Very beautiful series, very very very good acting. But it's not exactly my cup of tea. I'm not very fond of the…
Also, I don't mean to be nitpicky, but the dialogue suggests he's going to study for a year for the college entrance exams, what? Wasn't he a tutor for several years? I mean, I'm a teacher myself, tutoring kids after class, I don't think I would need more than a month to take my exam again, you re-hash everything everyday with your kids....
Even if you don't teach every subject, a 31 year old with several years of experience shouldn't take more than 3-4 months of studying.... A year? whithout doing anything else? I don't know.
And I understand korea's exams might be hard, but to be honest I've seen other shows and what they teach and it's not that different from where I live....
oh well

Very beautiful series, very very very good acting. But it's not exactly my cup of tea. I'm not very fond of the overly dramatic series where a person is having a really hard time and it seems in the worst moments every bad thing that can happen, happens. It's too melodramatic for me. Also, not fond of the storytelling where there's too much left to your imagination, at times it was too hard to understand what happened to Dohee that day of the exams, and I still don't understand why he failed so many times since he was apparently such a good student. I understand not coping well and getting nervous maybe the first 2 times but after that it didn't make much sense. I still don't understand if he went to jail and they didn't show that period or what happened.
I'm okay with being subtle and leaving some things for the viewer to figure out but at times it was too much, too criptic, I was too distracted trying to figure out what was happening instead of focusing on their feelings and conversations.
Still, 7,5 rating for me, because otherwise I realize it's a very nice story, very romantic, and very well acted. I wouldn't re-watch it tho.

MMmmm... meh. The chemistry wasn't chemistring. FL seemed awkward everytime ML hugged her even at the end when they've supposedly been together for that long. The whole mother-in-law from hell thing is too ridiculous now, some clichés need to die already. Not even gonna mention the accident. It started nice enough but in the end it was a convoluted mess.

I enjoyed that "cameo" tho. JJ guys everywhere.

This was horrible once you have already seen the thai version. It was like they copied the dialogues and situations but there was no real direction done about the feelings of their characters and it was so rushed that it made no sense. Characters went from I don't feel nothing to I love you in 5 seconds. Nothing was properly directed, and the second couple's characters were nothing like Prapai and Sky. Which is fine in itself but since you're not changing the main plot of the story it made no sense the characters behaving the way they did. In the original story everything is explained, why Sky's personality is the way he is, how his traumas affected the way he sees love, everything. You can see the pain in his eyes everytime Prapai wants to get closer to him. In this version everything is explained on the surface without any proper depth and the actors don't properly convey any deep feelings whatsoever
Also, I'm sorry, but Prapai is supposed to be this playboy who's very conceited because he knows he's hot and rich and can have whoever he wants. What was this choice in casting with this guy that is not hot enough to properly convey that kind of confidence. I mean, I'm not dragging him but even with his looks he might be able to convey this if he was a good actor, but he really wasn't. There was nothing going on there to actually play that character.
Also, the first sex scene between prapai and sky in the thai version was so beautifully directed, the colors, the cinematography, the music, the sexual tension! My god this version was like a temu version of that scene, the quemistry and good cinematography were absent completely.
This really made me appreciate the original version even more, even with its flaws.

PD: the spanking part is cringy in both versions, that didn't change lol

The actors did a great job and the parts about his deceased brother were compelling, but there was something that didn't really click. They seem to go from acquaintances to "I'm in love with you" really fast without proper progression and once they get together all the quemistry was gone and there was no story there. It was nice but it wasn't anything exciting or well though-out.

Is there just one special? Because I don't know, the special felt like it needed like one more special to finish the story properly, not telling the friends was a bit of a let down.

This made me want to stop watching BLs. Made me feel dirty for some reason.

lol the star-crossed haters thing lasted for half an episode
this was cute, but the chemistry was a little ... off or boring I don't know, Yu seemed like half-asleep by the second half of the show and not interested in anything, and Ing seemed annoyed with Yo by the end of it.

Well, I don't even know what you are on about, but once you find anywhere as good live action episode as was episode…
Plenty are better than episode 4 was. Just because they had good tension doesn't mean it's perfect. The rest of the story needs to be good as well. A perfect kiss scene doesn't suddenly make everything else perfect. And like I said, we wanted to know what happened with this couple after ULS ended and they didn't give us that.

As lovely as this was, I cannot really like It all the way since It wasnt what we really wanted. The point of doing something extra with this couple after ULS, was to know what happened with this couple after the end since they left it so vague. We wanted to know more about them, what happened after the end, did they really get together? But this.... It was lovely for sure, but a huge disappointment since it was as vague as ULS was. This end I guess marks the point where the other story starts so what I wanted to know is still left unanswered. I know now what relationship they had before ULS but that was not necessary since you could more or less guess or picture it yourself.

Anyways, it was lovely as a stand alone thing, but not good if you were expecting something more after ULS.
7/10 from me
It would be a 9 if I hadn't watched ULS before

Is this really worth It? Does it get better as it goes? I'm starting episode 3 and I hate the FL and I don't see why this man fell in love with her. I was cheering when she got in trouble. She's very one dimensional at this point.

Was it cute? Yes
Was it awfully and frustratingly dragget out? YES. This could be 6-8 episodes tops.
I give it a 7. Binge watching this was frustrating, I think around episodes 5-9 there was nothing happening but two people that were clearly in love with each other behaving like they're not.
I'm hoping the high score is from people who watched week by week, which I'm guessing makes it more palatable.

I mean... this was cute, but it's something you forget about inmediately after you watch it. The fish kisses were a let down but it's expected for this kind of story.
