I liked it, but felt they dragged the story for too long after episode 10. Like it's hard to find dramas nowadays where the main couple don't kiss until last episode. I still don't understand the rule, I mean, I understand why he has a hard time with love but why enforce it on everybody else. Also Hank Wang is straight right? Cos he looked uncomfortable kissing a man xDDD I don't know.... they had more chemistry before kissing tbh...

I'm on episode 8 and Pi's still in love with the other guy instead of the main one. This is getting super frustrating. He's obsessed with the other guy that he barely knows and the denial with the main one is getting frustrating.

Even the things that needed to be explained on the first season, werent explained, the fact that there's going to be a second season doesn't justify all the bad writing this had.

Like for example, it started so dark, like two men of the night that looked almost like mafia members, and then by episode 4 it turned into normal university students and the darkness was gone. It was so funny to listen to the song "dancing with the devil", like, Mangkorn was a devil for like two seconds? Also Yai looked really masculine at the start, I guess to sell the image that he was a player with the ladies, but after a few episodes all I could see was a little kid, more close to what isbanky is really like. The s&m part was promising, like it explained why he was atracted to Mangkorn, since they started with violence, but that dissapeared too. Also if Mangkorn was so atracted to Yai from the start, what was that about with the girl he was making out with on the street, even after they had a thing going on. So many things the characters did didn't make any sense. The whole arranged marriage thing was stupid as hell. Like why would you say "hey i need to marry someone else, sorry" when you clearly have other options, and everyone is telling you that if you talk to your father the matter is settled. You're creating a problem where there isn't one. It's just bad writing to create drama. And then add the studying abroad thing, another bad strategy from bad writers. The going abroad thing: so it was supposed to be because he was running away from the arranged marriage thing, even though it was such an easy problem to fix, but then he says that doing that masters degree was something that he wanted to do since he was little? Make it make sense. Either you wanted to go to run away from your problems or you've always wanted to go. Also just a random thought, but mangkorn's tatoo was so very fake. Tattoos aren't that dark. I kinda started this because I felt like watching something "spicy" but... the sex scenes... I don't know if anybody thinks like me but the sex scenes I think were supposed to be frantic like 'we just can't stop cos we're so hot for each other' (like kinnporsche), but they came out kinda clumsy and uncoordinated, awkward and all over the place. I have to recognize tho, that the scenes about yai's mother, and when Mangkorn was leaving, did make me cry. But overall I didn't like this that much. Watched episode 7 and went to sleep, and I've never done that with just one episode left in a Bl before, I guess I wasn't that interested. I do not want a season 2 of this mess. I watched this bc I liked Mosbank, and they did their best with the script they had in front of them, but this mess is 100% bad writing all over the place. I'm okay with lazy writing sometimes, as in, there's not much happening there, but bad writing with characters that don't make any sense is just infuriating. Only thing I liked was the cinematography and the music, but of course it was not enough to compensate all the other bs. I wanna rate it a 5 or a 6 but will go for 7 solely bc of mosbank bc I would feel bad otherwise. I'm guessing that's also why it has a 7.4 rating and not lower than that which is probably what it deserves.

In the end of episode 8 I was almost like I'm gonna stop watching this. They managed to spend 8 episodes with the main couple liking each other (kinda) and not doing anything about it and by the end of ep 8 Bai Lang was like ok, I admit it, I like you too, and Jin Xun An was like now I'm not gonna be with you even tho I've been wanting to, just because? Thank god it didn't last long tho cos I was annoyed. Also the father thing. I understand my perspective as a westerner is not ideal, and that things are done differently there, as in, more old school, kind of what my grandparents did with my parents (and I'm 37 so it's really old school), but I also didn't understand the point, cos if your father is against a gay marriage, I doubt beating you and forcing you to beg for days is going to change his mind? Like those points of view are only changed thru experiences and learning, kind of in a more natural way, so what was the point of begging and enduring beatings for 10 days or so? I don't know. Also, I think the timing was off, doing that when the relationship is starting is bad timing. Secure your relationship first and then do that, so you don't make your really new boyfriend worry about the relationship when it just started like days ago. Also, another thing that was weird is that I could tell Bai Lang was into Jin Xun An because of how happy he was when he was with him but his inner dialogue and the dialogue with his friends before the relationship started didn't show how in love he was. Like I needed more expression of love from him, they needed to show more how he actually wanted to be with Jin Xun An and I think they failed at that. After the relationship started I think it got better. Also, the kisses. They werent bad... per se... but, I find it funny that the off-screen kisses from andy and yu-jin are better than the on-screen ones. I think it's because the characters were just likeable (Bai Lang was my favourite), nobody seemed annoying (except the sister sometimes) , and dragging things a little bit or beatings aside, the story was cute, serious enough, and there was chemistry there, I wish for a special or second season or something bc the other two couples were left there halfway thru their story with no ending at all, and it would be nice to see their wedding.

I agree with other people here, in the end he had more chemistry whith his friend, but of course considering the whole story I didn't want him to end with his friend so it was not great. They went all telenovela at the end with the friend having and accident and forcing so much drama there, but oh well. It was nice short entertainment, but definitely not the best korean bl out there.
Had to watch it raw because I couldn't find it with english subtitles. Didn't understand 100% (my japanese isn't perfect) but almost everything. I felt a lot of situations didn't cause the uproar they did in the western versions. Felt like everybody was like "oh well" about the whole thing and they tried too hard to make it a feel good situation, a moving scene about learning about your spouse; but what did you learn about it if you stay as you are... everybody forgiving their spouse's affair? it's ridiculous. I mean your husband is having a kid with another woman, come on! I understand Japan is weird about affairs, but I cannot relate at all. And what was that canned beef thing? At the end it looked like a 90 minutes long ad for canned beef, it was hilarious and not in a good way. Anyways, it's a 6 out of 10 from me, and I'm being generous. Btw, I didnt expect higashiyama to be the "single" character. I think that character should have been played by someone less atractive.
I agree with other comments that the punching was kind of too much, but the rest for me was right. It was cute, I think Jinwon reasoning was right, SanHa shouldn't be doing stuff just to be in Jinwon's life but be his own self with his own goals, and he should have gone to him and explain what was happening and not dissapear like that. Of course just punching him was ridiculous. But the rest was cute, and they had chemistry.
This needed like 5 more minutes of more explanation on what happens after and happiness after their reunion... like wth I also wanted more of a proper kiss! But it was nice nonetheless, good quality. But tbh this left me a little frustrated cos it needed more kisses or just 5 more minutes of them together. Btw Jang Eui Soo at the end with the hair pushed back was OMG handsome on another level. And he's a good actor too! Why is he not doing more stuff!
