Just finished it today, and it was good if you're feeling like watching something cute, funny and not complicated.…
In a nutshell I would say these actors (and I mean all of the couples) didn't work enough on being comfortable with each other before the shooting began and that translated on the series. But hey, it wasn't bad.
Just finished it today, and it was good if you're feeling like watching something cute, funny and not complicated. Flaws I would say is that they dragged some parts (I think this could have been 8-10 episodes easily) and that the acting wasn't great, and they looked kinda awkward with the kisses and intimacy parts. Some scenes could have more tension but they made them simpler and resolved quickly even for me, and I hate drama. I think the writing wasn't perfect there. But still, it was cute, fun, and fluffy. I would recommend if that's what you're looking for.
xDDD dont worry about It, I just didn't say it properly, I could have used more words xD Let me know if u watch it! Even with its flaws I enjoyed it more than this one and it's really cute and fluffy
This wasn't great but not bad either... like meh? There's some serious flaws in the writing...
Like for example the change in Zheng Ze, it seemed like, random kisses aside, he didn't feel anything for Fu Li Gong and suddenly when the keychain happened he was madly in love? That's just bad writing. Then the whole unnecesary drama happens at the end with no good reason just so there can be conflict, another sign of bad writing. The side couple was cute tho. Besides that, the acting was good but I didn't feel any special chemistry between them. I mean, there was something there but not quite. The father redeemed himself a little at the end but wtf was all that shit with their mother, the father making his son feel bad for what it is a perfectly normal reaction towards the abandonement he suffered, and we back to another cliche which is horrible parents doing horrible things and their kids having to apologize instead of the parents. Yeah the more I think about it the more I think this was very poorly written.
For me this was not great. I mean, I didn't hate it, but it was weird. For me, either the dialogue wasn't clear or the subtitles weren't good enough, but I think they didn't discuss at the end the things that needed to be discussed, and I understand Da Un was the kind of person who doesn't really talk much and is closed about what he's feeling but for me it seemed like a couple who wouldn't last 5 minutes together after the way they handled the last conflict, and they got back together just after a "sorry I just wanted to do something for you because I liked you", what? There's no explanation to why Da On is the way he is, his personal life, his family life, and we get glimpses of what both families are like but the parents don't evolve or realise that they're hurting their kids and the kids just take it bc well, that's life. I don't know, I don't see the "beautiful" feeling everybody gets with this series, for me it was poorly written.
I guess they want to expand more on the second season but I don't know if they will do it properly and I don't know if I'll give it a try.
am the only one that felt kinda uncomfy while watching this? like idk what about it did but like the camera shaking/moving…

No but did Peat get real life hickeys cause I saw a few red spots on his chest during THAT scene dbwhbhefvewe
Girl, didn't you see how he was sucking on his skin like a vampire? and considering how white his skin is, its no wonder.... this special was too much, he was sucking on his n*pples like a mad man and when he takes his pants off you can kinda see peat's b*lls (with underwear of course, but omg)
If after this special, people still like more the payu-rain couple and think they have more chemistry than sky-prapai I seriously don't know what they're watching. Sky-Prapai had soooooooo much chemistry I could feel the sexual desire from a mile away. Their story was better, Sky kinda teasing kinda seeing how far he could go with prapai not doing anything against sky's wishes and being clear that he's not to mess with when the ex thing happened... Gosh I'm such a sucker for that couple, are they really not having something real on the side? cos maaaaaan -..... just wow..... wow.... the passion was coming out of the TV!
Payu-rain were kinda meh, the cosplay thing was funny but there was no real conflict there besides him missunderstanding a situation, and I still don't know what a guy like Payu sees in Rain when he's playing the dumb character all the time.... And the bed scene was okay but they didn't have the sexual tension they had in the series and the daddy thing with rain's voice was kinda cringy xD I think the writers can tell where the quemistry is cos I think we got more sky-prapai scenes and better ones than with Payu-Rain and even got the characters a proposal (almost) when there was no real progression with payu-rain.... Anyways, that's just my opinion. It's sad this is over tho :/
Story was good. Everything was so innocent and it really felt like adolescent love. The only thing I would say is bad is the kisses xDDD not very experienced kissers both couples from the looks of it. But it felt realistic in the sense that everybody's not good at it when they're starting xDD Rest was cute.
Personally I don't think this series is what you are looking for. It isn't a bad bl but for me it is not light…
Seriously, thank you. You're the first person to comment and recommend including the intimacy part and not get all "if you want porn just watch porn" on me. I enjoy the intimacy part, even if it's not a requirement on my part, you just sometimes feel like it. I watched Cherry Magic the series (I mostly watch jdramas and kdramas on the regular, thai bl is new to me) and loved it, and you don't even get a kiss there! But it was so much fun! I was giggling and laughing the whole time. I'm going to save all your comments in a txt and closely follow your lead xDDDD Thank you so much again!
i was always seeing comments about how ppl are mad that “there was no kiss scene” … i finally watched it…
If the actors aren't confortable with a kiss scene, why be in a BL show, then? Cos it's not like they're uncomfortable with kissing a girl, I'm pretty sure they've had kiss scenes in other dramas.... so.... that's what I don't get. I 100% agree they shouldn't kiss if they're uncomfortable with it, but I don't get why be a part of this project if that's the case....
why????? I really really liked way more 8-13 than 1-7
It could really well be because you were sleepy and that's it. For me 8-13 were way better than 1-7. Just give it a try, and try to be unbiased and you might surprise yourself.

My god, dbwhbhefvewe is right
