I don't know how to feel about this drama. I wish they had concentrated in one thing, if it was sex it's sex if it was love it's love. What I mean is if she just wanted to discover good sex for the first time, and love wasn't in the mix, why were the sex scenes with ML so love-like? It didn't feel like they were enjoying sex together but making love from the start. Girl you knew what it was, why stop it all when the guy says it clearly outloud? Why behave like you're attached then kick him to the curve when he confesses? You need "time for yourself" and that lasts a month? Make it make sense.... It was like they couldn't focus the attention on one subject. If it was sex then it should be about physical desire all the way, but if you're gonna be romantic about it then give it a proper romantinc ending, cos this wasn't, this was like all over the place. For real I was liking it until like the last two episodes, which were fine but it felt like something was off all the time. Everybody was giving mixed signals, Secondary couple included. And the ML was written in such a way (like he was perfect) that you feel anger towards the FL for rejecting such a man after all she endured with the jackass of her ex-boyfriend. I understand wanting to think about yourself first specially after such a bad relationship but the ML was written as basically everything she wanted in a man. I don't know, I just feel wronged for some reason. And the sex-scenes with the main couple were so "dreamy" like, it didn't go with the tone of the rest of the series.... I think the writing wasn't good at the end. Still, I liked how cute this was and progressive for SK, that's a big plus. But... yeah, I think they didn't stick the landing.
If you're expecting the main couple in this to be together then it would be a sad ending. But this is not ment to be watched before the novelist, bc the actual main couple (kijima and kuzumi) gets together in that series, and this is just ment to be a look back on kijima's life and why is he the way he is. So I would recommend watching that one first, otherwise you'll be rooting for the wrong pair xD
Well, this was... not good. I mean, it's not forgettable, but there was so much unnecesary drama... every two episodes there was a new villain, those two boys had more enemies than the kardashians... And the cheap no-communication drama was a let down. Their chemistry wasn't bad, but the bed scenes... I mean after watching a few shows from 2022, they seemed bad in comparison, like they needed more workshops or better directing... why were all their bed scenes in the same bedroom/bed? They could have switched it up a little! And all their NC scenes started and ended the same way, like a script repeated 4/5 times. They did nothing for me. The potential was there but it didn't deliver. Also I loved the second couple, and we know how that ended... Not gonna watch the special episode since it seems nothing changed for those two in the special, which is sad.
This was sooooooooooo freaking cute. There's nothing wrong whatsoever with this series except that it is too short. Great, great, great. I don't know why it doesn't have a higher score and I'm usually very stingy. It's great.

My guess is that it might be because I haven't watched UMWA and I didnt have any expectations, and because I didn't wait each week for an episode but binge watched it in two days.
My advice: watch this if you haven't watched UMWA; you can follow the story perfectly well without seen that one and you will not be expecting anything from it and can enjoy it freely. My only two complaints would be that the center episodes or towards the end, they dragged a little the "we cannot confess to each other because of reasons" part but since I binge watched it, it probably didn't feel as long as it did for the people watching it live.
Also I loved that there were like a hundred couples in this, and I loved the Tul Waan story the most: in that last bed scene I was thinking, these two brothers have the same sex drive loooool both can't wait to take their partners' shirts off xDDD

I don't know. I'm conflicted about the whole season 2. I definitely liked some moments, others seemed super draggy, others were not needed.
I personally didn't care about the music career part so the whole performance I skipped. The bed scene was super romantic but it was so slow it bored me a little (it was filmed slow, and then slowed down, my lord). I didn't "feel the love" but I kinda appreciated it nonetheless. For me these 4 episodes could be compressed into 2, and even then there was not much happening. I feel like they didn't think much about the plot, and all the characters seemed way more empty and without nothing really important to say. I was so aware of this because I loved the YiDiao pair, and in all the scenes in S2 it seemed like they had nothing to talk about. Same (but less noticeable) with Kuea and Lian. It kinda tainted my view of all the couples, when I was so happy with them by the end of season 1.
Anyway. It wasn't super bad, but it wasn't good either. I think for some it might have ruined their story a little bit, instead of completing it.
This was cute, but It has some serious problems. First, there's no chemistry from Dao's part beyond episode 3 or 4, he behaves like Kluen is his friend, at some point I believe from his actions that he was going to move on and fall for someone else, then Dao's way of dealing with the problems with Kluen was disastrous, at some moments he's unlikeable. The secondary characters had potential but there was no story there whatsoever except for the purpose of moving the main couple forward; and the physical intimacy ... I mean, I didn't expect much but it was just.... So poor.... So not moving. Yeah, nothing there. The story was cute with all the little moments with the photo, the assignments, the t-shirts.... But I think they needed workshops and some parts of the story were badly written. Still, it's cute if you're not looking for something special and you're bored....
I think the people who disliked this movie, either didn't understand it, or watched it from a privileged point of view (and love to be the politically correct police), or had a traumatic experience in the past. Only in the last case I would understand not liking this, because it might be triggering, but the rest...?
Everybody is like: how can we see the rape and torture and see past it? Easy, we're starting from a point where everything is lost, life has no meaning, and when all is lost and we're about to end things, it might take something extreme to take us back.
People, we're not talking about a person who enjoyed raping people in their free time just for the fun of it, we're talking about a person who is about to commit suicide, that sees another person who is about to do the same, and thinks that the only way to save that person is to make them want to live again. But if you're a privileged person, with no empathy, and who's never been at the end of the rope, you wouldn't understand it I guess. Stockholm syndrome my ass. They both found on each other the reason to keep living, and if that experience is what it took for two people to still be in this world, and not end their lives, so be it. It's better than death. I've made my peace with it. Judge me if you want.
