Title Unknown
I liked this, but I don't know... when they finally got together something felt off.First, the intimate scene…
Also, now that I think about it, after they actually had sex, excluding maybe the scene the morning after, there were no romantic scenes at all. They still seemed like siblings. Even in their "romantic dinner" it seemed like friends or something.
I don't know, Maybe the romantic chemistry between the actors wasn't there from the start or it went away after they got together (which happens a lot) but I just felt a little numb the whole time. It was like siblings or good friends who stop being that for a short second to kiss and then go back to being whatever they were.

I liked this, but I don't know... when they finally got together something felt off.
First, the intimate scene was edited in such a way to make it more artsy but ended up being a mess.
Secondly, it seemed like they went from "I don't know if I like you like that" to "let's have sex" way too quickly, I needed more of a progression of feelings and acceptance. I think Qian would have needed a slowly developed physical relationship and it would have made more sense for the character since he was struggling to accept his feelings for his brother. But it was too fast. Not in the sense of the whole story but from the moment he decides to let go and try and see if what he feels is romantic to the moment they get together and have sex. All happened in one conversation.
Also, I'm very open minded and I've watched other stories with similar plots but this felt way to much like a father/son or siblings relationship that it was kinda hard to get into it at times in a romantic sense. If they had shown Qian thinking about Xuan in a more physical way earlier on, it wouldn't have seemed like it was romantic so suddenly. You could see that he had feelings for his brother more or less but it seemed like he wasn't sure if they were romantic or not and the next moment they were already having sex.
I dont know, I think the last 2 or 3 episodes weren't as good as the rest, and they didn't nail it with the scenes of them actually getting together. But it was nice enough.
Also, I could see the sister and the friend getting together at first, but the moment they actually got together it seemed like they didn't look at each other at all. It was like they acted as if they hated each other, I don't, know, it was weird, it didn't seem like there was any love there. It seemed more like obligation because you got together with your friend's sister and now you cannot go back.

I dont know. I give it a 7.5 or an 8. Not sure yet.

Agghh how I hate to go against the grain... but, even when this wasn't bad, and it was an original idea, for me…
Now I know what this story reminds me of! LOST! The idea was original, the writers made the story as it goes, not thinking about tying it all together, threw weird choices at him (wtf?) and then at the end the solution to it all...? Purgatory! lol

I realize some people say the game was just purgatory or something like that, after he killed himself, but that doesn't make any sense either.... why would purgatory be just living another life like normal? wouldn't that be reincarnation? and the other characters were dead too? made up? fictitious? aggh.... there's just to many questions to actually consider this as well written. Like I said, it's not like I need everything spelled out, and I have enjoyed other shows were they leave the spectator to imagine what's going on or what will happen, but this was too 'built on sand' to be good.

Agghh how I hate to go against the grain... but, even when this wasn't bad, and it was an original idea, for me it was all over the place.

It felt random, like you couldn't make heads or tails of anything. Was it a game? An alternate reality? A second chance? did he go back in time? Isn't it a little weird that you end up falling in love with some weird version of yourself? Did he get to stay and live in the game or it suddenly became real? were all these people actually real? I have so many questions that it stops being an original idea and starts to be an idea that wasn't fully developed and fleshed out but was made up as it goes without any proper sense or explanation. I don't need it to be spelled out but, this just leaves f*ing everything to your interpretation.

Each time a system error ocurred it felt like it didn't make sense, it was just put there to create drama. I don't think this is good writing, it's just masked as some deep story but I don't feel attached to the characters because I don't even know if they exist (besides Tae Myung Ha) or they're a part of somebody's imagination.
I'm sorry but not a fan. But I do realise people loved this. I binge watched it so maybe it's better if you watched small doses of it week by week.

Don't kill me, but this was not my cup of tea. I would recommend to anyone reading that isn't very fond of the game/alternate reality/whatever this was-thing to trust your gut and don't watch it. But if you like this kinda thing then go ahead, it's nice enough, and certainly better than some BLs that have no story at all.

I didnt like much the last episode (as said in some other comments) and I think it was because hoshizawa's reaction was too tame to everything happening around him. I realize his personality was like that but in the last few scenes he barely said a word that wasn't "mhmm".

This was so weird. The first three episodes were crap, very repetitive and the dialogues were boring. But then…
I would say the biggest thing about this bl is that it had reaaaaaaaaaally really bad parts, where it was boring and badly written, and then it had a few episodes and scenes that were really well written, acted and directed. So I'm gonna base my rating on the latter even tho the first episodes were basically crap all over. It left a good taste in my mouth because the best parts were at the end. If you manage to keep going and FF the first episodes you will like it.

shouldn't because you don't want to? hum ok.
Shouldn't because there's quite a lot of people saying the same thing. This has a lot of bulling and SA and that's not okay to treat as something cute or romantic either.

