.
Don't like this, dropped it already. Every characters behaviour seems like the last thing a normal person…
I don't mind aberrant behaviour, this is suspense/psychological genre after all, what I don't get is nonsensical/illogical behaviour, in almost every character. Even that little kid. Yep, not my cup of tea.
Loved this drama. Definitely the best japanese drama of 2016. It was cute, fun, romantic, really entertaining, not boring for one second. Really recommended.
Didn't like this. Nothing new, too "soap opera" like, too many hateful characters, female lead somehow managed to be an important doctor and still be the dumb woman who doesn't get anything. Not gonna keep watching, not even for Kimura.
This reminds me once again how Japanese screenwriters lack the ability to balance drama and humor, if we could…
It's not like the whole comedy in the show were those two words, I was just trying to say it's not as funny if you don't know japanese. You're not trying to say it's not funny cos it's not exactly a pun, right?
Anyway, this statement: "This reminds me once again how Japanese screenwriters lack the ability to balance drama and humor" is extremely unfair, there are many many japanese doramas that have made me laugh out loud many many times while being dramas. I suggest you watch Kudo Kankuro dramas (like Ryuusei no Kizuna or Kisarazu Cat's Eye) for a good combination of drama and humor.
Love the song by the way

I hate it!
