indeed very underrated might be my fave historical and even overall romance drama so far! since ii've already given the best drama of the year title to another drama hahah

i'm sure she had no bad intentions dude! i'm sure like all of us she wishes to watch as soon as possible as the drama is so good you can tell her that they are volunteers and explain to her the things she doesn't know in a way that doesn't seem like you're lecturing her. and no need for us to be assuming anything however i agree that we should appreciate and have patience so thanks for pointing it out.

what i meant is that it would've been hard enough to find out that she was the one behind the drawing( not that she was the princess) ... had it not been for DY recognizing her drawing, they wouldn't know the source that easily and find which province had the culprit that easily ..... if he truly cared he would have just shut up about it but he didn't, he said it himself in ep 11 that he was doing all that for his own sake ( he's selfish ) it was a hard task from the start ... the king gave the task of burning all the books and stopping their production becasue he knew it would be a hard task , no one would've known if not for DY and it would've taken them a long long time before they manage to get a lead and locate the source :) therefore yes he's ruining things and standing in her way for his own selfish reasons .. that's not protecting her that way, he's making it even harder ... remember she had to do the drawing or they'll all be kicked out and the onwer was gonna report them if they don't pay back ....he knows Ba Wo is the only person that's been taking care of her and protecting her and he also knows that his dad wants to kill him and he went there and with all bad intentions captured him knowing if he died no one could protect the princess , not even himself ... now with that being said he is indeed a thoughtless dumbass whose consumed by jealousy and blinded by it i could argue that he did this to get ba wu out of his way solely and not because he wanted to protect her( protecting her is an excuse he's trying to convince himself with whyy because instead of harming them he could've warned them and helped them find a way out of it but no he stormed in with soldiers and captured BaWu ( who hosted him in his house and helped him recover from his fatal wound, i guess that's how he repays the favor and good.
BW is very loyal and he does not do things out of selfishness. He just lives in cruel times at the mercy of powerful…
yess that's so accurate which sums up and explain his complex character and he's said it before he was depressed and doesn't feel like he has the right to live so i'm glad he's decided to try and become happier he deserves to; among all the hardship he has gone through even the princess likes it better, she said she discovered that living can be fun so imagine the agony and life of despair she was living before..
Wang yu is the second male lead ( joo jin moo ) and its too painful to be honest
no so the male lead is ta hwan the emperor, for me you see he ends up with the lead but ii believe her one true love is def wang yu so for me since she and wang yu lived such a tragic love story, i got a sls for wang yu and it was tough like i was mad and i cried like alot almost each one of their scenes, and that that's crazy normally i would just feel bad for the sl but i believe it was the first time getting sls since i normally like the leads better together,, and it was weird because i like ji chang wook more than joo jin moo but in this show i didn't it was the opposite
definitely one of the bestt i'd say, and deserves a high rating but no way near THE BEST DRAMA OF 2021 in my opinion