This was so weird.
The first three episodes were crap, very repetitive and the dialogues were boring. But then after episode 4 it started to pick up and by episode 7 I was loving it. Their chemistry was great, the sexual tension mixed with the fear of the other person not feeling the same way was perfectly represented. It reminded me of my teen years were you could feel something with somebody boiling up but misunderstanding and waiting for the other person to be the first one to take the step (not being brave enough) sometimes ended up in miscommunication.
I agree that the flashbacks were better than the present time but the chemistry was great in both timelines. This was really cute and it did surprise me.
Only bad parts were the first few episodes (this could have had 4 episodes total and be perfect) and the second couple who was basically introduced and had one or two moments but that was it. I hope it's because they'll get their own series.
I'm quite critical of Thai bl but this was actually good and I didn't mind that the reason for their fall out was explained late, I think it was explained when it had to be, as a parallel to how the story was going in present time.
Well done.

Definitely shouldn't have such a high ranking but it's okay. The plot where they struggle with their feelings for a man was interesting, but I think it was developed better in the second couple. The first couple was like "what are you doing? that's gross!" and fine with it the next scene. Didn't make much sense.
The second couple took more time and the guy struggling by missing the other guy and giving in a little, and even then it wasn't 100%. So it made more sense.
The fish kisses were a turn off too, you kinda get a proper kiss at the last minute and lasted all but 2 seconds.
I think the rest was forgettable, and ML's trauma with his brother was resolved too quickly (how was he so intense at first, and was fine after learning that his brother commited suicide because of his bf's brother and didn't kill him right then and there? he was so touchy about the topic at first!).

Just finished watching this, and It was nice but it's definitely not better than the japanese version. I admit the japanese one lacked the physical touch and the movie was crap, but the series itself was better. This one had a few things that weren't great, mostly their chemistry (Tay gave it all but New had always an expression on his face like he was suffering, instead of in love, and he wasn't a bad actor per se but wasn't good either). This one had more kisses and all that but since Tay was giving it all and New was like it hurt him to kiss Tay, it was unsatisfactory all the same, so I rather had the og version were the chemistry was better.
I didn't like that they portrayed karan as too much of a simp who would be screaming inside at any minimal interaction with achi. It was too exagerated. I mean, kurosawa was a simp too but, you know, an adult, very devoted but still an adult, not somebody who's gonna scream kyaaa like a little girl at anything adachi did. I liked the second couple but Mark had the same problems New did. Couldn't buy that he was in love with Jinta. Btw the Jinta guy was hot! And New had a great body which made it funny when he said in the sauna that his body looked like tofu. He's probably even more fit than Tay lol
Also the series had a lot of filler and I admit I skipped forward in quite a lot of episodes. I think shorter is better if you're gonna make it more interesting. Still, I would say I liked it, but definitely not as much as the japanese version.

This doesn't deserve a 7.8. Maybe a 7.1 or 7.2 at best (I usually agree with mdl's ratings but this one is a no-no. I'm guessing it's because this series had a lot of hype online, or because of the omegaverse thing). I finished it because I was watching with a friend and we were kinda intrigued about Charlie's motives to be with Babe. But we kinda skipped forward a bunch and watched the whole series in 5 or 6 hours.
The script was crap. The main couple were in love suddenly and without explanation and we don't see any progress or feelings being developed or anything. I kinda believed Babe's, but Charlie I could not see how he was in love with Babe. I didnt buy it which means his performance was weak.
Acting wise they were all kinda meh, but not bad. But Charlie was actually bad. Charlie could not show any kind of emotion at all. The dialogue was laughable at times and it was cringy. I was either bored or feeling the cringe.
The only saving grace were Alan and Jeff. They were cute, their acting was good, and their story seemed more developed and believable. The rest...
Don't watch this with any expectation, and you might enjoy it for what it is. Which is another thai product that wasn't well thought out and polished and ended up being mediocre.

I liked it, it was cute, but for some reason I could not buy Kizu Takumi's acting as being in love with Toki.…
Thinking about it, I felt more chemistry coming from the teacher for Nekoto than for Toki. Huge flaw there in terms of acting.

I liked it, it was cute, but for some reason I could not buy Kizu Takumi's acting as being in love with Toki. Like, he said he liked him and everything, but nothing in the way he acted suggested that he did. I think it's a mistake from the writing and the actor himself, could not convey properly that he was falling in love with Toki. To me it looked the whole time that he saw Toki the same way he saw other students on his class. So that part was a big turn off for me.
This also seems like it could use a special episode or something where we see them together and maybe a bit about the friends who were stepbrothers.
I agree with everyone else that the Nekoto story got too long. I wasn't interested and it could have been resolved quicker.

This drama is not as bad as what the rating says. It is actually better than some of the 8++ rating Thai BL on…
Really? I mean, I understand everyone has different tastes but only for the quality of the acting and the dialogues you should be able to see how this is low quality. Come on.

I like slow burn romances, that's not the problem.

In episode 8 I thought Sky was breaking out in hives. First during the scene where he was so upset and then Vee…
I also saw it in other scenes besides the sex scene. I think they recorded that episode in one go and that day he had a skin problem or a bunch of mosquitoes ate him up or something.

Also, am I the only one who thinks he was wearing a wig or something? either that or his hairline is really weird.
